Peasant's Quest is mostly an open world, but a lot of the quests, especially early on are linear. Like only one quest at a time will advance your game. LI's will be on pregnancy day 20 for 30 days because you haven't finished this other quest that allows her to give birth. (Shakala can get pregnant before Frida, but Shakala won't give birth until after Frida, Frida won't give birth until Erevi's kid is old enough to want to go out.)

This means with PQ, you can start at the begging of the walkthrough, and go straight to the end. Of the 180 quests 40 are main quests, 140 are side quests.

A Struggle With Sin isn't like that. You can totally meet a chick, and be like I will concentrate on her and in a lot of instances be able to complete her quest.

Which means the walkthrough needs to be structured like it is, so that if you want to fuck Julia, you can go straight to her section to see how you do it. The game is no linear, so the walkthrough is non linear. Of the almost 90 quests, eight are main, 11 are side, and 63 are "character quests".

You can't really go wrong with which direction you want to go, often you will find you have to complete something else to be able to do what you want to do, but that is most games / things in life.

The open nature of ASWS is why it is my all time favorite game I have watched be developed here, PQ is a definitely not as good, but is definitely my second favorite.

If you aren't enjoying ASWS then don't play it, but also don't stress about it. Part of the fun of ASWS is figuring out what order you have to talk / do something to make something else happen.

If you do still play and are running into a wall, just mention it here. Someone tell you their experience with it.

I didn't say I didn't like this game. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here asking how to play it correctly. Since English is not my native language, the translations in the game may not be accurate. I can't just rely on the task descriptions in the game to play. So I do need a guide to play the game. Otherwise, I will feel confused and have language barriers, which can't be completely eliminated. Of course, I can't compare with you native English speakers. I will try my best to ask you questions. Since we have started, I will keep playing. I'm not the kind of person who gives up easily. Both of these games have their own strengths and weaknesses. There's no need to criticize one and praise the other. Objectively speaking, they are both good games. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

The blue bars are something like a Characters main Talents, giving you a hint on what you should Level for what Character.
The Orage Bars are any other Talents that can optionally be Leveled.
Talents don't deteriote perse, but after eating a meal you gain a temporary boost to some Talents, which can be lost after x-steps

As far as the Orange and Blue, I have no idea, I don't think I have ever noticed that. I had typed up a bit about my guessing that it was fighter class related, but I asked in the Discord and got an answer about ten minutes later from Chyos. I didn't even tagged him, impressed with the fast reply. Which was:

"you had the right guess, it is because of class related attributes. however when I originally set them up I didn't go into deep settings with all classes. so this means for the hunter I did it, for the others I pretty mutch patched it together so that it works (because on existing saves you can't change the main attributes without breaking saves). Something I should probably put on my to do list for the next savebreaking update (in the far future).

As far as deterioration your talents don't deteriorate, ever. I am wondering what has led you to think that they do? They are just ways to strengthen each party member, that's why you spend them. Like a lot of RPG's when you level up, you get a skill / talent point to spend to customize your character. Talent points spent never go away.

(Yes, some quests require to level certain talents to complete the quest.)




Thank you so much for the reply and clarification as for the deterioation question its because at certain times i've notice when playing that at the bottom of the screen there would be a prompt saying that one of my skills/ talents would lose a level so i assumed that if i didnt use them they would go down over time.For example , dexteriety going down , hunting and so on I saw another reply earlier and according to him the reason for this is that there is a temporary talent buff because of food hence why sometimes these skills go down and it helped me clarified why this phenomenon would happen

There are actually two different things happening that you are seeing.

First, eating some meals you give you a constitution buff, after a certain amount of steps you lose it . That is what happens when you see the "constitution" notification.

You may have noticed that in some battles are on the menu screen you will see a stomach icon. When that is there you have the constitution buff.

Second, you are seeing another former of leveling. If you hunt a deer, you will see something like "Hunting 11/20" each time you see it you are actually gaining an experience point towards leveling up. Next time you hunt, it will be "12/20" once you get to "20" it levels up. There are a few other talents that have that, like auto-killing orcs gets you witchcraft experience.

Last update that involved Helena (the Queen) was v0.5.9.6 (Winterhowl Special 2024), but that was just one threesome with her and Yasmine. If that was the update you last played, just look at the changelogs in the op since v0.5.9.6.

Before that update the last Helena was quite awhile ago.

Does anyone else have an issue getting the potion for Umah?
When going to the fountain it used to have the choice to get the potion.
This version it only says Cleanse...

Buffs are applied if any of the girls cooks for MC not inventory Items being consumed.
And each meal has a different effect, for example Pennys dinner raises constitution by +2 Emily gives a Bonus to strength as far as I recall and Anya to dexterity (haven't checked with the last 2 recently so more of a gues, but it's still a fact that different meals add different buffs)
