His character is difficult to assess.
On the Good Wife Route, when his wife takes full care of him, he is a loving man.
He's just incredibly ambitious about wanting to go straight to his brother-in-law.
He wants to know that his family is taken care of, but that is the real reason that drives him.
The cracks show up on the Filthy Route.
He is also incredibly ambitious in his career. Here, too, the driving force is his ambition.
Without the protection of his wife he is careless (gaming problem).
He comes across as naive and overestimates himself and his ability to solve the problem with Morello.
He goes to these meetings incredibly carefree. Believes to be in control of the situation.
On the first thumbnail of the visit to the casino, which L&P later revised, he is incredibly relaxed.
And he's not very emphatic, he doesn't understand why his wife doesn't want sex.
Where the evening went so well for both (him).
I don't know if these are the developer's intended hints. Maybe just my imagination.
But if he cheats on her, and he will, he will for these very reasons. Because she refused him.
And Sophia won't be able to defend herself because she is cheating on him too.

Cheating doesn't always mean going out and fucking with someone, it also means mentally checking out of the relationship and making some other factor #1 in ones life. Its why many divorces end when a spouse/partner's love is not their SO but career, friends, or that hobby turned obsession get in the way. Addicts, and I'm speaking from the perspective of a recovering one, are cheaters even if they only do it with a bottle/pill/syringe.

I would not choose the word "cheat" in this/your context, but in principle I agree.
For me, these behaviors are reasons for Sophia's behavior on the Filthy Route. Anything else wouldn't make sense.
Unless she is addicted herself .

True. Realised later I was confusing how many are openly trying to sleep with Sophia, how many are secretly trying to sleep with Sophia, and how many want to sleep with Sophia, but for some reason or another aren't trying.

I was actually more thinking of how many have admitted an attraction, and would have included Sam and Julia.

But how many people do you count openly trying to sleep with Sophia?

When does Nat admit to wanting to sleep with Sophia? The last major scene she's in is her masturbating on Sophia's bed, and she thinks she's alone. I'd put her in the "secretly wanting to but not trying" category. I had to check, but I didn't actually realise that Jules admits to wanting to sleep with Sophia. I was more focusing on the end, where Jules thanks Sophia for the experience, and forgot that the scene pretty much starts with Jules admitting to wanting to.

The one thing that I don't get, is that as far as I know with the Dylan twist, he gets so close to actually having the balls to admitting he has an attraction to his Mom, but then his fans complain and it subsequently gets removed. As far as I'm aware, pretty much all his dealings with Sophia are caged in "wanting to know about girls"

The hints for the reason for the twist are in the game if people actually read the dialog but it seems not a lot of people did.
Dylan did come close to admitting this to his mom and I agree that the"wanting help with girls"is just a ruse by Dylan.
What annoys me more is that Sophia has not clicked on yet that her son has an attraction to her after all the hints in the game how can she be so clueless?
I also think that Ellie will push Julia to be more intimate with Sophia and in doing so will help Ellie to be as well.
Ellie has manipulated both Sophia and Julia towards her own end so just now I don't trust her.

Seeing how so many can't be bothered to read the thread for fixes, I am guessing its too freakin' hard to learn who likes who.

For anyone concerned about my views... I hate the males in the bloody game and only tolerate the Dylan path so that Emma gets with Sophia. The lesbian path rules.

mm after playing the last update i just notice that a perfect filty+lesbian route so far will not be pssible due to Alissa event give filty points, when the other ones give the lesbian points, idk if it was discussed before but there way too many post to know it so im sorry if this was already point out, i just think its intersting how that can course the story because that mean lesbian will be more compatible with good wife instead of filty, something that Alley_Cat know already mmmmm but for me it surprise me that there this separation in routes, anyway just random ideas

The part I find curious is that I checked the entire code of the Yoga event, and noticed that there isn't a single Filthy point requirement in the entire event. So it seems to be written so that Dylan can be set up with Marie on either the GW or Filthy route (or put another way, boarding school or Aiden route). Except only if you play Dylan's POV.

By why you would play Dylan's POV instead of Sophia's POV on the GW route is beyond me. I might have to play again just to see if it's possible to set the two up on my route.

Also noticed something about a trip to Patricia's horse rancher friend on Playable Day 15 (the all-day event). Will note down what I can about that too.

Well I replayed the game, and yes, there is no Filthy point requirement when I play my usual route.

Even on a quick skip-play on the GW without Lesbian Temptation points, you can't set Dylan up with Marie. And on the GW/Lesbian route, you only get one LT point, and miss a lot of the Marie content.

So yeah, really confused as to why there's the POV choice. Why not just have an arbitrary Dylan point requirement (say 10 or 20), and split it that way?

Oh, and discovered a final thing. If you're on the Aiden route with Patricia 14, Patricia invites Sophia to the horse rancher's place on the Sunday. But nothing if Dylan is in boarding school, or even if you're on the Aiden route but don't have Patricia 14. So do those players not get an event on that day?
