Still, I wouldn't be so quick to declare him "good" either. Too early imo. He might be just playing a game with Scott.

While you seem fun, you say dumb things. So many games on here feature male MCs who have the ability to fuck every girl they lay their eyes on. Go play those instead of whining about a game which doesn't meet your delicate needs.

First, she's not your aunt, she's your neighbour. Second, I don't really know "how much" of confident stat you need, i haven't looked into these much when i played. Just try to choose assertive answers, it's not hard to guess which ones. For example, with Olivia\neighbour, make compliments to her, but don't be too direct. Look at her reaction after you choose something, if she doesn't like it then turn back and choose something else.
I suppose (if you don't want to watch Scott "growing up" and only care about assertive protags) you want something like Boring Douche Trainer. The few types of default alpha protags i really know (that's presented on this forum in more than one game) is either from dark fetish games, like rapist or blackmail simulators. Or from "pornodrome" type games aka fuck them all without any story or progression. Both can be fun sometimes, but become boring really fast for me. Not all are playing just to see H pictures. And coincidentally making weak and shy MMC into alpha wolf (or weak and shy FMC into alpha tigress) is one of the most popular scenarios that you can find in these games and not only games. Why? Because this is fun to read and watch for many-many people. Yes, even if you're assertive stronk guy irl. You as person don't need to be as shy as Scott to identify with him or care about him. Not how it works. This is just not for you i guess.

Allow me to set the record straight for you. I’m not some meathead bro who doesn’t care about story progression and character development, but there are ways to write the starting point for a male main character without making him frustratingly timid/slow/pre-pubescent at 20.. I’ve used the following reference before on another thread, but it’s one thing if that is central to the character due to mental/emotional limitations like the main character from “Life” where he has Etchberger‘s syndrome, however (like most) this isn’t the case. I understand that not every dev is a Steinback or Hemingway, but if they took a little more time thinking through the over-arch and progress of their main lead they might just think of a way to write them so the average player doesn’t scream at their computer screen.

@TheDefany That's sad to hear. So many great underrated games here with almost no patrons after months of development, it's crazy. Seems like the good original ones struggle the most when it comes to gaining popularity and income, and "cookie cutter" copies of popular games\genres just swim in that cash. I really hope you'll indeed be back.

Those of you who call this game a "cuck simulator" or don't like the mc being braver than you are in RL need to read this. It would better for you to leave this thread. The game is on hold and when it wasn't, the dev plainly and clearly said that this is the game where he starts as shy and reserved but gains the ability to earn a woman's affection.
To those of you responding to those complaining about the mc, keep it civil and just remind them that "You've just wasted your own time because if you actually read the post you downloaded the game from, you'd realize what you're downloading.
