Moreover, if you read Marcus' letter TWICE and entered the hidden gameplay "mode" this way, you will realise that Frisha is Giron's daughter, later on.

Anyway, we'll need to wait for a new Frisha update quest, in other words till the end of the world, I guess.

My talent tips after playing over a hundred hours at v0.5.8.5b

MC:
Strength 8 (2 from cutting trees) = 10 enough for mining iron
Dexterity 18 (2 from helping Claire cut potato) = 20
Intelligence 0 (2 from reading, 2 from casting witchcraft spells after completing witchcraft quest) = 4
Constitution 18 (2 from farming) = 20 (**reach 10 asap over any other talents!)
Perception 1 (2 discovering after having 1 point) = 3
Hunting 2 (1 based point, 2 from hunting, 1 from Corven) = 6
Nature 0 (1 from Katherin, 1 discovering) = 2
Thievery 3 (1 from Bianca, 2 from lockpicking) = 6
Witchcraft 1 (1 from Sabrina, 2 from casting witchcraft spells) = 4
Weapon Mastery 0 (1 from Lyvia) = 1
Armor Proficiency 0 to 14 for requirements

Save leftover talents for future update.

Tia:
Strength 10, enough for cutting trees
Constitution 20 <priority
Nature 5 (for learning advanced recipe)
Armor Proficiency 14
Dex 20 < last
After Dex 20, pump strength and Armor to 20, but by then it'd be over level for the game anyway.

Lyvia:
Dexterity 20 <Priority
Perception 20 (seems to help MC's perception loot table, not perception check.)
Strength 20
Constitution 20 <Last

In general, dexterity is the best talent for dealing damage, due to how powerful critical hits are (300%? + ignore resistance?). Constitution is the best talent to survive the encounter, bcuz healing is based on health%. Lyvia comes with high hp, so pumping her Con is not that important. Tia's Taunt can help her survive if needed. Her job is mainly to deal AOE with her Sweeping Strike.

Speaking of Taunt, this skill has a few unwritten effects. It comes with damage reduction like the Defend skill, so it makes Defense a redundant buff if Tia casts both skills. Also, it can be override by effect, such as Mark Target. If an enemy casts Taunt, MC can cast Mark Target on him to break the enemy's Taunt.

Hunting doesn't increase bow damage, (or if it does, it's not noticeable, based on my testing). Strength seems to be the talent to boost bow damage. Its main purpose is to learn new bow skills: Pin Shot (7), Poisoned Arrow (9), Double Shot (10). Tbh, I find them not good enough to sacrifice 4 more talent points to learn. Poisoned Arrow is probably the only good one. Plus, once MC learns to use sword, he can equip Gritwail, which comes with Massacre skill that's basically Lyvia's Sweep Strike (AOE hit 3 times), it outclasses all these skills.

Anyways, that's my talent build.

Seeing as the mc is on his way to ousting both the baron and his moronic son, it is doubtful the dev will create an entire new storyline just for cuck lovers.

Too much work for too little an audience. In my honest opinion, just see the cuck path as non-canon and enjoy the game for what it is.

Eventually the dev will need to prioritize one of the storylines as they continue to diverge more and more.

Otherwise he will essentially be creating two games, and at any given time half of his fanbase will be bitching at him that they despise the stuff he is working on.

Either go full ntr or not, one or the other, but not both.

Once the chicken coop is built, the Traps to catch Rabbits and Rats can catch Chickens too.

The coop can house only 12 animals. Catch a rooster and an hen to reproduce the chickens.

You can kill the chickens to get some materials and meat, but only Emily can cook the Chicken Breasts.

You can't get eggs yet.

Something Matiur13 forgot to mention is that to unlock the traps you need to talk to Corven at his camp (in the ruins) with hunting talent at 5+ and ask him to teach you stuff (repeat multiple times if he never taught you anything).
If Corven doesn't want to talk to you, you need to buy him a beer at the inn on monday evening first, he sits on the stool next to the wall at the bar.

wouldn't that require the MC to be re-rendered in every single event in the game to possibly be wearing the new clothes?
doubling the game's size and requiring ridiculously high amount of work for something that, in general, is a very low priority/value?

If an outfit redesign would be made, it would be in a sequel.

Android Version And Progress On Penny's Update

Good afternoon,
the new month just started and I want to give you a review on what I did over the past days.

As mentioned in my last report, I continued work on the Android version of the game this week. I added an extra plugin for the overlay, which is similar to a gamepad. Originally my idea was to have both touch and pad controls active side by side. similar to the pc where you can play with both the mouse and the arrow keys/wasd. But after testing the whole thing on the smartphone, I realized that it doesn't work that way. The game then sees clicks on the gamepad as clicks on the map, causing the character to run wildly through the area when you want to use the pad. For this reason, I added a toggle function that makes it possible to activate either one or the other control.
So far so good, but the real problem with the android version was the porting of the game into an .apk file (the one that you download to your phone, click and bam you have the playable app). This process is partly documented in some forums, but it requires some outdated scripts, which don't work together if you don't use the right version. In the end this meant a lot of try and error for me. So it took until Wednesday evening until I actually had a working version on my smartphone.

And even if I think the controls on the smartphone are rather wanky and I would always prefer the pc version, I know that some people don't have a pc. So for them (who find the maldives emulator too complicated to use) there is finally a version of the game that they can play.
However, I have not carried out any in-depth tests. I just didn't have enough time this week. I also don't plan to edit all game messages like "you can press key M to open the map". However I plan to update the android version now with every update and if it doesn't mean too much work I will most likely optimize it a bit in the future. But the main focus will remain to work and release the game for the PC, so don't expect of me that I will go full android optimization mode!

I originally wanted to release the android version together with the next update of the game, however since I now uploaded a testversion anyway I might as well give you all access to it to get some more feedback. Please still keep in mind what I said in the paragraph above.

Now back to Penny's update:
I continued working on that yesterday morning and I began with working on some 3d rooms for new scenes as well as some sprites that were still missing. Today I than also worked on the dialog with Giron about Penny's options to get more income.
I don't want to spoil my ideas for the story just yet, which is why I'm keeping it a little vague, but it will have to do with the new map that I made to the SE of Arenfield. I also plan to enable hiering workers from the Coldstone family that will then work on the field for you. Another thing that I want to add is Giron actually collecting taxes from Penny regularly which will result in regular visits from Dave at Penny's house. Depending on route you can then deal with this problem.
And yeah there is of course the Penny lake scene (That I teased last month) which I also want to work on this month and some interaction with the Coldstone family.
So a lot to do this month. I hope by the end of it Penny's update will be complete.
For now I'll continue working a little bit longer before it's finally weekend.
