Sadly, I kind of got it figured out :(

This last release was all Dylan--and that's how releases in the future will be...a focus on some character AND Sophia. Thats a lot of work if it's going to be one character at a time; thus, resulting in a lot of slow burn. Hell, and I thought Red Dwarf Stars took forever.

Realistically, is it possible to really get more people involved with programing/rendering and a small team of writers or consultants to help the process? If it's going to always be a One-man-Butt-kicking contest, Sophia will hit Menopause before anyone else gets to nibble her Giblets.

With as many characters AND Sophia, there should be three teams of programmers and artist each specializing in a handful of the characters. Am just saying the logistics of this one game is huge just to make any progress.

At the current pace of roll-out AWAM will take around another 40 years. Originally set in 2017, it is now, for whatever reason, set in 2022. Whether it will suddenly become set in another year later on, is a possibility. Technology, fashions, home furnishings & fittings & much more will have changed, by the time the game finishes, as a "period drama." Progress from what the development speed used to be towards 1PD every 2 & a half years has been steady & headed in only one direction. Sophia would be long past pension age, if in RL, with the tribulations of the menopause well behind her.

There has been talk of hiring a team since 2017. It's not the Dev's preferred method of working & the chances of it happening in the standard sense, seen with other games, are minimal to zero.

Dylan's scenes are to be brought up to parity with Sophia's, [AWAM still needs a "male protagonist" tag], which will consume a lot of time & effort, if previous practice is anything to go by. Event-based updates have led to a series of scenes with the probability of a greater amount of lewd content, because fans would be disappointed if each event didn't contain a sexual element, especially after waiting for 2-3 months. Unfortunately this approach has ended the idea of a flowing, coherent story, which used to exist & made immersion impossible for a number of players, particularly those not wishing to play the Dylan route.

Subscribing Patrons are largely in agreement with the way the game progresses & any who aren't run the risk of being 'shut down' if they query or complain on Patreon. Pirates who complain on this thread, are advised to join Patreon & complain there, as in Catch 22.

Vitriol from sycophants often follows a commentary of this type but this is NOT a complaint, simply a brief overview of how things are after 5+ years. Early posts on this thread, in 2017 & later, referred using terms like "insanity," to the possibility of AWAM being likely to take 5 years to develop. This 'unprecedented' amount of time was refuted by a bemused, incredulous, Dev. Things change....

don't you get tired of saying the same things over and over again ?

Check my posts & you'll see I don't....check back properly, a few years ago, when there were more & better things to say. Check on the OFF-TOPIC. Don't you get tired of producing the same type of retorts? Someone posted a comment & I responded with some basic facts. Why are you triggered by that, or rather, why can't you find some counter-balancing positive things to say? How wonderful the quality of the renders can be, how marvelous that the Dev devotes his precious time & so on, or something a bit more original maybe?

Work out the projected finishing time for yourself. You'll find 40 years is an 'up-beat' under-estimate, on my part, or do you honestly belong to the imaginary silent majority, who sincerely believe the Dev is going to 'pull something out of the hat?' Are you likely to be pleased if things get even more complicated & slower? Launching on Steam might be the time to find out. Ask the Dev why there's still no male protagonist tag after a couple of years of having Dylan as a "2nd MC." Seriously, I'd really like to know....

That's THE main problem, more than any storytelling or plot development (though I think those are also suffering for the same reason).
There is debate above about believability and even in the insane world of porn stories, this story makes little sense. The actions just have no cohesion and the length of development causes the dev himself to lose the thread many times.
The last major event that seemed to be remotely believable was the concert to hot tub scenario. Woman likes the attention this teen boy gives her, she plays into it a bit even if it's mostly just to tease him, she gets a bit carried away after a couple drinks, boy pushes his luck and she gives in before they're stopped by the husband coming home.
That's conceivable. The next day in his room, the tub with Dylan, the sex-ed stuff, etc all makes zero fucking sense lol. Her actions from one hour tot he next- forget day to the next - rarely make sense.

The problem is that it's one dude who absolutely refuses to outsource anything. He somehow thinks it hurts the cohesion or integrity of "his vision" when, no, there is plenty others could be doing to help that wouldn't alter a thing.

Many call it greed but call it what you like. It is what it is. I'm in the former camp.

BTW I doubt Liam really did not notice Sam at the pool while kissing his wife Sophia.
Liam lusts to see Sophia and Dylan what is going on in the changing room at the beach (Viagra incident).
Actually Liam excited to see his wife's attire when Mr. Harris visited.

Later in the game, Liam might be coming out he wants to become a cuck hubby and locked.
I agree

I have 2 questions
1. dylan-sophia event 2 will be "hotter" than dylan-sophia event event 1 ?
2. event 2 will be pn same path or other dylan path ?

No, because his folders structure is so inhumanely complex that it's impossible to explain them to any mortal being without blowing up their limited brains.

Also, that would require sharing profits, which is the ultimate no of all noes.

But first and foremost: how dare you question anything of him, you bloody pirate, son of a rat?

I disagree totally with your plural of "no" - however I can't for the life of me think of an alternative.....<senior's moment>.....
