Anybody knows which render they use? I heard there are a lot of online render farms that provide 50 times faster rendering than a single pc. Not for free of course, but not expensive either

He renders on his own PC (perhaps a second PC, I'm not sure), but he's upgraded it significantly since he started, so the last 20% won't take long.

Well, if it's about 250 scenes ~2 hours each then it'll take 500 hours which is 3 weeks 24/7 rendering. Using farms that could be completed in 10 hours.. And about 20 bucks. Huge difference. Or I missed something
This is the game that got me into this whole sex VN...stumbled upon it in pornhub of all places. But many of you are holding out too much hope for this story. This Dev takes WAY to long to release updates, and lets be honest...this is a step or two beyond slow burn. The memes and other devs putting this game into theirs to make fun of the sexlessness of this game are justified.

I think the update after the next update is going to be an amazing one, the next update is going to be full of lesbian softcore garbage.
I don't think AWAM has a story at all.
When you look at DPC's AL or MK's VIS, they have a story and there are some more games with an actual story.
Games like AWAM dont't have/need any story. We just follow sophia in her routine life and see how she falls slowly into the world of infidelity. Thats it.
But the good character development, the details in the enviroment in every single render, the hot female characters are some things that brings me one step closer to feel like a real world game.
I cannot speak for everybody but I do know some regular followers of this game and I know from what I've seen from all these years that they are not holding their hopes high.
And most of the followers of this game have admitted their problem with slow updates. Its just that some people are blindfolded by hatred that they don't see this.
Some people gets frustrated about this slow updates and they act it out with hatred. Some among these haters are the devs trying to make fun of this game in their own game, in the process, they failed to create an identity to their own game.
The last update was in April. It has been 4 months so far and the update is expected in September. So it is going to be 5 months in total.He took 6 months for this update.

Last update was mid-April, as Mr.Gamer said. Worst case scenario and he's a little late will be mid-September. That's only 5 months, not 6. If, as he stated, he's finished CS by the end of the weekend, and it's only a Liam event, so probably not much will happen, so there's little chance of the event bloat we've seen with the big events so far. PS and PT usually takes around 2 weeks, and since that's 3 weeks away, a release by the end of the month/start of next is entirely reasonable.He took 6 months for this update.

BTW, I don't pay him either, but I'm a scientist by profession, so evidence and being able to back up what I say with links is a thing I do. Your estimate of a November release came with no rationale or evidence whatsoever.

I'm curious, why are you so hard with AWAM and so flexible with JOHN? Stoper takes even more time than L&P, considering the number of renders. Is it because the differences in earnings? Do you consider that JOHN is better? Why? I'm fan of both VNs.
I would disagree slightly here. In a corruption game with choices then corrupt options only have real meaning if there's an alternative. Lots of games solve that by giving you game over and or having no content behind the other choices.
I don't think there should be a huge amount of development behind the "good" choices but is much better for there to be something coherent there that you can play through and compare against, it gives you a checkpoint for how far the character has fallen.
This time next year...or two updates from now...we MIGHT see some results from the corruption path. But the strait path...sheesh, I'm not even sure why it's a part of the game.

Do you mean the straight GW route? Yeah, even I don't see the point in that. The main reason I play the GW route is to get it on with either Nathalie or Vicky. It used to be Alyssa and Emma as well, but they moved to the Aiden route. And there's the pure adorableness of Ellie and Julie together, which may be possible on the GW route.
But as many have said a lot recently, if you're expecting a "pay-off" in terms of sex scenes on the Filthy route, best come back in a couple of years, probably at least 5, more likely 10. There'll be plenty of hot scenes in the meantime, it just most likely wont be sex.
I know u guys are assuming the date of release,but don't give the developer a chance to delay it even more.I know some of you will say he will release once he finishes but who know the real deal. Im playing this game from the start it has very good renders and plots he's not a script writer I appreciate his writing skills and hope ver0.1 will be the start of everything and in next update will see more action than a tease

stoper is more transparent in his communications, even on discord he is very cordial in giving explanations of what is happening, on speed they are not on the same level; the number of renderings does not serve to quantify the development of the story, each update of JOHN always has good content and development of the story; here we always have little or nothing.
also the renders of stoper seem better to me and there are many more animations.
I also don't like L&P when it doesn't keep its promises; he says he goes to 1440p then denies it, says he seeks help then says it won't help him.

then we are talking about advertising, the teaser that come out are used to market the product; why doesn't L&P want them to be shared? don't want to lose more money?

Not me. My focus is on advancing the Dylan/Sophia, Dylan/Ellie, Ellie/Sophia, Ellie/Julia, Sophia/Patricia, and possibly Ellie/Patricia routes. If not for the fact that pursuing the Ellie/Julia and Ellie/Sophia content locks out Sophia/Alyssa, I'd be very much interested in that too, but alas I cannot and so my focus is solely on these other ones.
The rendering of these scenes isn't what takes the longest amount of time, especially if you have a good high-spec rendering machine, it's posing, lighting, and general set design that takes the most amount of time. So even if L&P used a render farm, it wouldn't speed anything up that significantly.
I'm starting to get really sick and tired of seeing so much anti-lesbian content BS, and not just in this thread, but also in the threads for Dating My Daughter and Jessica O'Neil.
Guys like watching lesbians because it's hot to see two sexy women going at it, so that's why this game has it and why it leans very heavily on it. Just because it's not your thing does not mean you get to kink-shame others.
