Yes, it's a 'A Wife & Her Son,' AWAHS, or as I think of it now, DATBO, 'Dylan And The Bloated One,' or DATMJ, 'Dylan And The Milk Jugs...(ref. L&P). It's been publicly stated, by the Dev, that Dylan's appearances will be brought up to par with Sophia's, because apparently there's not enough of him so far. He's been an official "2nd MC" for several years, (which is a contradiction in terms), yet there's still no male protagonist tag, nor does the promo blurb make clear that this game is as much about the adventures of a teenage virgin schoolboy, as it is about his mother. All we can be certain of is that Dylan can never be "a wife & mother," unless he undergoes some drastic & painful surgery. He can certainly dominate the whole game, as he's doing at present. AWAM is so well-known that it would be detrimental for the Dev to retitle the game officially.So what I gather this isn't A Wife and mother anymore, but it's A Wife and mother and Dylan.
Originally it was intended that Liam would feature more prominently & that his POV would be in the nature of a dual game with his wife. His predictable unpopularity caused this plan to be dropped. Predictable, because teenage oedipal M/S incest stories usually contain a son who wants to replace his father, even to the extent of becoming a father himself, to his own brother/son, or sister/daughter. Genetic issues are not usually a problem because the fantasy finishes before the mother goes into labour. Fans don't want a hero of the story to be burdened with responsibilities, especially those that are in no sense erotic. (That's too much like RL, especially if consanguinity were to result in birth defects. That's nobody's idea of good or even average porn).
Dylan's popularity in polls must have been at least one reason for the Dev to re-interpret AWAM. ("It's where the market is"). As I've said before, however, even though Dylan's fans form the biggest voting bloc amongst the paying Patrons, (i.e. those fans who matter) doesn't mean that a majority of fans want him to take over. L&P uses the "First past the post" system in polls but the fact that Patrons have more than one vote complicates the outcome.
There's nothing intrinsically wrong about broadening a story to contain activities & POVs of other characters. When AWAM started & for the first couple of years, so many people were introduced, it seemed that it wouldn't be constrained by the standard, slightly claustrophobic, incest-driven family of 3D games but this was an illusion. It was easier to bring in new characters than it was to write a coherent story. Dylan's & other character's POVs, along with their stories, would, IMO, be more successful if the roll-out was faster & wasn't restricted by the event-based update strait-jacket.

First of all, I think some here should realize that AWAM is not a game about Sophia alone, but a game about Sophia in her role as "A wife and mother". Nowhere does this title specify that all scenes must be depicted from Sophia's perspective.
Telling a story from multiple perspectives is an often-used device. One example is maybe "The Godfather" were not all the scenes in this movie are told from just one perspective. Like in AWAM also in this movie it is not just about one charakter, but about the construct and dynamics in this family. The change of perspective is necessary to show the development of other characters and thus give depth to the story.
I think one of L&P's biggest mistakes was wasting time in the good wife path. Not because I dislike Liam as a character, or would like to see Dylan replace him, but because this path is too boring. In the current version of the game, Liam seems like an unnecessary appendage, which I think is a great pity.
I think that a little more liam in the game, apart from the good wife story, would have done quite well. At the latest, if he had noticed something of what was going on between Sophia/Ellie, Sophia/Dylan or Sophia/Sam.
I think that Dylan and Ellie are doing so well in the polls is because they are such important charakers in the game. The fact that this does not mean that the story is also told from Ellie's perspective is probably because the perspective of one of Sophia's children is sufficient and Dylan also brings in the other gender and thus more variety.
Yes, I also think that L&P opens too many side stories that have nothing to do with the actual theme of the game. So in my opinion you could delete Aiden (as probably the most unbelievable thug of all times) and especially the two side jobs from the game without really losing anything. The plot here has strayed so far from Sophia in her role as "A wife and mother" that the game is actually just wasting time here and everything is just unnecessarily stretched out rather than really telling a few storylines with depth.
Anyway, the current update is about Dylan and Ellie, and therefore alone a part of the core of the game, because they are both in the family that Sophia is "A wife and mother" of. That is what this game should be much more about and not less.

The only reason, I think, why Dylan and Ellie are popular is the incest aspect. It's a very popular fetish online. If Dylan was just another student, no one would care about him.
And thats fine with me, because I'm really only here because of the taboo relationships.

