Katherin is a typo
You are cute when you are mad and obsessed. Look at you wishing that I gave a fuck about you, while you desperately look for something that gives you the chance to address me.I consider you my personal fan.
So much waste of time
Are you sure you loaded the right save? I didn't run into that issue, nothing reset. None of the subscribers reported that issue either, and most folks imported saves from older updates. Were some quest progresses reset with this update? Because the last time I played, I'd already finished all the buildings in Darkholt and was in charge there, and I'd already finished with the demon at the church in the monestary, but now it's like I never did anything there. Was it reset intentionally or is this a bug? I really hated the minigame deconstructing those buildings (I sucked at Tetris) and don't really want to deal with those again.
Yeah, I imported the saves from the previous version I played (0.6.1.1.b), over 100 hours of playtime. Are you sure you loaded the right save? I didn't run into that issue, nothing reset. None of the subscribers reported that issue either, and most folks imported saves from older updates.
Okay, recopied the saves from the previous version and overwrote the previously imported saves, loaded it up and it worked this time. I probably copied from the wrong version. Weirdly the game version listed on the save file says 0.6.1.0c, even if I overwrite it while playing the latest version. Are you sure you loaded the right save? The version listed when you load the save always shows the version they were created under, it doesn't effect anything, just the way it is. If create a new game, it would show v0.6.1.5. Content isn't limited, just a label.Okay, recopied the saves from the previous version and overwrote the previously imported saves, loaded it up and it worked this time. From what you can see in my game, it's September. Now in "rl" it's December, so there should be snow, because in our real calendar, it's December. The game gives us two ways to see this change. The first is with the in-game calendar. And the second is with the real one. But as you can see in my game, the Christmas event has started, but the snow hasn't fallen. So either it's a bug. Or did Chyos mess with something in the last two versions of the game, disabling this option? ( I also tried with the old version v0.6.1.1b and nothing there either.) But seeing as it's already snowing in your game, it means either snow falls in the game around October. Or it's actually because we're in December in the real month. So my save is bugged? Or is there something disabled?
By the way, you also have the Halloween event active. I think it's due to the month of October in the game.
I don't know if it can be useful to you, this is my save, it should be the 22, which in the game is the 23, since the autosave takes the number 1
Thank you
Was added in v0.6.1.1, she doesn't get a belly or give birth yet. But that will likely be added later this year since Tia is likely going to win the v0.6.3.0 polling.Wait Katherin can get pregnant now? She has a fertilization scene that wasn't there before.
There isn't anything to do in any of them, but they are the gate to get into Kirlic, inside Kirlic proper, inside "The Old Goose" (bar in Kirlic).According to changelog it says 3 new maps. Does anyone knows which are these 3 new maps?
So this update was the introduction to kirlic and the next will be a sabrina update along with winterhowl, wish it continued to in kirlic, but it is what it is.Winterhowl Progress Update
Good afternoon,
It is getting dark outside once again, which means the week is almost over and it's time for another weekly update.
On Monday, I started by fixing remaining issues from the 0.6.1.5 update. I had already begun working on those last week, but since the fixes turned out to be more extensive than expected, and additional bug reports from before the update came in as well, it took almost all of Monday to resolve them.
On Tuesday, I then fully started working on the Sabrina scene. Of course, the most complex option out of all the choices ended up winning.
I was initially unsure whether I should even include it as an option, since I knew I could not implement it properly without adding additional context first. However, since it received the second-highest number of votes last year, I felt it was only fair to offer it again.
I began by updating Sabrina’s skin texture, which I had last worked on years ago, to bring it in line with the quality of other female characters. After that, it was necessary to rework her dialogue images, as many facial expressions were missing and I also wanted a consistent look with the new dialogue images I created for her winter outfit. I also created a new sprite set for that outfit.
That covers the graphical preparation. Next came the story context. I started by having Sabrina properly introduce herself to Athia. After all, the two had only met once before, and not under particularly good circumstances.
Once that event was written, including four slightly different dialogue variations depending on whether the player rebelled against Gwen and whether Sabrina drank a certain potion or not, I moved on to working on another small scene with Sarbina, that I felt was necessary to add to make a conection for the winterhowl scene. I worked on that scene until just recently, editing images, rendering backgrounds, and writing dialogue. But it is still not completely finished. I hope to complete it in the coming hours before the day is over.
Which means that I have not even started working on the actual Christmas scene yet. That is a problem, because next week I realistically only have two full workdays. From the 24th until the end of the week, I will be spending time with my family and don't plan to work during that time.
I am therefore currently considering how I can still release something next week. What is certain is that the complete scene will only be finished in the week after Christmas. Unfortunately, that cannot be avoided due to the scope of the scene and the lack of prior context, that I now added.
However, I could at least release this first scene, which is nearly finished now, by Tuesday evening, together with a few smaller adjustments and additions. That would result in a reasonably rounded update, and I could then add the remaining part in the week after Christmas. It would certainly make me sleep better if I knew I released at least something in time for the holidays.
I assume that for many of you today was already the last working day before the holidays, so I would like to wish you all happy holidays and some well-deserved time to rest and celebrate!
And of course, I wish you all
a nice weekend!
Great, at least now we know that snow isn't tied to the Christmas event, but only falls if it's winter or a cold month in the game (so only the in-game calendar). Our calendar and the in-game calendar only trigger their respective events, such as Christmas, Halloween, Easter, or other similar events. Apparently, my memories of snow and Christmas matched a month from October onward in the game. Perhaps in my later games, I always ended up coinciding with both events (weather and holidays). Thanks for testing this.First, yeah in my play through I already killed the Ancient One (October event).
Secondly, I did just learn that snow isn't a real life December thing in the game. Events are effected by both calendars (mysterious eggs, pumpkins, winterhowl), but the weather outside is dependent on the in-game calendar ONLY.
December events are active in your save, from the point it loads in the garden next to the queen, I ran up here to by Corven's to look. This tree tells me all Winterhowl events are active. The snow here is the only place I found it with your save in September.

