Why is everyone hating on the new animations ? Its actually really fucking good the whole animation has movements head,legs.feet,blinking,hair Fuck even the necklace even moves. Fuck even the top animators dont have the kind of movements

2.It took too much time for such a short animation.
For the same amount of time we got 50 times more animations in TGO from NLT.

It's better then 95% of games on here tho And i have played a lot. And i can see it would take long to make some blender animators take months for a 30 sec -1 min clip. and this guy is using daz plus making all this still renders can't really blame the guy

You must start immediately playing more games.You can find at least 20 games with simular or even better animations in top 3 pages.

Yall over here talking about NLT, I wish Jackerman was part of this game. It would probably be the best game ever made.

Jackerman does pretty awesome work but the movements with his work are pretty unrealistic in my opinion and somewhat repetitive. I really liked the ones L&P delivered and found them better. Bottom line both are pretty good fap material. So my penis gave a thumbs up for both but in terms of progression of the VN industry I think L&P‘s guy did a better job. I personally want more of this!

I could agree that AWAM progress is very slow, but NLT has at least 10x more money from supporters, 10x worst story (this is my opinion), animation without hair movement and models with awful plastic skin.

It's not really the attempt at greater than average realism that's the problem with AWAM. It's a big part of what attracted me to pursue it all those years ago. I couldn't properly appreciate all those games where relatively young men managed to assemble a harem, or the women with their stupid "ahegao" faces & air-bag breasts. There was much, much more I found not to like & then along came AWAM, which back then seemed as though it was going to be genuinely erotic, written & illustrated by an adult for adults. At the outset it promised a greater level of credibility & delivered on this IMO.

If the attempt at some form of realism, ( an 'ism' which has been declining IMHO), was abandoned completely, AWAM would still exist but many fans would decide to give it a miss, as yet another example of averagely concocted juvenile porn. There is every reason to stick with the notorious "slow burn" of AWAM & if anything I would say that the timetable of 30 playable days for Sophia to commit adultery, (probably with several people), is an absolute minimum of what's needed for disbelief to be suspended. It's because I value some 'realism' that I raised the issue of the odd choice of clothing.

This famous lack of extra-marital sex & the time that's being taken to remedy it stems solely from the Dev's observable commitment to slowing down the roll-out of the game/VN to the point where there can be few fans left who sincerely believe it will ever be finished, or if it is, may not be around to see it. Like you, I sometimes regret becoming addicted to this stuff & I definitely still wish it to succeed, (as a pirate, if only from enlightened self-interest) but for the last 2 years at least, all the indications have been "contra".

If I read you correctly you seem to say that the realism is declining and you want to keep it (my best effort to restate while summarizing your position). I disagree a bit as I think something has to give - either the realism or the high quality images and animations. This is of course in order to have the extra marital sex occur before we all die. So a happy medium is needed.

My personal belief is that the quality should be decreased a bit, especially for the surroundings. Also, new story lines should be limited (seems like the developer wants to introduce more and more plots).

Renpy and RPGM are game engines, not render/animation creators. You make them with DAZ or Blender or whatever and then you implement them in Renpy or RPGM. So we can in fact compare them.

About the animations in this game, they're better than most of other similar games yes, but the characters still seem stiff and fake. For me it wasn't worth it, because 1) I didn't care about the characters involved, it didn't make me hard 2) it delayed the game too much for an already couple decades scheduled game, without animations

The amount of money can't make up for the time it took to finish a total of less than 30 seconds unique animations.
Or you seriously think that because he is making 10 times less money,he can work 10 times slower?
It's the other way around.The more money L&P is making the slower he is working.
Not to mention we don't need next gen animations to make the game better.
Watching tertiary characters having sex(or rape)it's not really what I call a progress.

No you can't if its a visual novel like awam you have still renders and have 100's of renders for the dialogue. Then rpgm is just you running around a map with 1-2 renders for the dialogue [NTL] Cough Cough And has the same renders.

On the question of realism/authenticity (which I have already expressed an opinion) affecting a drop in fan numbers, you'll note patron numbers have currently reached an all time high. Surely you'll concede L&P must be getting something right, at least if you happen to be on the winning side?

I don't think you know what a top animator is.
The animations were good but Jen looks like she's holding a fart the entire time, andre looks like he was dealt a good poker hand and aiden looks like he's trying to look focused while letting a fart of his own without anyone noticing.

Plus they add nothing to the game, the entire thing could have been published without the animation and no one would have missed them. That other dude who said that those animations would be made in days instead of months was actually right, no wonder L&P deleted his post.

Quite agree. There's something about L&P's animation characters that reminds me of the Thunderbirds puppets (if anyone remembers these?).
What's regarded as good animation these days is getting very near to reality.

You'll get a great high quality animation promo very soon. This should at least be a little compensation for the longer wait because of them. And with such kind of animations it is a big deal People who're working in this field need sometimes up to 3 months for just one animation! Of course these are absolutely top notch animations, best of the best! We're not making it that complicated (at least for this update) but it still needs more time than from other games which just do basic simple animations without much skills!

Heck no!!! I like some of Jackerman's work but it is completely different style to AWAM. Adding Jackerman to AWAM would just kill the game. If you want Jackerman then go find a Jackerman style game.
