The event with Cathy/Andy takes place in their apartment. So maybe just the living room. Considering all that... maybe it could work out with October after all.

Whereas I find being pessimistic far more pragmatic, particularly when it comes to L&P. Take the last three updates for example. The evidence we had was that the Ellie/Julia event was just going to be the two sunbathing. Maybe Sophia spied on them. What we got was one of the hottest scenes in the game so far. And Sophia's first dick besides Liam (in the Alyssa event).

Evidence for the v.115 update for something hot was Ellie waiting to join Sophia in the shower. Nudity was assured, but there was only indications it was just going to be a shower. What we got instead was a whole bunch of Ellie's backstory, and her jilling herself off. And Sophia accepting a kiss from Ellie without hesitation. And in the prison event, even if just a fantasy sequence, the first scene of Sophia having sex with someone besides Liam.

Evidence for v.130 of something hot was nil, and at least for me, I was expecting 5 minutes of content. Turns out I got 10.

This update, the closest I'm expecting to hot content is Nat admitting she has the hots for Sophia and actively flirting with/teasing her. Maybe Cathy and Andy admitting they want to sleep with Sophia too.

Might my predictions be wrong? Sure, I'm only going by the evidence L&P gives us. Might the update be hotter that I'm predicting? Wouldn't be the first time, but I count that as a pleasant surprise, so a win. And if my predictions are also right, that's also a win. Either way, I'm not disappointed, and people being disappointed seems to happen a lot right after an update is released. I learnt that lesson after Emma joined the Aiden route.

Two years ago this was slated to be a major event. Six months ago it was all a fiery defense of the process and the story. Now, it may be cut short and available through dlc at some unspecified time in the future. Sounds like he may be burning out on the story and just not as excited by it anymore.

He's not the only one, thanks to the new normal of 1 year for less than 1 playable day. It's strange when you think of what a powerhouse goldmine this could be, not that he doesn't make a decent amount & I know it's not all about the money, but still..... Fan art/stories are appearing all over the net, testifying to this VN's popularity & that's without much forward momentum from the game itself.

Here you can see the whole dimension of the scene. It's really tough working with it. To render it I even had to NVLink my two GPUs, becauce the 24 GB VRAM of a single one were too little for it. I'm glad when it's over and I move to part 2 of the event which will be much easier to work with.
By this statement I take it that L&P has only been using 1gpu to render, so my question is why is he only using 1 gpu ?
Was all of this just for bragging rights?
If this bar event is not that important there is a lot of things that the dev could of done to reduce rendering times without the use of NVlink

It seems that over the past six months, that 5% of progress has been the hardest for L&P!

I really hope that Sabertooth__ is right and further things will go much faster!
In any case, the release in October, at the moment, looks completely unrealistic.
Despite the fact that I am quite optimistic myself and I like the optimism of Hlextor.

In any case, reading the discussion of the events of this evening, assumptions, what and how can happen at Sam and Sofia, what is waiting for us at the apartment of old friends? He hasn't been right in a long time. I think he is just trying to be optimistic instead of realistic. The graph that Talcum Powder uses probably gives the best projection so far. It's most likely will be in late Nov. or Dec. But two 1/3 releases and a P.D. that took over one year to complete is terrible.

We can agree with this, but I hope that in the future updates will be released a little faster than we expect.

As I said before, did he really need 79+ characters to interact or corrupt Sophia?

I think 79 characters are needed by L&P not to corrupt Sofia, but to tell us an interesting story.

In any case, friends, I think this evening will be interesting and exciting! Events will develop non-linearly. This evening may open up a topic for DLC, add points in relation to the sisters, but it will focus more on the relationship between Sam and Sofia. Besides, in my opinion, Sam and Sofia can meet after Sofia and Liam leave their friends ' apartment.
This is quite real and let's keep in mind that visiting old friends can be quite fun!

What concerns me for the future of AWAM is that (as I've said before) by the time L&P'll get to the scenes that will really sell the game, they will already be obsolete. By taking so long, and being so obstinant, he's already a generation behind. Close to two generations behind now.

