I get it, but it's bad reasoning. As a plot device it breaks my suspension of disbelief. I'm glad L&P is going back and revisiting the twist. While I don't love Dylan, this twist really does change his character for the worse.

And I saw the update too. When I played the most recent update I was really taken aback by how poor the English was. It's a common problem in adult games to have poor translations, but AWAM had always been very good about it. So it was really jarring to see the explosion in broken English. Whenever he gets a new proof-reader I hope they can find the time to go back and iron out some of the wrinkles in the previous release.

While I agree that the Twist itself is dumb, and doesn't show Dylan in the best light, I actually like it, in that it's the first time I've seen Dylan show the courage I complain he lacks. It's not the dumb shit he does that I really have a problem with, but that he doesn't ask for help when he's over his head, and that he's not learning anything from the experience. Does Dylan apologise for failing History and promise to do better next time? No. He calls Bennett a bum and a jerk. Bennett is, but that's beside the point. For Dylan's behaviour I actually blame Liam. If Dylan had a proper male role model, he might not have the problems he does.

Character progression is one of my favourite things in games. I'm really loving the Ellie route at the moment, because her interest in Logan was that he was older, had a big dick, and is famous, so completely shallow reasons. But she shows she has a caring, nurturing side, first with Emma, and then with Jules. And now with Jules she's showing a real emotional connection, so demonstrating that Ellie is growing as a person. Character aren't, and shouldn't be perfect. But how they react the problems, even if they struggle, can make all the difference.

And yeah, I'm hoping that eventually the proof-reader will redo the last update as well.

Well I believe the closest to a gangbang that we can actually confirm is a threesome or swingers party, both of which are GW. L&P has already said that Sophia may get quite kinky later down the track, and as long as Liam is involved, it's considered GW not Filthy. So it's quite possible Sophia might end up being more kinky on the GW than on the Filthy

That's fair. Dylan does need some character development, and even though this approach was ill-conceived, at least it moved his character forward. I wish I had hooked him up with Emma because that seems like it was the healthiest route for him to take. I actually didn't think he behaved too badly during the actual yoga session (never mind the showers for a minute) but he is in danger of being the pervy kid with a bad case of blue balls in my playthrough.

Now this I like. I like the idea that a woman can get kinky and still be committed to her man. Too often women are only allowed to be either boring, or total sluts. It would be a breath of fresh air if the only way to have a threesome in this game was on the GW path. It would also be one of the slowest burns in the history of entertainment because if you're committed to the GW path, you have had very little content for the last three years.

Pretty much, especially with the time jump that will happen after Sam's concert. Back when the Favorite Character Poll came out, it was confirmed that Bennett had no significant part in the near future. And with the time jump, that brought Bennett's deadline forward a week to playable day 17, so before when we hear the first sex on the Filthy route will happen (playable day 19 at the earliest).

That, and Mrs Torres has already approached Sophia confirming that Bennett was possibly being unreasonable, and that Sophia should approach the school board to get Dylan's mark changed to a pass. So it's likely that Sophia won't even need to accept Bennett's blackmail to get Dylan a passing grade.

The game is already drowning in content, so I can't lose too much sleep over the decision to cut his story. If the game is ever completed it may stick out like a sore thumb, but for those of us waiting in real-time for updates I think his story will be easy to forget.

Except there's no chance of the Ellie/Patricia route turning into a threesome with Liam. Half the point of getting the bathroom lock fixed is to keep him out for Sophia/Ellie shenanigans (the other half being Dylan). And pretty much the entire point of the Patricia route is getting Sophia to have fun on her own terms. On the Ellie/Patricia route there's only value adding for Sophia not for Liam. It's just that pursuing Ellie and Patricia in no way requires a disinterest in Liam (it requires the player to skip the events with Liam, but not disinterest on Sophia's part), so it still compatible with Sophia and Liam still being married.

It's the Vicky and Nathalie events on the GW route that may turn into threesome/foursomes with Liam.

I don't hate Dylan, I just don't believe he's the angel his fans make him out to be. I don't believe Ellie is either. I've been saying for about as long as I've been playing the game that she can be shallow, manipulative and bitchy. The difference with her is that she can also be caring and nurturing (it's why I love her relationship with Jules so much), something I have yet to see from Dylan. Part of the reason I've been harping on about Emma and Marie so much may be just because it's the first chance I've seen for Dylan to display that kind of personal growth, especially with the Twist being removed.

And all I'm ever really doing is confirming or denying what people are saying about different characters. My feelings about Sam are about the same as my feelings about Dylan. I stop playing their routes at about the same time. But Sam fans don't make the same claims Dylan fans do, so I've spent far less time fact checking (hence posting) what they say about him. And on the other hand, people have been making all kinds of claims about what Aiden and Bennett will achieve, that have no basis in what happens in game or from what L&P has said. So I call them out too.

It's been said that Bennett's blackmailing storyline is likely going nowhere & we know that L&P decided to reduce it. This was by "popular demand" it seems. It also appears that the Aiden saga is to be given the 'concertina' treatment in the future. I think both storylines were less convincing than they could have been, e.g. Sophia could have been caught illegally sneaking a look at Bennett's personnel file to try & gain some counter leverage concerning the test results, Aiden & Andre being the ones who caught her & recorded it, while up to no-good themselves perhaps? Still, it's pointless speculating on how good the blackmail angle could have been when it's incest which IMO dominates the story now. Sadly, incest leaves me cold & is of no interest. Yeah, 'how strange' but there it is.
I thought about why I stopped playing the other popular games that once occupied my time on F95. Fashion Business=couldn't stand the grindfest, Anna Exciting Affection=story got silly & turned into a fuck them all extravaganza, (although it seems it may be about to change for the better, so may give it a go again), The Tyrant=by the time it was abandoned had become a confusing mess (& I really didn't like the inclusion of murder as an option, blackmail yes but the MC killing someone?).
So, I wondered what hope there is for the likes of me with AWAM. Alyssa is still full of promise, Vicky is interesting, Morello is a mystery for now but might be entertaining & that's it. Those side-jobs are going nowhere & the host of other characters feel superfluous. Curiousity as to what happens next will keep me coming back....do I hear a groan, 'is that a facepalm I see before me?' I would like to hear other opinions, (as opposed to moron injected facepalms), because I think this game needs a kick up the 2020's. It needs a boost & soon.

Dylan is not an angel. His part in AWAM is a regular choice that each of us makes - continue his story with Sophia or end it by:
* Sophia ends the blackmail and Dylan gets sent to Boarding School
* Sophia decides to hook up Dylan with Emma

L&P says that Dylan's erotic relationship with Sophia ends with either of these choices.

You make the choice for Sophia - continue Dylan's erotic adventures with Sophia or push Dylan into erotic adventures with other women.

As to Dylan being a perv and immature because he spies on the ladies during Yoga - that is a choice you get to make.

If you don't want him to be a perv, select 'just stay where you are'.

If you want him to perv on the women, then selecting the option to spy on them - 'sneak to the ladies locker room' - is Your choice - so complaining about his immaturity and perving when you select that choice is like WTF??
