I think that line can be interpreted in two ways:
1 - Your mom knows it's you and she accidentally calls you "dear" and stuff because she's a bad liar.
2 - She doesn't know it's you and just naturally has a motherly personality.

I guess they're waiting for a bugfix build so they don't have hordes of people coming onto the forum complaining about the same four bugs again and again.
If the request thread has been created, don't spam begging for the update, the sole reason mods gets pissed and release the kraken upon the thread.
