Usually this method of preventing another pregancy only works for about half a year after giving birth. As soon as a woman got her period back, despite still having milk, she can get pregnant again. That's why often the next child comes 1 year after the first one. People think they might be safe to do it without protection, because they were for some time, but aren't any more.
Furthermore certain conditions have to be met, before this method works. In short a woman has to breastfeed at least every 4 hours and every 6 hours during night time. Giving complementary food to the baby as many do after a few months, might already ruin the effort.

So there might be a chance for Anna to become pregnant despite breastfeeding her child.
Btw how old is her baby by now? Do we know that? After all the story begins after her maternity leave has ended (only 3 months in the US, in many European countries way longer and it can be extended). Half a year after birth she should be fertile again...and this might very well just be the case by now at the beginning of the vn.

I don't understand why David had to be sick on his own wedding day? I have another theory that it was the old fox who got rid of Anna's father and took over his shares. This old fox was obsessed with Anna and called her Peach. This old fox tried to take advantage of the tragedy twice when her father Annie died. The first time, under the guise of consoling and hugging the crying Anna, he tried to molest her at her father's coffin. I don't know if Mother Anna noticed this in time and intervened? Yes he must have seen her showering or changing like: making up some excuse to see her since he was so close to the family hmm but he must have failed in his plan to get her very drunk it's pretty evident he put some something in David's food but his plan failed because of it.
He must have exaggerated the dose the old fox must have thought a lot with his head down that must have helped his fault yes I think her father already knew about the desires that the friend had for his daughter speaking of which it would be good to see some flashbacks of that part specific so that we have concrete proof if Ana's old man died naturally or someone planned it. I just know that this whole story is very strange that Mr. Stenstromber managed to pass Hank's perversion levels by the way he is much worse than Marvin. Even though he's a desperate old pervert, he's not as bad as this old fox.
