Disagree on the realism part, agree on the rest.
Again, whatever semblance of realism that can be had in what is a dumb porn story is ideal, IMO. Without that it's just one of those shitty VNs where nothing makes sense and characters are moving from space to a castle to a high school and shit, lol. Those are everywhere and they suck.
A story is a story. Porn or not it should make some level of consistent sense. Is it dumb and illogical? Sure. It's a dunbass porn story. Can and should characters behave with consistency and some level of basic logic/sense? Absolutely. Without it you have absolute dogshit and then you may as well jack off to a cave drawing, lol. If some level of sense and realism doesn't matter, this is all pointless for someone like myself that isn't in it 100% to jackoff. I actually do read these things for some story...even if just a bit lol.
Jokes aside, you can't really state the problems you state and then also claim it doesn't matter. If it doesn't matter yoy shouldn't give a shit and if you don't give a shit you don't post and if you don't post...etc. To some small degree realism/logic/consistency matters in a story. Even a dunbass porn story.
I'm also not as tough on this dev as some seem to be but every dev will have those that think everything is wrong or being messed up. Sadly, they are often right. I don't think this dev is doing a bad job except maybe release times getting a bit longer and some minor inconsistencies in behavior.
See you can say that it's like erotic movie...have you seen movies like umm let's say director tinto brass movies??? My opinion if JOHN wasn't so slow it would be the perfect template for these games. Choices in the right places no forced events still keeping the story in play giving the player no unnecessary surprises.

Lingerie scene was underwhelming, it was hyped up then splat. She tryed on 3 outfits, no Jake peeking no jake showing no self touching nothing. Just is my butt thick. Lingerie was the moment to change Jakes trajectory.

I've turned my nose at what others have said that in VN adult games there is "Porn logic." And that logic solves plot issues, realism problems, and negates plausibility. The whole "Porn Logic" describes at least 80% of all VN adult games... it boils down to just being porn, just like what one finds on PornHub.
However, each game whatever its about is a standalone product and rises and falls on its own merits. Here with APM we discuss the game because we have an interest in it. So what is Mr. Palmer's project?
First of all, can we all agree that APM's story is a complex web of plots grounded in realism? I'd like to think of AMP as a perfect storm of implausible events made plausible.
Each element in the story has its own low order of probability of occurring in the real world. Kendra, a psychopath (plenty of them) just happens to stumble across the ghost of a failed relationship discovering David married Anna {small world}. Already Kendra was jealous of Anna (sex goddess) who got a promotion Kendra thought she deserved. Fate? Worst, Kendra is a dangerous psychopath and acts on her impulses.
How likely is it that there are a lot of Annas out there? Traumatized by her past but an overbearing, tyrannical father demanding perfection and success where she lived in both love and fear of her father. Add to the luck factor, Anna is a goddess with brains who is slightly over sexual. Compound normal desires like having a large family, wants intimacy from her husband and currently in an above normal hormone state, she has issues of a repressed libido and desperate need for attention/validation and most likely has inner security issues. And she just happens to marry a David. Yes, I am not saying David as in the character, but a david as a term-- we all have discussed who and what David is that makes him a david. The rest of the male characters are common POS found throughout the world.
All these elements have come together to make AMP.
Mr. Palmer doesn't need the "Porn Logic" of a lusty wife going around satisfying her own needs outside of her marriage. Instead, MP relies on an emotionally flawed woman who is ill-equipped to deal with the worst society has to offer. Now some "Porn Logic" is filtering into the game with the whole Cock worship theme, and maybe a few more will slip into the overall plot with BJs, HJs, TJs, and ass play being handed out like Halloween candy, but it hasn't happened-yet. Further MP is following real life progression, unlike another favor VN character Sophia (AWAM), by L&P.
Some might argue MP's scene of Anna giving Chris a BJ as MP introducing that age old theme for a future of a whole lollipop feast down the road... others can also argue (at this point) that it was an act of spite on Anna's part because of how hurt she is that David got one from a woman Anna considers prettier, and younger than her. Guess we will have to see. Yes, I've said that whole Showering with Chris update could have had a better timing, action, and consequence sequence. I said the HJ should have occurred the night before the shower when Chris first groped Anna (suggested, Chris to have arrived earlier for pizza night long before David gets home) and suggested ear/neck/collarbone kissing and petting of Anna's kitty--with the shower scene just being one of Anna stunned and rethinking as well as rationalizing the events of the night before. But that is just me and my idea how it all should have gone down. And just perhaps it might have made the whole BJ in the car with Chris a little more plausible as a nature escalation of the relationship... but how it all turned out still works well.
Last, the need of "Porn Logic" plot fixes was totally thrown out with the coffee break room with Timothy and Dale. From the beginning the whole story lacked the "how" Anna and Marvin would get together... and why maybe eventually Grant too. I see it as not the "who", but the "what" that arouses Anna and the "why". Recapping Anna didn't really know Timothy/Dale, hadn't any time to appraise either of them, and were nearly complete strangers, but Timothy and Dale put Anna in an aroused state and Anna's arousal has greater control over her than normal women--be it the excitement men desire her, gives her the attention/validation she craves, is a possible outlet to her sexual desires, and impulse control problems explaining the why. Add up the events of Anna teasing Marvin with her cleavage, thigh rubbing at the bar and ass grope at the swimming pool and Timothy/Dale it makes sense.