If you cut that tree down, Krampus will spawn:

Then I just skipped 20 days using your save to get to October. You'll see snow when you get to October in-game. (That quest is active because I loaded your save using v0.6.1.5, entering Arenfield automatically activates it if you have already read Marcus's letter. Check the stats, it's your save.)

Here, I predict a year and a half from now Chyos will still not have gotten done with his current update that he wishes he got done.So this update was the introduction to kirlic and the next will be a sabrina update along with winterhowl, wish it continued to in kirlic, but it is what it is.
One thing I've noticed, and I'll probably be labeled a "hater" here or whatever despite me liking the game and liking chyos, but he desperately needs to get better at time management, maybe my perception is skewed, but it seems like every update a portion of it is him justifying why the update will either take longer or have to be chopped up to meet the deadline.
I don't expect updates to be meet the deadline every time, especially around this time of the year, but this seems like a constant issue in my eyes.
Search thread for "saddle".I have a quest to repair a saddle, but there is no saddle item in the workbench.
I have given chyos money and more than once actually, but not every time, so I don't care about being accused of stealing or not everyone on this forum has done it, it's a pointless moral argument to make from a thief to another. In my opinion, he should set more realistic goals for himself, but I understand it's not always possible. Here, I predict a year and a half from now Chyos will still not have gotten done with his current update that he wishes he got done.
If you choose to be upset by that, you are guilty of the very same thing you are upset at him for doing. (Using the same inputs, expecting a different outcome.)
Scheduling creative projects is next to impossible. Have you ever made art? Just because you strap in and want to work, doesn't mean the quality arting happens.
Every week Chyos is responsible for reporting to us subscribers on how he used his time, that also isn't an easy task. Have you ever done that? Written a progress report on how you did your job, every week?
I would much rather support an artist that aims at targets just out of their reach, and miss every single time. Then support someone that only aims at easy to reach goals in order to always accomplish them.
Unless you are deciding whether or not to give Chyos real money, complaining about a project you are stealing is being a "hater". I get it, you want new updates, because you like the game, but remember a real person, trying hard has their livelihood effected by folks discouraging folks from supporting their work.
