I think that he emphasized more in the game size, as I remember he did some projections to the future size of the game and he concluded that it would be very huge. I hope I'm not mixing the answer of another dev.

About the rendering time he responded that he doesn't do automatic renders, for example, while he is sleeping. So, I don't know if he has more PC's rendering at the same time when he uses another one.

I don't render the scenes automatically. Just letting it run while sleeping isn't! Before rendering I'm adjusting every single scene! Alone the lighting setting is different with every point of view especially with the style I'm using with my next update!

AWAM is now 2.65gb(?) and BAIDK is 8GB
Of course, in the BAIDK game there will be problems in the future with Mega and other load services if DPC to continue this way.

Yes, he did. As far as I remember, he said that it would take more rendering time and that the size of the game is huge already, so he prefers not to do it. I believe that someone shared a response from patreon.

If I'm honest the increment in game size sounds like an excuse. This other dev, recreation, produces 1080p renders and his game Bad Memories is not that heavy.

That 1080p image only weights 331kb. It's a matter of compress the images properly. But I'm not interested in 1080p, the rendering time would increase significantly, so, even slower updating time.

Both games started as RPGM games, then switched to Ren'Py. Both are female protagonist corruption games, very different stories but also very similar. Both games have tons of renders just for story telling and extremely detailed renders tor this type of games. AWAM has a more realistic approach with more VN style, FB is more like a parody sandbox VN game.

L&P works like a turtle, very slow releases, keeping no promises, hiring no one. Obsessed with so called perfection, tinkering and wasting time on very unnecessary details and scenes.

DM works like a machine, releases regularly and more frequently, with render amounts that would put any developer to shame including L&P. He also is obsessed with perfected renders and details while actually providing logical and useful scenes.

One thinks he/she is a James Cameron, other one actually acts like James Cameron.

So think very carefully before supporting, compare both games and see what can be done right and what can be done so wrong. One has a great future, other one has a dark future drown in obsession and self worshipping.

There is no new information on the Sam event other than what we know already.
As for Sophia having straight sex(full sex)I really don't see that happening for a good while,foreplay yea sure, but I think that will be it for now unless you are right in thinking that L&P has moved the story forward.
As for Sophia having full sex with a male I am more curious as to who it could be with than the actual event it self.

As some people have already said, he really needs an editor to cut some of the content. Even with the « mains characters » . If you play the Sam route, what was the point of his scene in the last update? What was there that advanced their relationship? Nothing. We learn that he likes to peep on Sophia. Nothing new. That she like to tease him and that she doesn’t mind. Nothing new. That he’s obsessed about her. Nothing new. That he dreams about her ? We already know that he has some problems sleeping but know we know that he’s subconsciously obsessed about her. That’s not really much. On the sexual side, he massage her back, shoulders and arms. She’s in a bikini and her nipples get hard. Nothing new and I would say even a regression. All this event could have been condensed. Like this: Sam call Sophia (he has her number), he talk about his upcoming concert, and invite her and would gladly drive her now that he has his license and a car. It was not the biggest of event, but even there he can win some time.

We even have moments that backslide, like Sophia asking Dylan to turn around when she gets changed even though he's seen her in bikinis, lingerie, and has even seen her tits. Instead, she should have allowed him to look which shows that a wall has come down and that she's comfortable with him being in the room which moves their relationship forwards, not backwards.

L&P is getting too bogged down in the slow build-up and the fact is that Sophia seems more than ready to starting taking big steps in her relationships with characters like Dylan, Ellie, Patricia, and Sam, and we don't need to wait until we're into Day 22 or anything like that for something major to happen.

That scene was so stupid I just rolled my eyes. Made no sense. We're gonna keep having these kind of scenes until he cant squeeze the tit anymore.

Not going go through and quote a variety of things but will post a note on some things.

1) The point of the Sam scene in the last update is another step towards Sophia's corruption into having sex, doesn't mean it's Sam, it could be anyone. Also, has been a peeping theme with Sam throughout AWAM, been 3 scenes in total so clearly, Sam is a voyeur and each scene tracks with who Sam is.

2) Promises L&P made, the problem isn't the promises he made and not doing them, the problem is he made the promises and didn't cover himself by posting a disclaimer, which I think should be obvious to people complaining. "This is what am thinking and planning today, but we shall see how things go when we reach that time, I may find it wouldn't be AWAM's or my own benefit to do this, but I promise to do something special."

Some better explanations from L&P would help for sure but things do change, that happens with pretty much every business or creative project, so don't think L&P can be really blamed for doing the same that most people/businesses do.

3) Lack of updates, I have always been against this argument and I still am, however, someone posted a while ago that there should be 5 updates per year, wish I could remember who it was but I agreed with that, I would lean more towards 4 per year. So yeah possible there only be 2/3 and I do find that difficult to defend, I would prefer an update every month but the end of the day, I don't support this VN so I'll take what I can get each year.

4) Lack of sex scene, eventually a sex scene is going to happen and I rather focus on what it could be instead of when it would be. Whenever it happens, I think it will be awesome. I think it's closer than people think but I could be wrong, still a lot of really cool erotic scenes in AWAM though.

Because you need to split data in a modular way (as in separate archives, so you don't need to download one 2.6gb file, just few mb with the new files), and add renpy upload and sync functionality, that automates the download and controls allowed users with password.

If your main fetish is realistic daily life approach of corrupting a girl/woman and if you don't mind "real porn" usage as the art of a game, then check Girl Life by Kevin Smarts. But it's not a VN, it's a sandbox/open world simulation game where you shape the character's future.

It has mostly very good immersive writing with gigantic amount of content. I was avoiding "real porn" games like a plague until trying Girl Life. Most of the image usages are very good and consistent for a "real porn" game.
