I tried to kill 1 dragon, but scene with the avatar made me to sad. I can't do it
Bro i could not even finish the fight, when it killed me i thought "No way in hell i will grind to see this dark ass depressing shit".
Ending 3 was kino, Ending 1 is really frustrating because of the things you left unfinished (Mechano and Furface mostly).

is this game safe to dw on this page
Sure is pal.

Cam you save the big dark cat? The space one. And is the being under Onigashima relevant for anything besides Ending 2 and Ending 3 before you get the furface? I got a sex scene with it (I think. It's just text with black screen.) When you visit it after saving the Furface.

In case anyone was as annoyed as me at the click-clack typewriter sounds during dialogue, but didn't want to disable all sound effects - here's a modified replacement Cursor1.ogg file that silences that sound effect.

This sound file is located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Enterbrain\RGSS3\RPGVXAce\Audio\SE", or wherever you installed the RTP.

This will affect any game that uses the VX Ace RTP, so I would recommend first renaming the existing file from "Cursor1.ogg" to "Cursor1.ogg.old" rather than fully overwriting it. This will allow you to restore the original sound file by deleting the modified file and then restoring "Cursor1.ogg.old" back to "Cursor1.ogg", without needing to redownload/reinstall the VX Ace RTP again.

Only thing that bothers me about this game to this day is the loose ends. White Oni. The "dreams" and how the "Game" affects the real world. That there were no real world scenes with the other girls despite there being clear implications. And most of all is the fact that there's no ending where you just grab wife and go live in the other world. Instead you just go back to your drone office job, the other world's portal vanishes and MC is left unsatisfied if the ending dialogue is any indication. At least MYR and Mercenary's Adventure had plenty of peak happy endings but New Game felt like there's a last batch of content that was just... never made.

New Game feels like it has more story to tell. Sadly, the creator has moved onto other projects. I don't see the game having loose ends, just unfulfilled desires. Some mysteries are just mysteries without the specifics. I don't think the MC is left unsatisfied. MC was forced to take a vacation and shoulder the blame for his company's mistake. Rather than being honest with his wife, he hides his shame, pretends to be going to work, and hangs out at the arcade instead. If anything, he feels accomplished after finishing his journey and finds the motivation to keep going. It's not an ideal successful ending, but I think it suits the story.

Yeah fair enough. I mostly said unsatisfied because of the ending going essentially "Yeah, I went back to work. All went back to normal" and then right at the end another line goes "Ugh". But yeah the mysteries are the things that mildly annoy me. White Oni wasn't that big of a deal. But the Dragon Avatars notably make appearances in the real world. MC even mentions the air getting cooler when Ice Dragon helps him out when his AC gets busted. Even though it's "just a game". There's also the other real world girls. Yellow, Green and Blue, that notably get affected by their interactions with them in the "Mirror World". I guess it felt like it could have more. Like an ending where MC actually STAYS in the other world, maybe even taking Red with him. Still a peak game though. These are just small nagging little things.

i think you put the words on what i find so attractive in this game's story and esthetics, instead of reaching a fantastic climax, things are left unfinished, and the MC never became more than the man he starts as, it's a crushing banality that i felt everytime i went back to this arcade and back home every night, and the rough style of that city decor really sold that to me, the crowd noises, the quiet evenings in front of the MC's house, it feels like the dev was stylizing the banality he experienced in his own city, and that really speaks to me but i'm looking too deep into it.

I wish this game got a sequel or DLC to explore some of the ideas left unfinished, I am specially curious over the strong implication that the MC having sex with the virtual versions of the women he met in real life was affecting those women in the real world as well (The school girl mentioning some sort of dream she had but not explaining it further for example), that and the fate of the homunculus

Absolutely Phenomenal experience again from Takamakuran, spent so much time getting all 3 endings, shame you only learn the truth in the bad ending lol which is a hell of a lot of tough fights.

Crashed a lot even halfway through bosses, couldn't figure out why though? Also if anyone new jumps to the last page or just doesn't search the thread for it, ya fix the squares in the text boxes by setting to JAP Locale ( I use an emulator app)

Also just realized how criminially undersold his games are, buyin all 3, dosent seem like he has any support stuff setup besides a Patreon and his DLsite dosent accept money?
