In L&P's self proclaimed ultra realistic game, the protagonists are unaware of the fact that every restaurant in the city is closed, especially when it was planned for days. You know, a couple making plans to go out on a dinner date in a fancy restaurant would surely know when and if a restaurant is open or not. It's one of those things where the more you think about it the more questions you have. It simply isn't a well conceived idea because there are other solutions that would have made more sense and allowed for Sophia's corruption to advance significantly. I get the impression that L&P got tunnel vision on the club and stopped looking for alternatives.

I don't think this is a fair criticism. We don't need Sophia owning dozens of different bathing suits, outfits, or shoes. L&P is guilty of a lot of things, but anyone who has used Daz will understand that it isn't easy to find quality clothing assets, and when you do you use them a lot. There are a lot of limitations to Daz, and the quality of assets is one of them.

Fair enough, but with the time he is taking between each update and him according importance to the smallest detail and "realism", and the fact that scenes with eroticism, nudity etc are supposed to be the most polished and refined ones (it's a porn game right ?), for me it's quite a blemish. And remember the bikini show ? L&P proved that they are apparently enough bikini models to vary and spice things a little, and maybe he should had keep one of them for later .

And not a fair criticism ? What do you say about all the other users asking the same thing in loop or joking : "the game will be finished in 2050, my grandchild will tell me in my deadbed if Sophia fucks anyone" blah blah blah.

Some people pay for it, spend quite the amount of money, so they legitimately expect for the utmost quality in every aspects.

You are kind of contradicting yourself here. Realism is exactly that. I don't know about you, but my women don't have a new bikini for every day of the year. It is perfectly normal to wear the same dress/bikini or whatever more than once. In terms of realism, you could call it a "blemish" if that wasn't the case, not because she's wearing the same piece of cloth twice as that is actually closer to realism.

That said, the bikini was discussed in the off-topic thread, and I'm fairly certain it is a different asset. Or atleast a modified asset apart from the change in color. The first two screenshots you provided clearly show that the top is slightly different.

Either way, I personally couldn't care less about seeing Sophia wearing the same bikini more than once. Sure, would be nice seeing her in different clothes rather than the same handful of dresses throughout the game, which I think that is one thing L&P is doing quite well. Has obviously nothing to do with realism, but is a nice eyecandy so it doesn't become boring looking at Sophia. Anyway, the game has other, much more important issues. For example the development time, which you've also mentioned. Plotholes, inconsistencies regarding the story and other nonsense. But a bikini? Nah.

It depends whether or not fans want a 'realistic' veneer to the game, or whether 'porn logic' should dominate. It seems that the Dev has decided on the latter, presumably to please the majority of his Patrons. It must be what he understands them to want & it must make business sense. L&P promised realism in an erotic VN but currently delivers an average teen porn pulp game, realism having been abandoned years ago. It turned out to be the case, that there'd been no need to promise this in the first place. Personally speaking, having played various porn games, none of which were in any sense realistic, or claimed to be, it was the advertisement of realism, all those years ago, that was amongst those things which drew me strongly to AWAM. I've had enough of cartoon characters & stories. We've got an over supply of games to cater for such tastes & the choice is vast.

Realism in the game now seems to consist of the cast members not being abducted by aliens, or having to deal with orcs & goblins & no-one has any special mind-control powers, of course. Once the concept of realism is ditched, it's a case of "anything goes." That may be fine for the "Hey, it's just a porn game," viewpoint but not for anyone who wants something better, i.e. a proper set of story arcs, with believable characters. Fiction has to veer from the course that reality would most likely take but why does this have to produce illogical nonsense? Novels, films & even comics exist which deal with erotic subjects but manage to maintain a kind of realism. Plot holes, retro fitting of storylines, out of character behaviour, lack of immersion for anyone not into M/S incest, etc., have all made AWAM into nothing more than another run-of-the-mill episodic offering, albeit a very slow one.

There's also the question of whose porn logic are we talking about when that subject is raised? Observing the bulk of current porn games, I know it's not mine. L&P should perhaps consider removing references to realism from his mission statement/promo blurb, along with adding a long overdue, male protagonist tag.

But a porn game will never be realistic, because realism and porn are kind of mutually exclusive.

So incest isn't real? There have been plenty of instances of incest, much of the middle ages was full of incestuous relationships, especially in the nobility to try and keep the bloodlines pure. There are also reports in the media EVERY time an incestuous relationship is discovered.

The reason LP emphasized reality was to explain "the degree of corruption of human relationships based on reality", not "an extremely ordinary family".

Naturally, people here don't play games to see husbands who are exhausted from work, mother pigs who are tired of married life, and ordinary students who are only into soccer until they graduate from high school.

Because he puts a realistic concept of time into the game, people ask if it's too late at night in the current game background.
