Don't worry about it. If I remember correctly, AML still has the "bug" where old saves don't work properly with the new updates (in my case, I don't see any harm in this, as I think it's great to play the game from the beginning again, but I know many players would like to just play from where they left off in their saves).

As for the main branches of the game, there are three based on the situation you have on Day 6 regarding the relationship between MC and Chloe:

Interesting musical choice for AML. Could this be because Willem Dafoe (or should I say John Heavens :ROFLMAO:) was the voice and motion-capture actor who played Ryuk in that trashy Netflix adaptation (Dafoe's performance was the only good thing about the film)?

PS: By the way, if I remember correctly, there's no track titled Ryuk's Theme on the Death Note soundtrack. Which track are you referring to?

Same here, the saves issue is not a problem for me, as I am planning to start from the beginning (and I will be). But aside from that, I really appreciate you for taking the time to explain all of this.

Then you were really lucky not to see that shit. It doesn't do justice to either the manga or the anime. And I'm afraid of what Netflix will be like again (it looks like they're going to make a new adaptation, this time in series form, produced by the same people who produced Stranger Things).

Regarding the track you mention, it's interesting that you use Kyrie for AML. Nicole Heavens could certainly become the Goddess of the New World, at least from MC's point of view.

Theory time:

WIP Dialogue Image #1: It looks like, regardless of what choice we make, MC (US) will have to meet Alicia. From the dialogue here, she's trying to pry out MC's (OUR) true intentions with Nicole by asking us if we truly love her, and wouldn't dare look at another woman, hence why she's playing with us with her words.

I'm guessing she's trying to seduce MC (US) because we say, "Hand it over, and I'll forget what just happened."

WIP Dialogue Image #2: From this image, it looks like MC (US) and Alicia are on their way to retrieve what she wants in exchange for the gargoyle, but we encounter a "creepy homeless man" who is harassing Alicia. I'm sure the game will give us choices, either to help Alicia or not.

I'm not sure who the "creepy homeless man" is because from the dialogue from MC (US), it's making us think we know the "creepy homeless man". Or he's just a random, creepy homeless man.

What do you guys think? Feel free to add.

For sure I would agree with your theory. I would like to mention something, since the last part Alicia kept on mentioning that MC and John sound similar. I feel this could be the clutch point in the future. I mean MC and John might some how be related. What do you say ?

Nicole's face card is one of the best I've ever seen, NGL. Also, I don't like where the story is heading, John is a truly evil character.

I forgot to mention that. It's either the theory that John and MC (US) are related or it could be that their personalities or character are very similar. But I'm leaning towards the former.

If Alicia's dialogue is like a hint that MC (US) and John are related, could that mean MC (US) and Chloe are related too? For me that's a "No". Because number 1, I heard multiple times in this forum that it goes against Patreon guidelines, and 2nd, I believe I remember Dev Orb mentioned that he will not allow incest in AML. I would also like to share the theory I have that Chloe may not be John and Nicole's legitimate daughter. Because I recall in the game, I forgot who mentioned it, but a character did mention that Chloe neither looks like John nor Nicole, and Chloe didn't get any distinct features from her mom.

As for the content of the code:
  1. The first screenshot seems to show how Alicia wants to play with MC, but he remains totally unmoved to her seduction games (I wouldn't even rule out that she might even be naked, topless or wearing one of those "dresses" that Kanye West's exhibitionist girlfriend loves to wear everywhere in public, in order to seduce him or simply to find out if his forbidden relationship with Nicole is something real and not just something motivated solely by lust).
  2. The second one seems to confirm my hunch that Alicia is wearing an outfit that is too provocative or exhibitionist and is strolling through what appears to be a park where repulsive types often hang around. However, as Optimus69420 points out, MC seems to recognize some of them, so I think it could be one of two possibilities:
    • the ex-model Josh in case his sister eventually kicked him out of the house for being a bad influence on her son,
    • or the business owner who was bought by John but was given money and a girl who was supposedly much younger than she actually is, which was the live example John showed MC of one of his favorite dirty winning business tactics during the Day 15.
    • However, seeing how playful/twisted Alicia is being with MC, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it's all a scene she's set up to see how MC will act.
As for the line of dialogue Alicia mentions about the behavioral likeness between MC and John, it's possible it could be any of the possibilities (simple resemblance by chance or because there may actually be an unknown family relationship between the two). For the latter, it's been widely theorized in this forum that MC could be John's illegitimate child, whose biological mother may have been Aunt Martha, who, unprepared by unknown reasons to handle raising a child, gave the child to her sister and brother-in-law (who might not have children of their own) to raise as their own. However, that theory would go against Patreon's firm censorship policies on incest, something Orb has always claimed to respect, so that possibility would be ruled out... unless Chloe was not actually the biological daughter of John and Nicole Heavens, as has also been theorized here based on the little resemblance to either of her official parents and instead being almost a clone of Nanci, Abi's dead sister, which would support a certain fan theory that perhaps she was the daughter of Nanci and Gavin and that John probably bought when Nicole was unconscious after giving birth to a stillborn girl in order to save his marriage, but as the girl grew up and Nicole did not give birth to more children, John gradually stopped trying hard in his marriage and decide to focus solely on his work, which he turned into a kind of harem of his own. If this last theory were true, perhaps then we would see why John apparently doesn't care that the future baby is not his, since he simply believes that it will never be born or perhaps he sees it as a blessing from heaven to have a son with his surname, even if he is not his blood, taking into account his great passion for history and genealogy.

However, whether this behavioral resemblance is due to chance or genetic reasons, let us not forget that perhaps it was precisely that detail that was the main reason that made Nicole give in so quickly to MC's lustful machinations to establish this relationship that has become a real affair, since perhaps she unconsciously sees in MC a younger version of the man who made her fall in love in her youth and whom she married, before life slowly separated them (although she didn't realize it, or rather, didn't want to realize it) and he ended up becoming a totally despicable being on every level.
