It's whether you need a walkthrough or not, some do, some dont. As for the game, it's pretty basic and linear currently. There is a quest tracker on the phone which tells you what to do, so there isn't much to it.

If you're using a save from a previous version, you can use the computer and click on 'Bug Testing Fail Safe', click on 'Mom' and use 'Manually enter a Chapter Number'. You want number 22, then follow the instructions on your phone and it should work out. I used this method to see the new scenes by progressing the story from that point.
