Funny thought lol.... what if actually there's no brother at all?
Under the pretext of a twin brother, it's actually Morello himself the one who laid eyes on Sophia. With his connections it wouldnt be so complicate to get a conjugal visits room in a local prison facility and pretend to be "the brother"....

Morello is a handsome guy, styled, knows his way with the women.... Plus would save Dev the effort of rendering and introducing a new character.
What if there is no brother at all? What if Dylan made a deal with Morello where he dresses up as an older man and pretends to be Morello's brother so Sophia will come and visit him all dolled up? :WeSmart:

Wow. I hadn't ever looked at this game until a couple days ago. I went through the whole thing and even without many sex scenes I think it's pretty good. Wish there were lesbian sex scenes. So many possibilities. Shocked this is a 3-year-old game. I guess it'll be quite some time until any actual lesbian sex content gets added...

I think what his brother there is ... Morello also said that "...he wasn't interested in sluts", which means that brother Morello had already offered a prostitute... but brother Morello wanted a clean woman... and it would end with Sophia being put under his brother...
There are many options, including your guess. But if we are closer to realism, then Liam and Sophia with the mafia boss can have big problems that are very far from romanticism ...
L&P is a subtle person, it gives us hints and hints. For example, Morello was talking about writing off all of Liam's debts, not just one debt! Sofia and many other players did not pay attention to this. And I think this is a very important aspect.

If the L&P shows us a mafia boss with a soft and fluffy dandelion, it will be a big disappointment.

See those Tags down the side? I've got a "Game Developer" on mine because I am now making my own Game having been inspired by the likes of L&P and Stoper who've been making much higher Quality Games than there were before. I only have a few Patrons so far myself but I will be eternally grateful to them as I have wisely invested in more and more DAZ Add On's that are making my Game look better and better each Update.

That's how it works here. Dev's Develop and Donors Donate and you lucky people then get Hero's putting these Games out here for Free so please show some respect to those Donors (and us Milking unworthy Devs who apparently don't work 24/7 on these Games) ;););)
What's your game called? I'll check it out

Its in his signature. And it has great promise. But to avoid advertising on another thread we should keep it to that.

As for AWAM, I have been thinking... I know such things can lead to scary places... However, I have noted that people are very tribal in their thoughts on the game. It's a shame really. I might not like most of the male characters but the story needs them to enrich the parts I do like. Even the lying cheating gambler husband is key. So I would like to propose we try to keep it civil about others' ideas. I know that we are all human and that makes us a bit opinionated but please think before posting.

I have said my peace often enough about Dylan, Liam, Sam, Morello, and others so I won't say more. Lets take a moment and appreciate what we do like about the game so that we also support L&P in crafting more of the game. Devs need positive input along side the negatives. Without pats on the back on occasions, it loses its appeal to work on projects like this.

Just my thought, and I'll say here and now that I find the courtship of Sophia/Ellie/Julia/Patricia rather entertaining and well paced. Remember the story only recently began game time wise.

Has been stated by L&P that Liam isn't cheating. He's just working long hours chasing a promotion, since afterwards he'll be earning something like 10x what he is currently. Funnily enough it wont be until a month after the deadline for his gambling debt is due.

To me, when reading through the scene with him in the clothing store, it is too suspicious that the poor daughter of his boss is looking for him when he beats feet out of there. Its the same with the claim of no blackmail is in the game when the entire Aiden and Mr. Bennet storylines are nothing but. Calling a spade a spade, a rose a rose, and damn the mumbling of not knowing English more than a second tongue.

I might be supportive of L&P in making of his game but some things written into it can't be spun as looking any other way. Sorry if that pisses people off, but the truth is in the pudding.

No doubt L&P has a reason for that too. But as far as I'm aware, Sophia doesn't believe he is cheating on her. Which is the main point, since if she did, she might have an excuse to cheat herself. But so far she doesn't.

Oh, and the expression is "the proof is in the pudding". It's the alliteration that makes the expression work.

LOL, true unless your talking about a king cake and the baby Jesus in it. Local joke on the old saying. Fell flat to an international audience I see and should have figured.

But as to my point, the wife is almost always the last to know. Sophia is in a turmoil state from the move, and then add in her family being already at the flying apart point, so she is missing how Liam truly is. As a recovering alcoholic, I can say it was as stupid a move on his part to go to a casino. I have to literally avoid even going down any path in grocery stores to keep from having cravings that will kill my near 20 years of sobriety. She missed that because she needs to believe her marriage is stable. Then there is the claim that they are in a real pinch financially where she is required to work more part time jobs, but he can up and sky off to a fancy fishing trip he supposedly has great catches from but comes home empty handed? The way he acts towards her when she comes to visit her at work, as if both ashamed of her and jealous in the same breath? She misses these clues because she mentally needs him to be a faithful anchor like most cheated on spouses whom are more or less decent sorts.

But Liam is cheating even if it is all in his own head and heart. He shows all the effing signs of it even if L&P doesn't mean to put it this way.

I'm a writer and just like my use of a local twist to proof in the pudding, sometimes others will see a different image from the words chosen. If the dev does not want people to see a cheater in Liam, he best damn well not write him playing as if he is. Just like when JK Rowling tries to make people like Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, or Severus Snape but the truth, or proof :geek: , is in the pudding of the words, phrases, scenes, and characterizations used make them anything but lovable good guys.

And alas here I am getting all tribal myself. I'll get off my own soapbox now and let others speak for a change.

Where do you get they're in a pinch financially? Precisely because of the long hours Liam works, they seem to be pretty good. Both Dylan and Ellie appear to have an allowance, otherwise why would Dylan have the money for the bikini show? We're talking four bikinis, just to see his mother near naked. Not even naked, but near naked (which obviously doesn't happen until later)

Its in the story. When Liam asks her to work more as they are buying this house, new cars, and more as he is making far less than what they had planned and allotted. Sophia herself worries the next day on if they should cut back, and so much more little points written in. And as they are obviously not a family used to being open with what they are spending or doing, by how L&P has written them in actions and wording. They are tight. I don't know about other people, but when one plans for living expenses, the thought of being overly cautious in purchasing a new home in a prime city, one should not be adding lavish TVs, pools, and more. Also if judging by the name is any indication, the made up city of San Alejo is in California... its not laughed at by most of the rest of the US as the land of soul killing property tax, cost of living, and more for no reason.

My home where I am from would cost around $200,000 on average in Cali, even if it deserves the moniker of trailer trash. Taking that, and adding in the fact we are talking about people used to living comfortably at a smaller cost of living without a thought? They are in trouble, seriously bad trouble. It happens. People getting hopes of a big raise, spend to meet that raise.
They have done the same, to say otherwise is to be putting them in a fantasy bubble where room size TVs dependent on a teacher's pay check is equal to even considering it. Yes Liam was supposed to be paid more, but if he's begging his wife to get part time work to make ends meet... He knows they are in trouble, or he's spending on things he doesn't wish for Sophia to know about. Whereas she is living in a fantasy to even think it is possible to keep up on part time wages.

Such people rarely cut back on what the give their kids from my experiences and witnessing of similar family situations.

.- It's just that everything Liam earns is used to pay off the loan... Liam mortgaged all his assets to the casino... and the "four Grand" in addition to this is also the casino's debt... So, the situation is complicated, and it is... moreover, the casino owner does not want to wait long... and now, if you give away the house, all the cars, everything in the house, and even all the bikinis that Dylan bought for Sofia, it's not enough to pay off the casino...
