How have we been eating pretty good when the last proper event on that route was over 3 years ago? For the last Ellie event, both versions are locked behind straight content! It turns out you can't progress on the normal Ellie route unless Sophia went all the way with Tyler, and for the "lesbian" version, that's locked behind the bonus storyline, which isn't even an option if you're not playing the Dylan route.

From memory you're a Sam fan, and yeah, he's been shafted pretty hard with the latest developments on his route. Just don't blame it on the fans of a route that has also been shafted pretty hard with the latest developements.

Hey, I’m not blaming anything on anyone (aside from L&P feature creeping himself into a corner), but I’m saying that with the space of time between these updates, you’ve got to mix it up, lest you turn off the people who aren’t here for that.

Alls I’m saying is that if I had a near full PD coming on the visible horizon that was going to be a near nonstop Sam and Sophia extravaganza, I’d probably be content to wait for that, just satisfied knowing that it’s coming, rather than saying “Why isn’t this coming update just Sam without the other characters that other people might like? I don’t care that other people might like these characters, I want Sam now!”

With the slow trickle of Sam updates, I’ve actually started following other subplots (Zac, Tyler, and yes, Deshawn) just to stay interested, but even then, we’re still looking down the barrel of five PDs before our first hetero sex scene. By comparison, there’s what, two major lesbian scenes in the next in-game 48 hours? Can we not just be happy with that, and accept that some people might like Vicky and Deshawn?

Same ... APM and corrupted hearts became my new VN choice...better storyline in same genre and better scenes. Renders are high quality in AWAM no doubt ..but yea story and scene wise those 2 are better.

In the past I placed APM (A Perfect Marriage, as some users don't not know the abbreviation) and AWAM on the very top of my list of games. Today the latter is falling down... well, I don't like to complain too much; it's still interesting in some way. But not 'top of class' anymore.

And Corrupted Hearts... well, some time ago I would say that it was at least one level below AWAM. Today I am not sure. Pity.

He shouldn't even switched to the newest version in the first place. The majority of his patreon voted for the old version, but he tried to gaslight everyone into thinking that everyone is wrong and then failed spectacularly.
Anyways, I doubt he's gonna switch back to v 0.175 look, which is arguably the best version of Sophia; instead, most likely he is gonna switch back to v 0.190 look, which is less ugly than the newest version but still ugly.

I also criticized L&P when necessary, especially because of the long-lasting upgrades, but some of you are going too hard on the guy. Even those who don't support him financially are bossing him around on how he should do his job. In almost every page people bully him. There are a lot of visual novels in the industry, but none of them doesn't hit as well as AWAM, does it? Then maybe we should give the guy a break.
