We're venturing outside of our traditional writing style to try to find what works for people and what doesn't. While we're extremely proud of Avalon, it didn't meet our expectations in terms of popularity.

because the writing style in particular has a large share in a vn, at least in one that wants to tell a story and should not only serve as a quick fap.
I play VN because of the story behind it, if i'm looking for relief, there is simple porn, ..... or the wife ...
The following is not related to you now, but what use is it to have the most beautiful pictures and animations if the story behind them was poorly written or chased through an auto translator without any correction.
Some games are really unplayable because even with a lot of imagination you can't guess the meaning of the texts.
I found Avalon to be one of the most beautifully written stories and I am so sorry that the game was so undervalued and received too little support for you.
To be honest, I'm not sure if the reason was the writing style there.
I suspect, from experience with 2-3 other games, that for some people that was that difficult topic.
As soon as drugs, abuse or rape appear somewhere, you have already lost quite a number of possible customers here.
Many want not even deal with the story with such content.
A good example for this is the game by zoey.
In my eyes a great story, but with a heavy background.
It is amazing to read how many people write in the thread who have banned the game on the spot without actually testing it once.
But as I said, it's just my personal opinion.
You don't need to please me.
I also like your stories despite a few snippets of text that are annoying to me from time to time.
We hope you continue to enjoy our style of writing even as it does change and grow.
My only wish is that you don't change it too much, because instead of growing, I see a small step back.
