Regardless of that, whats with the MC "iF sHE noT vIRGin or TouchED oTher mAn She caNt BE IN mE HareM"? Like, seriously? Monica cant be in the harem even when she lost her virginity to the MC? And that childish way of thinking of the MC contradicts the whole Monica situation anyway, since he is clearly open to share a woman. And also that means no milfs in the harem right? or any woman over 18, hell it would be hard to even find 18 yo virgins since the dev wants the story to be realistic
I think that's more the devs view on things.
It lines up with the whole "red pill manosphere" shite I keep hearing about.

Everyone is entitled to their own view on things, it doesn't touch my life in any way that's not the issue here. The main problem when someone tries to bring that to a character like this is they come across very immature.
I mean, they have the MC be this successful guy with a family and long term relationship which was pretty open to involve other women for both him and his wife. Then they have him talk like a drunk frat boy that's seen tits for the first time in his life. It's very jarring.
Would it really? If she cared that much about her marriage would she have cheated on him several times already? It doesnt matter how many times the dev has her say she is in love with the guy, her actions show that she either hates him or just doesnt care about him in the slightest, so why would she want to stay with that man, who makes her unhappy and she would even have to sleep with him, when shes said she never onced enjoyed doing it.
If it is a money thing she could divorce him and take his money, not to mention the MC is loaded already and it is clear he would provide for her. So I fail to see much logic in any of her actions really. Hell, it would make more sense for her tell both the husband and the MC to fuck off and go find someone else, I just cant get over how silly the whole deal is.
It seems more like she doesn't want to be alone.
If she leaves her husband she is going to be stuck as a side fuck while watching the MC with his main girls. That just seems like a pathetic place to willingly put yourself. Give up a man that loves her just to be a part time cum dump.
The problem with that kind of writing is it puts her in a bad spot. When he MC is acting like she's not worth being with then the players won't give a shit about her and then what's the point of her character?
As it stands I don't understand why the dev has done her character like that. It seems utterly pointless going to the effort of making a character,
have her and the MC reconnect after his wifes death, put her into the love interest role and have players start to care about her character and then say she's just a side fuck.
She's put in the role of the MC being the love of her life and then him telling her he doesn't see her as a potential harem member. It just makes no sense.
Honestly I had the hope the husband didnt really exist, there were hints of that, like when Monica talks on the phone with a woman and then lies to MC telling him she was talking to her husband, but it seems that it was just a red herring

She was on the phone with her daughter that she was trying to hide from the MC until she was ready (as it's his kid it seems).

It's another matter if the husband does turn out to be a lie but then, she kept her (possibly his) daughter from him for years then potentially lied about being married. How could he trust anything she says?
I think her character model is great, well, all of the women are. But her character writing is terrible. Her and the MC don't come across well at all in places. Not to mention they have her daughter (possibly his) fall in love with him, talk about what a great guy he is while he's trying to push one of her closest friends into fucking him for money and just using her mother to fuck when he's bored.
It's in an odd spot is this game.
In some places it's really good and in others it's just weird as fuck.
