The Sam route may also appear fast in that there aren't the same number of events as there are for the Dylan and Ellie routes. In the Ellie route Sophia told Jules that them kissing was a once-off and can't happen again. But there's another Ellie event with Sophia coming up on PD14 (and another small one) where Ellie can push Sophia into possibly trying it again. Especially with the "intimate shaving" lesson coming up, possibly with an accompanying discussion about oral.

But Ellie has about twice as many events as Sam, so can afford to take it slow.
Yes, that's a way to see things but it's not always about the number of scenes. Sometimes it's about the quality of the time the two share with each other and in all honesty Sam has made the biggest progress in making Sophia happy, she feels free around him because the two share the same hobbies.

Didn't Sam have more events with Sophia than Ellie?Something like 15?
Of coures a lot of them(around half) are with Dylan too.

On my daily commute drive home, the entire way until I reach my neighborhood is a single lane road with a 45mph speed limit. Yet, every day, there's some doofus that can't do better than 30-35mph. Without fail.

The very rare times that I don't find myself with anyone in front of me, at least for certain stretches, and I can so the actual speed limit, I feel like I'm just flying, simply because I'm so used to going so damn slow.

So, perhaps it's a bit of this. Game's been dragging on for a looooong time, super duper slow burn, and then when it finally looks like something might happen, to some it feels like suddenly it's moving to fast.
That's a good example man, and yes it might be that way but if they expect the game to always be that way that's on them. It's just frustrating to see when people months back were complaining about the pace and now say it's too fast. Even in tv shows, the pace is sometimes slow but suddenly something out of nowhere happens that changes the entire show

It's funny you should say that because this event was supposed to be a small event/scene with one animation. He turned it into a large event and two animations to cover the details you described and added a cliffhanger at the end that will filter into update 6. So if he left it a small event, would Sam have made the leaps he made in this event/scene, and would it have been less convincing?

Did you read his outline of how the story should be told as he explained it? He uses realistic and time-lapse words to jump ahead in time to feel like more time has passed to give it a sense of realism. That's what people are referencing when they say things like the scene jump too quickly.

The Sophia progression with Sam is the most grounded in the game. Sophia was obviously smitten with Sam. He made her feel young again and gave the attention she desperately needed.

As to her thoughts and dialogues being at odds with her actions - that's all mind vs heart. One can say they shouldn't do something but if they subconsciously crave or NEED it, they will go against their rational thoughts. I thought the images in the update showed Sophia's conflicted body language quite beautifully. She's smiling, posing, asking Sam to sit by her, touching him, putting her hand on his shoulder, etc. Her words are saying one thing but her actions are saying the opposite.

By my count, of 105 events until the end of PD15: Dylan 42, Ellie 23, Sam 12 and Patricia 10
Alley_Cat, if those are the number of events, did you break them out (Where the text reflects another conversation?) For example, Dylan has 42 events scenes; how many are with Sophia, Ellie, Amber, Marie, and Emma only? The same with Ellie; how many of those seen are only with Sophia, Dylan, Julia, Logan, and Sam?

Because Dylan has scenes that are not focused on Sophia only, the same with Ellie, the context could be shifted to someone else, but Sophia maybe in the scene.

Well yes and no that depends on what he was initially planning, but even if he was aiming for a small even it would have reached the same outcome. Seeing as how Sophia feels about Sam can tell you that she likes him to the extent of her craving for Sam and cheating on her husband

It felt pretty realistic to me, and that's coming from someone who never got mad at how the pace is slow or anything. I enjoy a game where the story can be thrilling with powerful emotion events. What I'm trying to say is that Sam is the Number 1 candidate to Sophia's heart and knowing that he had so many events with her the buildup seemed realistic to me my friend. But as they say you can't please everyone can you.

For those 42 events, they're the scenes with Dylan - no distinction has been made between whether Sophia plays a role or not, so it does include the bonus storyline, Emma, and the latest event with Amber where Sophia hasn't been directly involved.

As for Ellie, I haven't included her in the bonus storyline tally, or her appearance after Sam's concert mainly because I haven't seen those events having any significance on her route. Yet.

As I've stated before, this is all in my spreadsheet, so is a living document I change as I get information. When the next event in the bonus storyline comes out, we might finally see what all the secret squirrel is about, and I'll change my tallies as appropriate.

And of course, if someone doesn't like how I do things, they're more than welcome to create their own tally.