I keep hearing the term Porn Logic. Does it really pertain to this game. Porn is 95%sex 5%story. this game is 5%softcore 95%story. So can this really be classified as porn. Even if they add sex still feels like a R rated possibly NC-17 venture.

Actually with APM it's not so much a thing this "porn logic." It's not really needed at this point to use as a work around. It's a story that leads to sex... rather than sex leading into a story, like 80% other games out there, and why it stands out so much from other games.
Yes, it is a game with a world of unlikely events happening with specific personality traits that all come together. Just as winning the lottery... very unlikely of it happening but it does happen. The right mix of circumstances with it happening to the wrong type of people and you get a train wreck. At every turn, all these events could have avoided.
It starts with David getting friendly with Alexia. Nothing wrong with that. But had David worried his wife Anna might get jealous or not like it, should have been David's first concern... but a young and attractive woman giving some innocent attention is an ego boost even if David had no intentions of cheating on Anna... BUT... how likely is that simple interaction is caused by a raging psychopath hell bent on destruction is behind it all? As unlikely as having a psychopath setting into motion a wicked plan is, it just happens to involve David... a clueless idiot basking in the attention of a pretty lady he meets at a gym.
Then there is Anna, a wife and mother, loyal more to the institution of being married than the person whom she married. So long as Anna could hold on to her loyalty to the fact, she is married all is right in her world. Add that David isn't very talented to please Anna physically (some women place a lot of importance on that aspect), but in terms of the marriage it was good enough to remain faithful. Now is it Anna's fault she chose David who is lacking in so many ways? No it's not. She sold to herself that David is a good man and he'd be enough for her. Likely as they grew older those defects in David would be more and more an issue for Anna... just as she is discovering them now.
So... the future of the game:
*All it has to do is remain consistent with the established character builds... the characters will act accordingly to their personality traits... human weakness and mistakes being part of it all
*It stays away from the stupid... Anna isn't going to give another character a tit job because it feels good but
do so to arouse the male because it excites her seeing him so aroused... just as how a BJ works in the real world; damn few women really get off on giving one for their pleasure.
*keep the plots real... Anna has certain motivations, triggers, weakness and strengths, desires, fears etc. But Anna is an evolving character and that is key. We are already seeing some of it with the Chris BJ. With David's plot lines he is going to do david things and only harsh reality can change is character like if ever he finds Chris cheating with Anna
*being totally strategic with new themes and how they are introduced... Timothy/Dale, something way out of the blue, that normally would have failed on its face, worked! It actually solved ongoing plot issues and address others in the future by the way how defined part of Anna's character... so if MP does introduce BBC or another trope that doesn't yet fit the storyline or characters, it has to be handed carefully or done in such away it keeps plausibility
*timing and pacing... perhaps one of the hardest elements to maintain... the whole Chris route is progressing just fine. Handling of Hank and the progression of Hank using daddy issues on Anna is working well...
*The really important aspect that will make or break the story is how all the pieces fit together and works off each other. Its why the first time Anna has penetrative sex is so important to the whole game... it's not important just who that will be but how it will affect the rest of the paths that come after it. So in a looping argument, who is first really does matter after all... a catch 22. Now as the parts working together is it a good idea to have Robinson/Chris getting in each other's way... should there be conflict between Jake and Marvin... does it really make sense that Marvin total bows to Kendra's will... all these loose pieces can add or subtract from the game