Some may have noticed I recently swapped out my AWAM sig for DDoS. I was really hesitant to do so, but it was ultimately how L&P interacts with his supporters that lead to the switch. Turns out the dev for DDoS is incredibly supportive of fan art (like many of the devs I've encountered, takes it as a compliment, and free advertising), and releases the asset list he uses. Also has a more realistic blackmail route, and hotter threesomes. Yes, plural, there are already two in the game after about a year and a half of game development.

And I'm only looking at FemProtag lesbian games. I don't even need to bother to look to know the likelihood that there is certainly more out there for those looking for straight routes.

The 79+ characters play a part in interaction and corruption as well as it tells the story. How do you think you acquire all the GW/Filthy points in the novel? The question is could he have told the story with fewer characters? There are other VNs out there that have less character and delivers the same quality in both Story and Visual.

Yes, he has already confirmed the Sophia/Nathalie event is very hot and Sophia will have new lesbian experiences. Dylan/Ellie/Christine could also be interesting. Possibly the lolly teaser is a hint of a BJ .... not implemented, but may be called for?
And even though I don't like Sam "the other guy" as a character and I don't wish him any progress with Sophia until Dylan has gone similarly far with her.... unfortunately, I'm sure things will heat up already. It is a porn game after all. And Sophia has already progressed quite a bit in her filthy path. So why shouldn't anything hot happen here?

What are you finding too difficult to understand? If you're not doing Aiden's tasks, you no longer get the Emma events. Same as Alyssa. That's explained clearly in the walkthough.

We all remember that last time, despite the fact that Dylan and Liam were under the balcony, Sofia arranged a striptease for Sam to tease him.


Probably this evening, when they are alone, maybe Sofia will pamper Sam, even if Liam, Patricia or Dylan is somewhere nearby!
And even more so, everything can be very hot if Sofia is comfortable because they are completely alone and no one can interfere with them.

Day 13 I understand, but 14? Since the previous Ellie event was Ellie jilling off in front of Sophia, I'm at least expecting a conversation between Ellie and Sophia about how it's okay for Sophia to get off in front of Ellie, which would be needed for a later event of Sophia getting off in front of Ellie possibly on playable day 16. And day 14 also has Patricia. Not only hot, but also comedic relief. No way that should be palmed off to DLC.

Any reference to DLC WRT the Sam event I'm assuming has to do with the more superfluous details of the event, like who the other patrons are, who the main band is, any dancing that might occur and Sophia and co letting loose etc.

It does seem absurd. I often think you're too negative Viper, but it's a bad look for a dev to tell people "Hey, this scene that I've been working on for two months? Yeah, don't expect too much."

I do completely agree with your assessment. If he DLC's this when will that happen. In the 2040 to 2050 time frame? Who gives a rats ass by then? I have said before he needs to make this a good release (pun intended). If he barely moves Sam's needle (Ha ha ha) then that path is threatened with obscurity or the infamous DLC. If all this update does it highlight a little more Nathalie and open the swinger route by introducing that possible path then his production rate moves to the center of the stage for all issues. He either gets into an acceptable rate or patrons need to vote with their feet.

Sure, but this is new. Cutting a scene short so that additional content is only available via DLC, he hasn't done that yet. Coach Sophie is one thing, but that never really got off the ground. This scene with Sam has been in the works for a long time, and now he's going to only partially complete it and leave the rest for a undefined DLC? That's bold.

At present I believe the real problem is the number of characters in this scene, setting up the location took him a lot less time than most expected. This scene shouldn't be long, around 12-15 % of the 35% in my opinion. The remaining half will have less characters which will improve things a little. Also after what KillJoys shared with us I hardly speculate a car drive with Sam. Though lighting can be tough I would expect that he has figured out a lot about it by now, since that's what he is most focused about everytime. I should no longer take him as much time.

The Cathy scene is also not going to have a lot of characters, so I expect that to be decently paced once the location is setup.

Expect the early December release. Pre Christmas to be the holiday present to his patrons. If it rolls to January he will be a complete fail for something he is apparently gutting.

I agree with you as I think that he wants to concentrate on other characters(maybe).
If he is not interested in AwAm then it seems like a waste to do a 4k scene which could of been done quicker but still great quality but his ego is the problem
