I was led to believe that choosing between Sophia and Ellie would work like choosing between Ellie and Alyssa that it wouldn't end a path but just delay one? guess I was wrong.
It would depend entirely on how many Dylan points you can get during the Sophia/Dylan event. Even if it's just one, then playing the bonus storyline will rule out further Sophia/Dylan, since you generally need maximum relationship points (and more than maximum for the latest Dylan event) in order to continue the routes for the characters.

Plus there are flags that might be missing if you do the bonus storyline.

Well it makes sense that he would slow down. As he moves into the Sam event it's going to require entirely new locations and art. The Natalie event had the advantage of using preexisting locations and art, so it could be done "quickly". Nothing else matters in terms of this update's development speed until we know more about the Sam event. That event absolutely has the potential to drag this update out until 2022.
True. And has he actually taken vacation yet? We do know he took time off after the last update. But, was that his planned vay-cay or just a needed break.

Play the bonus storyline again? What makes you think I have played it once? All information I have about it comes from this thread, or from the code. I've openly stated I get out of the Dylan and Sam routes at the basketball game.
Then why are you making the statement you really do not know about? The code tells you the storyline, but it doesn't show the entire picture. The body language comes from the visual side, which you need to see when you're reading the story.

L&P doesn't lay out the emotional details in his story that often. That's where the visual comes into play.

But that doesn't matter anyway. If you have a look at both the Ellie and Sam routes, there is evidence on both sides that something might happen between them. Sam admits to finding Ellie attractive when he is talking to Sophia on day 18 in the backyard. And Ellie admits to finding Sam cute during one of the showers, he's just too young. There's nothing in the Ellie route to indicate a change in attitude in her opinion of Dylan.

I'm not saying that Ellie wont relax her disdain for him. Them having an amenable relationship would be a good thing. Only that it wont lead to sex.

That Christine is now in the bonus storyline opens up her as an LI for Dylan. Which I see as ar more likely than anything significant between Dylan and Ellie.
Alley_Cat, When you played or if you played Dylan's POV in the Yoga Event. L&P was creating an opening for that hook-up of Dylan and Marie, a love interest pair. However, as the story played out, Dylan looked at all the women in the Yoga event and spied on them, and Patricia made an advance in the touchy-feely department and commented to Dylan about looking at not only her but also Sophia. Also, Dylan has thoughts of a threesome in that car ride home.

The same thing could play out here too. Christine may be a love interest for Dylan, like Marie and Emma, in which Ellie could end up being almost like a little Patricia with some boundaries. I mean, the spa scene with Sophia/Ellie/Patricia should have hinted at that as she was acting like Patricia somewhat. Remember, L&P likes to use the same theme for multiple scenarios. Does the Blackmail theme ring a bell?

I'm not saying that Ellie wont relax her disdain for him. Them having an amenable relationship would be a good thing. Only that it wont lead to sex.
How do you know this??? Unless you have something from L&P saying this doesn't happen or have his script, I would not bet on it.

Lets not forget that Dylan isn't taking 45 minute Karate classes with Sensei Steve at the local dojo he's training three hours a day with a Navy Seal close quarters combat expert somebody that has likely used those skills to kill in combat situations plus Logan has no way of knowing Dylan is training (or even that he exists) so he has the element of suprise like with the hobos.
Basic rules of combat from a Sensei I had (who was in the Olympics for Judo among the seven styles he had black belts).

-- Joe bag of doughnuts loses to a street fighter, Street fighter loses to trained martial artist (trained), Martial artist loses to trained boxer, Boxer loses to trained wrestler.

I won't go into his rationale other than the amount of time listed, 3 hours a day over how many days 2, 4 6, 8... (what happened to his soccer team practice and homework) he has to learn and apply this, is minimal in L&Ps world.

Not seeing it unless Logan is merely a 'little leaf' beefcake and has some 'rhoid issues. Dylan could learn to do basic defense and that is about it. Which may be all he needs as he 'stands up' for Ellie. Just being in the way would be more important to Ellie than kicking Logan's ass. She would see it as way more courageous if 'little Dylan' was not backing down but taking the heat for Ellie.

Hmm, I'm not seeing that at all. Maybe this is going back several years so forgive me and my fading memory, but does Dylan seem like he thinks his sister needs to be "punched in the mouth", as you say? Pissed about the blue pill prank, yes, maybe jealous of her achievements, annoyed by her teasing, but doing something substantial enough/mean enough to cut her down?

How do you envision Dylan bringing Ellie down to earth? We expect there's no more blackmail being introduced so it's most likely not to do with any sort of threat of exposing her (whether her activities with Julia, Logan or even Sophia). Doing something as outrageous as she did to him with the blue pill prank or somehow sabotaging her school, dance, cheerleading, or her pursuit of either Julia or Logan (or even Sophia)? Any of those would just make Dylan an even less likable character, right?
Dylan was nt at home when Ellie and Jules first kissed, or the subsequent scene with them and Sophia. So far in game Logan has nt shown to visit the Parkers house so seems unlikely that Dylan has met Logan. And since the bathroom lock was repaired, Dylan might know that Ellie has showered with Sophia but would nt know what they have been up to.

Of the other choices maybe sabotaging her dancing as Dylan knows where the dance class was and Christina was there and knew about the Viagra incident.

But I hope L&P does nt go down that route.

Dylan was there when Ellie and Julia kissed. They might have gone further had he and Sam not come into the backyard to play on the tramampoline.
