It's not a porn game... adult and mature, yes... but it's not explicit.
It's a game about a prudish housewife about to sample some experiences that are not vanilla.

And, for ONCE, she's not gonna be abused, blackmailed, raped until she likes it, have a head injury...
By her OWN desire, she's gonna follow the rabbit down the hole... and this is not a fast journey.
Because rational people, with responsabilities as a family and kids... it's not fucking dumb as a rock.
The dev wants us to care about her, just so when the time comes and we got to make a choice... we understand the stakes.

This doesn't mean the game is perfect. There are a lot of things than can and should be better.
There are still some typos, some broken english here and there...
The pacing could be better, some scenes run a bit long...
But my point is that the game is what it is... it's not gonna change, so you are in for the ride or not.

I agree completely. Is a pity that few are going to read it, since few read the vision of the game that Dev wrote here.

You like it or you don't... mighty fine. Not all this things are for everybody.
You wait or you don't... again, pacience is a virtue, but not all of us have the same strength.

But you can't complain and whine, with the goal of changing the core of the game or the artist's vision.
That's not gonna happen. And that kind of messages just blow up into flamewars.
So criticism is good and necessary, you can even be a jerk if you are really dissapointed, but the game is what it is, deal with it.

But in this last years, the main kind of reviews I see are basically people telling the creator what they would have done so X concept was more akin to THEIR OWN SELFISH tastes.
It's not about what a game/film/book is, more about what I wanted it to be and how dares the creator to follow other path.
And then said person would list all the things that didn't work FOR HIM so the creator sees and changes it because that's the motherfucking law.

As I told a little earlier, I am totally hook on this. Sweet family, sweet story, great guitar and cello learning scene. It's just too nice to be true. And I totally fell for that instant crush scene with the soccer mom. Keep that good work please.

I for one am super pleased to see a game with a story this good, deep and detailed! Finally something with thought and attention to details put into it. I see the main character mostly reacting to the environment and people around. So far there's not much to say about each character, beyond bland adjectives like 'prude', 'potential slut' etc.

I wish the dev would spend more time on each character. Right now, what we have is too many renders per scene and too few scenes per character. Would be better off with fewer renders per scene and more interactions for each character.

In the search of that goal, they move to another city, where they reconnect with old friends and her younger sister.
The marriage seems to be tumbling along, keeping the facade of the perfect american family... but temptation is knocking on the door.
Their marriage features all the problems of a couple that married too young.
There is no communication, and that seems to be leading the wife to stray, to see if the grass is greener on the other side.

That's the core story...

I haven't played the new version, but from the first one it seems like this would be more like a sitcom than a full-blown thriller.
Usually when people talk about story in this type of game they mean details and character relationships.

I'm sure characters will be flashed out in a future. This update took only 1 day out of the game and it flashed out Sam, daughter, sister, gym dudes and husband a bit further. It's surely slow game so there is plenty of time for that. Moreover day progression is natural as they even remember to eat so it would be hard to fill everything. I suppose it will remain at introductory mode for at least 3 more updates so there is plenty of time for that

You're right, given the long day dynamic, there's not much character progress that can be made. 3 more updates in intro mode? Well, good thing he's got lots of fans.

A lot of this is pure subtext.
She wants another baby because she fears the loneliness of a life without her children.
More so when she's in a new city, with a new unfulfilling job, just because they all (as a family) had to chase the husband's dreams.
So, even when we are only in day two... it's obvious that there is gonna be some resentment for part of the MC.
Because they are not talking about this, they just keep going on... I don't know why.
Maybe time eroded their relationship? Maybe they fear that talking would expose the seams in the marriage?
The point is that she's not happy, she's vulnerable... and we get to decide if she's gonna be weak or strong.
We are gonna decide if their relationship should be saved or not...

I really enjoy this game, the renders are perfect and the story seems like it's gonna be something I'd enjoy. For the second update I really noticed one minor issue with the story, when the mom for no reason starts explaining in detail why she was dressed in Lingerie, kinda took me out of the mood for a moment, other than that it's been a great update.

One thing I'd like to add is that I feel like, depending on how long until next update, the dev could lower the amount of renders just a bit. Having so many renders does add quality to the game but I also feel like doing less renders for some events could help speed things up without diminishing the quality too much, if at all. Overall I think this game's the one I'm looking forward to the most.
