Yeah, and why does this have to be a dumb "full" harem game? It was your statement after all. LostTacos just wandered how it's even going to end up a harem, because "the characters are all pretty complicated and they don't really have a lot in common with each other." And I agree with this, even Erika and Harlow, the most open and easy-going girls, imho, immediately begin to test the ground of the relationship between the MC and each of them, as soon as they realize that such a relationship exists with both of them. And it seems to me that the tension is accumulating and will only grow. But those two are the most couplable in this sense, Harlow seems to be open to experiments, and Erika seems to like her, and she is certainly not shy. But how the author can naturally create a harem with Vanessa (or Prof) and any other girl is a mystery to me. Well, unless the dev is going to do exactly that "dumb harem game" trick you mentioned, I don't see how these women now can accept the polyamorous relationship, it would be so out of their characters. Especially Vanessa. This kiss was the ultimate sign of trust to the MC, if you take into account her personality and backstory. And then she finds out that the dude was pounding a couple of chicks in the meantime, yes, this is the best way to develop a relationship with her. And not even to mention how this will affect their fake couple show in public.
