That's not my point, which is that the only person really enjoying this visually would be Aiden & even he is at the back of the class. After the tour de force that was the 3rd task & the limitations of the classroom, it could be expected that the 4th task might not be the feast for the eyes that the 3rd one was but watching a woman grimacing & twisting & trying to look unconcerned, (while doing the internal monologue routine?), might not be all that great. I don't know whether the setting would multiply the effect, (I have my doubts) but if it did, this would only make the above-imagined reactions worse.
If she's going to moan in front of the class, which seems possible, there's going to be some explaining to do, as in she'll have to feign a fit, or pretend she's ill, neither of which resonates with eroticism. As I havn't seen the teaser it's hard to speculate further but from the descriptions it sounds like a remote control toy is a real possibility. This has all been done so many times elsewhere. I find myself asking, 'when is this set, The 90s?'
I agree with your point about the toys. It's difficult to anticipate how it will play out and how the eroticism of the scene, if any, will be conveyed to the reader. So far L&P did a great job (IMO), with obvious ups and downs, in taking the classic clichés of porn scene (photoshoot, drawing class, sauna, yoga, shower, massage, you name it) and give it a more erotic (or "classy", as per his words) take. Let's see how it goes for this one, provided it is really that as it seems.
From another point of view, though, this kind of task (the toys) could fit well story-wise for the Morello option. As you said, the only one really enjoying the task would be Aiden &C who are aware of Sophia's struggles and can exert his power at best, dominating and humiliating Sophia. That would serve well as the last straw for Sophia, who then will have no hesitation in using the Morello card, whichever the way will be. In this scenario the task would "only" serve as a "warning" for Sophia/the player, "do you really want to go down this road or want to call it off?" kind of thing.
It's just a thought that I had, obviously there are yet too many "ifs", from the toys being actually used to the obvious consequence of not using the Morello card (so the next tasks will start to be more extreme) or for those who has not that option, it would mean that a more corrupt Sophia (because of Larry) can stop the blackmail, which is kind of counterintuitive.
