Just know next update is roughly end of February for now and this game is 6 chapters long

We still have 2 and half chapters left to finish ALWL. Then we will begin on the second game (possibly third as well). We should finish ALWL by the end of this year, and are planning on having a quicker, and smaller, release schedule for the next game. So I would expect the first release of the next game to be early next year.

One of the next games will be more of a story first game, with a male MC. Kind of an action thriller type.
The other game will be probably be a female MC. The redhead reporter from the news parts from ALWL. It will be more along the lines of ALWL as far as content goes, but with more of a mystery type story line. Investigative reporting, etc.
Both will actually be tied into ALWL, as they are set in the same 'universe' and will have characters from ALWL in them also.
While I love ALWL and it's gonna be a sad day when it's completed in some ways cause how much I love it. I also can't wait for the other projects especially cause you said one will be more of a story first game. Cause the story I find pretty good in this one.

Yeah, we are looking forward to trying our hands at something different. We have learned a lot from ALWL, so will be able to try some new stuff with the next ones. Maybe not be so FitB in the next one! hahaha. Though I know the way we work, and I am sure there will still be quite a bit of it.

It is somewhat unfortunate that this story is coming to an end, but I am glad that the other games that you plan to create will be a kind of continuation of the first one.

We never intended to drag A Life Worth Living on for too long. We had a story we wanted to tell, with a beginning and an end. We have added a lot into it from how we first envisioned it, and for the most part I think it made it better. But we always wanted to have it end in a reasonable amount of time, and not become just endless filler.
At some point around the end of Chapter 3, we started having ideas for the next games, and it allowed us to add a few elements into ALWL that we could continue with in the those later games. Some characters, some ideas, some scenes that we could use to tie them all together. So we will see how that all works out!

I can't speak for everyone but for me personally think why it's gonna be sad for some of us when the game comes to an end is not cause it's over exactly but Mary is such an awesome character. With the way you told the story at least to me it's sorta of like an addiction where you just want more of Mary. But sadly yes it must come to an end as like you said it would be filler and lose the good story telling along the way id imagine.

That has me smiling pretty damned big right now. Thanks! I know myself and others love Mary to death, and it will be strange not to have her as a main character going forward. She has been a huge part of our lives for going on 3 years now. So as sad as it is for you, know that we feel the same.
On the bright side, I am pretty sure we will have her make an appearance or two in at least one of the other games. And hopefully we will have other characters that touch us, and you, in the same way.

All good things must come to an end eventually. We still have more to come for this game so I'm not sad yet, but I am buoyed by the future plans. I look forward to your future work.
I'd like to know the exact steps for the Mary/Shaun scene to trigger, or maybe what variables need to be set. I've tried various things and just can't seem to trigger it.

I believe it is hotwife path possibly with no cheating. MC gets text while on computer and responds something about it being sexy. This will trigger it. The text happens before the shoot scene is viewed. At work so can't check exact variables but I know it is hotwife and scene was not removed.
It must be the no cheating thing, because I'm on hotwife path, but have cheated and can't get it to trigger at all. Thanks. I guess I'll have to start a new run without cheating at all. Ugh, that's a long way to go just for one scene. I wish I knew what variable(s) that could be changed to get there.
Confirmed: you can't have cheated on hotwife path to trigger Shaun scene. Thanks for the tip about no cheating. I did find that the variable "fcheat" must be False.
If Fred had cheated, you wouldn't 'see' the scene but only hear it from Zoe. If Fred didn't cheat, it means you are on either a hotwife or vanilla path. Hotwife goes all the way to penetration. However vanilla stops at softporn shoot.
Yeah… however i'm hoping for that because it's my favourite! I like also the swinging path (that is basically one partner that cucks each other in the same scene), but the sharing/cuckold path remain my favourite one
Cucking and Swinging are not the same thing. Cucking is where the one watches, jerks off, and doesn't get no action.
Swinging is partner sharing with third, and/or fourth party member, all getting it from another whether it's straight or bisexual, or gay.
