I said this months ago about Part 1. More or less I was right (even a little bit better than I expected).

It boggles the mind that he hasn't been going out of his way to scrub the game of any reference to a specific year from Day One.
Sure there are unavoidable things that can't hold up to close examination (the iPhone model used for the stats menu already looks dated), that's unavoidable - but why shackle himself to any year specifically.