In the walkthrough,

If Dylan is on the “cuckold path”: On the way to school, he will have a particular conversation about
the postman with his mom!

I haven't go this path, what is the conversation? Is that meaning we might see an incident Sophia and the postman with Dylan?

Does make me curious what will happen when it stops being "innocent fun". While this most recent event definitely falls within Patricia's rule of "no dick in pussy", like others have already said it definitely is cheating.

It would probably take some smoothing over by either Carl or Patricia if Liam were to ever find out.
Come on Alley_Cat, get real brother, you know any horndog, including Liam would love to get a piece of Patricia. I'm just surprised that Liam hasn't gone after Ellie yet. Let's get this baby to the next level, yummy!!!! We already know that Ellie is very curious about her daddy.

Dylan says that the post man wants to fuck her and she denies it by saying he's just being friendly, we might see Dylan pushing Sophia in the future like that event in the park where he advises her to volunteer to charity work for those drunkards that harassed her

Do you mean Patricia letting Liam have some fun with her to smooth things over? Hadn't actually considered that possibility

As for Ellie, I don't think so. While she did ask about Liam's dick size, that was more in context about how bad he is in bed. Besides, like Dylan, a secret relationship that doesn't help Ellie's reputation is of absolutely no use to her. She's too shallow to consider it.

I don't know how you would see if you would reach the same outcome when no one knows what the initial scene was in the first play. The only information he gave at the time was that the scene was supposed to be short and had one animation. It was only supposed to be a minor follow to the jacuzzi event.

It felt pretty realistic to me, and that's coming from someone who never got mad at how the pace is slow or anything. I enjoy a game where the story can be thrilling with powerful emotion events. That is where people would disagree with you based on their play style in the game. From the beginning, Sophia started as a devoted and caring wife loyal to Liam and wouldn't dream of cheating. She lived in a family bubble. The text in the early part of the novel shows she was naive about sexual pleasure in a sense outside of the routine with Liam, that her sister Patricia is far keener.

The problem is how from two weeks can, Sophia, sexually naive, jump on, in this case, Sam's bones based on the amount of time that passed and she started at the beginning of the novel. That's where the time-lapse was supposed to fit in, to cover the short periods instead of being consecutive days. Also, keep in mind that progression wasn't made every day with every character. This also helps with people only focusing on one path instead of playing it unchained, but I still believe that the game was met to be played unchained. Some paths seem to be dependent on other paths and hints are hidden in other paths of the game. But L&P decide to remove the time-lapse and keep everything consecutive, which I see as a problem because it does feel that things are now rushed.

Maybe two weeks makes more sense than 2 months. She has a ton of drama, most notably blackmail, and no time to reset herself. Might be at a psychological breaking point.

If you read the text at the beginning of PD one, two, and three, I don't see how she made the advancements she did unless, once again, you play the story unchained, where scenes are dependent on each other. IMO, She was better off starting partially corrupted from the beginning of the story. L&P would have probably had an easier time writing this now.

She didn't even know what a Milf was at the start, and she is a teacher of high school kids. I was confused about that one.

If it was meant as a small follow up the story would be repetitive and that would be bad, for many are already hating him for it which makes no sense but going by your view Sophia should never cheat on Liam than how are we suppose to call this a porn game. It is us that make the decision for Sophia and you're maybe right if Sophia never cheats that can be also played by going the GW Path which has its own scenes. It just doesn't make sense to say Sophia should never cheat this early that's because we don't know her inner desires and her past experiences which we will see in Sophia/Dylan event talking about her first intercourse. For example if a wife is faithful that doesn't mean that she will not be tempted to cheat if her husband neglects her. It's not about the length of time it's about the quality time that changes people. Although I see that the pace of the game makes it hard to believe but it can't be done any better way and if you have I'd be happy to hear about them

This latest Sam event seems to be the one drawing the contention doesn't require Sophia to accept the blackmail though

It's not a porn game, per L&P. It's supposed to be an erotic novel, which is supposed to be different.

If you came to think this was to be a porn game, then you really need to read his about page for this game.

That's the entire purpose of the GW path is that she never cheats, and This is why you have certain parts on the filthy side to reconcile with Liam to bring you back to the GW side. I never said she shouldn't cheat. It supposes to take time for her to cheat. That is the premise for his outline of the novel. I think many people are not informed about what his novel is supposed to be about.
