About this comment, I don't know if you know that there is an interesting fan theory about it. In this theory, Chloe has been affected in all the major routes by the spell performed by Marilyn whose final intention was to make Nicole fall madly in love with MC (she took advantage of the morning of Day 4, when she sneaked into MC's bedroom to rummage through his mind, an event that occurs in all possible routes of the game), but its outcome varies in each major route of the game:

• In the routes where Chloe cheats on MC with their disgusting History teacher (the routes titled "Chloe is Strange" and "Chloe is no longer MC's girlfriend"), MC has neglected and/or lied to Chloe enough for her to fall into this affair with Beeman. This would be because when the spell MC carried inside him was unleashed on the person closest to MC, it was not Nicole but Chloe, and since her feelings towards MC were of a negative nature, the spell remained hibernating inside her waiting for someone to provoke positive feelings of that type, something that only happened when she was with Beeman. That would explain the obsessive fanaticism with which Chloe accepts her forbidden affair with Beeman. The crucial difference between the two routes is based on the player's choice after MC discovers on Day 6 the affair between his girlfriend and his History teacher, during a talk with Marilyn:
  • If the player chooses the option of not forgetting Chloe, MC will maintain the relationship with her and during Day 10 he will notice the differences in how she treats him and Beeman sexually, which will generate doubts that he will raise with Marilyn, who will try to dismiss them until Day 13 when MC discovers a magic circle under Chloe's bed and questions Marilyn about it, who confesses her twisted secret plan and how it must have backfired. This is the route known as Chloe is Strange.
  • If the player chooses to forget Chloe once and for all, MC will accept the facts and decides to focus exclusively on Nicole, as Marilyn has recommended to him. As a result, Chloe will break up with him after her family dinner at the steakhouse on Day 7 and they will each go their separate ways, except when Chloe wants to give the impression to her parents that they are still together in order to hide her true relationship with Beeman. Since MC is no longer in a relationship with Chloe, he won't notice Chloe's differences in sexual treatment when it comes to him versus Beeman. This is the route known as Chloe is no longer MC's girlfriend, and neither MC nor Marilyn should suspect that there is a badly done spell by Marilyn because MC would not know anything and Marilyn would believe that it has gone well, given the progress of the relationship between MC and Nicole, and that the progress of the affair between Chloe and Beeman is due to the fact that she must be resentful of MC and for that reason she has become entangled with the man that MC hates the most.
• In the route where Chloe remains MC's faithful girlfriend, Marilyn's spell would have been triggered when MC was near Chloe, and since she had positive feelings of that kind towards MC, the spell worked perfectly on her, directing all her affection towards him despite the various future moments where he cuts short their moments together to be with his beloved Nicole. Therefore, he would not know about the existence of a spell cast on Chloe as he would believe that the lovestruck Chloe is still in love with him, without anything strange driving her to do so. Meanwhile, in Marilyn's case, she would not believe that her spell backfired because she does know about the continued progress of the forbidden relationship between MC and Nicole and Chloe's behavior would seem to her to be that of a girl in love with her boyfriend, without knowing or catching a glimpse of the closeness between him and her mother.

What do you think of the theory?

This theory is very interesting. We discussed it before, and I misinterpreted it at the time as Marilyn using her spell to get Nicole all for herself. It's my fault, and my brain processes things slowly.

My only question is why would Marilyn go to the trouble of making a spell to make Nicole fall in love with the MC (Us)? Does she have no confidence in MC (Us) that MC (Us) couldn't court Nicole?

I'm so glad Marilyn's spell backfires in all three routes with Chloe because if the spell were ever to succeed, then Nicole's character development for her feelings towards MC (Us) would've been ruined and wouldn't be called a natural love story between MC (Us) and Nicole. It would ruin their relationship and love story, in my opinion.

I never played through the Chloe is Strange path so I never knew about the magic spell. This theory is very credible and infact I think this is what Orb wanted to convey if what you said about the magic circle under Chloe's bed is true on Chloe is Strange path.

I highly doubt that we will see Nicole Heavens with a noticeable baby belly.

This is most probably how Orb will proceed with the game but I wish we had the luxury of baby belly renders T_T

It is quite possible that Marilyn did not have enough confidence that MC, a young man who has just come of age and is the boyfriend of her only daughter, will succeed in corrupting Nicole, an adult housewife apparently completely happy with her married and family life.

Perhaps Marilyn believed that Nicole Heavens would sooner rather than later completely shut down MC's attempts to make progress with her once her daughter Chloe received her final grades, but both MC and Nicole pleasantly surprised her.

