The vast majority of people who are left in this thread are not here looking for a quick fuck. Everyone understands the slow burn natures of this game. But that slow burn has gotten out of control. I don't think you'll get much argument here that the side jobs aren't important. I think the second side job is gross as hell and broke the game, but that's a different conversation. The argument, instead, is that something has to give. We're on pace for a 30 year development cycle. That means that the game is never going to advance in a meaningful way unless cuts are made. Painful cuts. The low hanging fruit like Bennett's storyline have already been cut. Now we need to start getting into more painful cuts because they impact development time to a higher degree. Would it have made more sense to build up to Dylan slowly? Yeah, for sure. But that would require focusing on side characters that no one cares about because he hasn't done a good job of developing them. No one wants to play 2 or 3 updates a year that focus on characters that we haven't seen in 2 years.

But really, nothing is going to matter until L&P starts producing a new update every 4 to 6 weeks. Until he can start pumping out updates at a reasonable rate, there's no chance that this game is completed in the way he originally envisioned.

Sadly, I very much do agree with you. I can't in the past say there is too much going on and L&P needs to cut characters, then not be OK with the side jobs coming to an end.

I've said this before, the filthy route is Sophia with Dylan, and the lesbian route is Sophia with Ellie, and the good wife route is Sophia with Liam (swinging route). Every other character was there to help Sophia to the point she crossed the line with Dylan and Ellie. Sophia did that with Dylan in the last update and can say she already did that with Ellie in the scene with Julia at the pool. Yes, Sophia hasn't gone all the way with them but what she did do was significant.

Other characters can be tied in, like Sam and/or Zach with Dylan, Julia or Patricia with Ellie. They're certainly can be some crossover between routes but updates should always have Sophia with Liam, Ellie or Dylan.

There are some loose ends that need to be tidied up first and things come to a logical end, but the side jobs, Aiden tasks, and any more maid stuff need to all come to an end.

How does Patricia fit into your description? While she has the least amount of events of the major characters, she is still important enough to have her own route and relationship points.

I think you've been playing too many of these other corruption games with the village slut. Even those rarely feature full on rape like the subway scene would have been. Just because the game is called a wife and a mother, it doesn't mean that the main focus of the game is that she has to fuck the husband and the children. It just means that her being a wife and/or mother is relevant to the story. She is doing Aiden's tasks because she is a mother and protecting her child. She could do some stuff with Liam's boss because she is a wife. She does stuff with Sam even though she is a wife.
I do agree that there are some side stories that are just that, like the old guys side job, or the tutoring the kids one. I don't know about the old guys side story, but from what I've read the tutoring job is one of L&P's favorite ones so I'm sure he won't cut that out.

I don't think cutting out stuff is the way to go, even with content I don't care about. Maybe some other people care about it and it seems unfair to them, after all these years to not get anything. I think the only real solution is for L&P to pick up the pace. As he can't do it alone, it's already been shown, the only real hope is hiring a team at some point and then starting to be efficient. At least once every 2 months type of deal.

I didn't say I wouldn't play events with Patricia, I just stating that the lesbian route revolves around Ellie and anyone else should be linked to that. It is called A Wife and A Mother and the tagline is How far would you go, I have always felt that the lesbian route is how far you would go with Ellie, and other characters are there to help corrupt Sophia into going further with Ellie.

They are characters besides Dylan, Ellie and Liam that play an important part in how far you go with Sophia, Patricia is one on the lesbian route, Sam is on the filthy route etc etc. I'm just saying it all should lead back to Ellie in the end.