Sophia is not interested in adult males, we know this from when she made breakfast for the removers, nothing happened out of that and from the night watching the game and she dresses as cheerleader, nothing happened out of that, and nothing has progressed if ever so slightly, even with learning guitar and becoming secret girlfriend, nothing happened out of that either. It's time to let this game go, it's a dud.
Lol I dont understand when the game tag is cheating , corruption etc..people jump in to save the marriage of characters lol..that i found most funny in this community...In all cheating games there are few people who always complain about saving marriage and not to show cheating and incest or corruption..lol ...they should play happy marriage games with no NTR cheating and corruption.
One thing with the party and stuff is what L&P wants to push here. We have the Dylan/Ellie path, the Dylan/Christine path and to a certain degree Dylan/Sophia path, since t seems L&P has everything else bowing to this specific path.
I personally hope that Dylan and Christine can become a couple here. She might be, as you said, a bit of a troublemaker and leader of the pack, but years ago RL, during the first beach visit it already came up that Christine likes Dylan. This does not prevent her from teasing Dylan mercilessly, but already back then Christine had a soft spot for him.
So it is possible for them to form an emotional attachment and from all options for Dylan´s girlfriend, Christine is the one best fitting so far. Dylan is a good guy in most paths, so he can even out Christine´s "bad girl" inclinations, while he has enough hidden pervertness in him to be fitting/attractive to her wild side.
Those two could become a really good couple!
As for the party games, a lot is possible, from more development of Ellie/Dylan, Christine/Dylan, Ellie/someone else, maybe even threesome/foursome Christine/Ellie/Dylan/maybe.
There could be also some "food" for the Dylan/Sophia path, say during a "Truth or Dare" game it comes out that Christine does not only shower with her Mom, but is also a regular visitor in her Dad´s shower and a Daddy´s girl.
The Dylan version out for Sophia might use this info to convince Sophia for a common shower sometime later on.

I think noone would have a problem with the Ellie/Dylan update if the updates would come every 2-2,5 Month.But the thing that the next Sophia update is probably not before 2025 is simply annoying.
L&p could have let the Party/sleepover happen at the Parkers house.Liam and Sophia normaly would be on a Date so noone would be home.
Now Sophia is at home (because Liam rather watches Football with his boss then have a Date with his wife) allows them to have the party anyways.
Maybe let Sophia watch Dylan have fun with the girls and get a little jealouse.
So L&p wouldnt have to create a new location (saves time) and you have ALL important characters in the update and could get the Sophia/Dylan story going forward.

I'll add in a '7 minutes in heaven' game where Christine gets Dylan to go get more alcohol in front of the girls but tells him before hand to reenter the house from the back door and to wait in the closet with his eyes closed (and oh by the way, put on this lip balm - part of keeping the girls guessing).
Christine then sends in a girlfriend - kissing only, no touching with hands and, when she is done, she sends in Ellie for the same, then once Ellie is done, she goes in herself. When she and Dylan are done kissing, Christine reveals how hot it was for her to kiss Dylan after he made out with Ellie.... For all we know, Christine's wild side could include some bi time in a threesome (no sex here obviously - but some nice groping, breast play and french kissing would be within bounds at the party once the alcohol had its effect), laying the groundwork for more later (all if L&P chose to expand this story line or at least carry on some of its parts into the future)
There are a lot of possibilities at that party, and I hope that they are not wasted.

Hello, first of all I want to say that I think the game is amazing and this is demonstrated by the more than 6,500 pages of comments and more than 1,300 in the FanArt page.
On the other hand, I also think that the progress is very slow, even though the renders are absolutely stunning, although I don't understand the insults to the developer. I guess because of the frustration and anxiety to receiving more content.
However, there is something I still don't understand, and hence my question. We receive the public version, but is it possible that patrons are receiving more content in certain scenes or perhaps bonus scenes?
For example, it is possible that in the sex education scenes of the boys or in the nursing home with the elderly, something else happened that only the bosses could see. Maybe not all, but the great ones. Otherwise I don't understand how you can continue supporting a game that at this rate (more than a year and a half for a day, with 10 left) is supposed to end around 2038. Thank you.

You mean only the deeply vetted patrons, not the rats who'd come forward and leak the secret content? We cannot know for sure, but it seems to be highly unlikely - it would be the fourth parallel version of the game.