Furthermore, we must not forget that Marilyn has her own romantic interest in Nicole and perhaps that spell not only made the final target of the spell fall madly in love with the one who unconsciously carried the spell, but also to reach further levels of corruption and submission (for example, making it possible in the near future that, if the bearer of the spell (MC) suggested a threesome, an orgy or a lesbian relationship to the final target (Nicole), the final target would accept it without any hesitation).

However, we shouldn't dismiss the various fan theories that have been appearing about the possibility that Marilyn's interest in Nicole is just a decoy to hide her true interest in the Heavens family, probably to get revenge on John for something the latter might have done in the past to her family (after all, we've only heard about Marilyn's family from the grandmother she currently lives with, and the mother, who was the first woman MC noticed when he was a kid, after playing a prank on her by soaking her with the hose; If I recall correctly, Marilyn's father has never been mentioned and the few mentions of her mother seem to be in the past tense, implying that she is dead).

In my previous post I forgot to put a detail: if that fan theory is true, it would explain much better why Chloe Heavens is still in that coma, since perhaps it is the product of the strong clash within her psyche, between her survival instinct and the feelings generated and enhanced by the spell (if Chloe has that affair with Beeman, those feelings would be towards Beeman; if Chloe remains faithful to her boyfriend, she feels that way towards MC and as long as Beeman would leave the badly injured MC alone, she was agreeing to run away with their disgusting History teacher for the sake of her young boyfriend).

Therefore, in the big routes where Chloe has her adventure with Beeman, the spell will be affecting her more in that unconsciousness than in the other big route where she remains faithful to MC.

On the other hand, you should remember that Nicole's pregnancy is optional, based on the parameter of how many times MC has cum inside her pussy before she receives the SMS with the results of that blood test. And we must not forget that, taking into account so many main parameters (Nicole corruption points, Marilyn relationship points, Nicole creampie points, etcetera), AML will probably become one of those games that will have several multiple endings based on the results of those parameters (in my opinion, I think there will be 12 different endings based on the current 3 main routes, and that each of them can have one outcome or another depending on whether Nicole is pregnant or not and whether Nicole's corruption points are high or low).

Given what we know about the story, it's almost 100% certain that the person who sent that anonymous text to Chloe was MC's nosy camgirl friend named Marilyn (who has woken MC up that morning in every possible route in the game and knows that he's going to visit that house).

With all this, I wonder what Marilyn's true intentions were in this regard, since the interaction with Chloe was where the spell should have acted on her. Maybe Marilyn realized beforehand that the spell went wrong or she regretted it at the last moment and intended to prevent it from affecting Nicole? Or perhaps the spell had no time limit and should have acted on someone with strong feelings towards the host (MC), but since at that moment Nicole had them but they were from two different extremes (on one hand she hated the corruption that MC was doing, but on the other, that same corruption was giving her something that she had longed for for a long time: to be truly desired by a man), that caused Nicole not to be the one affected, Chloe being the one affected because her strong feelings towards MC were mostly from one extreme?

I think that number might be even worse in 2025 if Nicole stays pregnant for a few updates since it will practically double rendering time. But if we don't see her pregnant body until the ending then it'll be the same I guess.

Personally, I think that this new 2025 will bring at least three updates, as it seems that Orb will no longer be burdened by the stress of finding a housing solution and after a period of adaptation to be able to normally work on his NSFW work in a place where he must be more cautious about it, I think he will get the hang of it. Also, as the timeline of AML's story progresses, I highly doubt that we will see Nicole Heavens with a noticeable baby belly.

I haven't played through the 'Chloe is Strange" route but this is very interesting.

In my opinion, that route is the most interesting of AML. I advise you to play it as soon as possible.

Always according to what Marilyn said, the spell had to wait a while to mature enough for the bonding to be successful. However, we don't really know if this is true or just an excuse Marilyn gives MC to argue why the spell backfired on her.

As for the second point, it is my assumption, but I think that the spell requires that the person who will be the object of bonding with the host (MC in this case) must have a set of emotions towards the host that, for the most part, are positive affectively. If there are emotions but they are sufficiently contradictory in an equitable way, the spell could cause rejection or be useless by not detecting enough positive energy, as Marilyn calls it. As for the second point, it is my assumption, but I think that the spell requires that the person who will be the object of bonding with the host (MC in this case) must have a set of emotions towards the host that, for the most part, are positive affectively. If there are emotions but they are sufficiently contradictory in an equitable way, the spell could cause rejection or be useless by not detecting enough positive energy, as Marilyn calls it.
