At current rate, prior to #2 of 10, it is closer to 42+ years for the next 18 days so, 2063+. I think we will have a colony on Mars by then.

If the update is 1/3 of the usual size, how can it take the same amount of time to translate?

Translation is going to take usual approx 20 days or lesser this time? I hope it takes 2 days as it will justify his shorter updates most. But i believe it will take be somewhat between.
edit: whole day had taken 60 days to translate in past (i suppose last game day was divided into 3 parts, so 3*20(assuming lot of things) ). So guess is 6 days approx this time. just speculating to pass time

End February looking likely, surprisingly. What does that mean for following update, 0.65/.070? If it's a larger update should we anticipate late summer and/or early fall release? If so, probably only 2 updates a year anyway

He changed Render engines as far as I know also some other stuff. This is one that takes a bit longer but at the moment there is no reason why others would take longer afterwards

What was a normal size event for early days now is only 1/5.

It's anyone's guess. None of us know how long part 2/10 will take because there's no way to understand L&P's productivity. I've said before that part 2 will tell us more about his production rate than Part 1, but that doesn't mean it will be good. There's always something that delays development.

You know what some people are likely going to say to excuse this next festival of bullshit?
"L&P included a brand new storyline to the game. Ofcourse it'll take him longer to do the translation as he has to come up with new dialogue that's not pre-written! Ooga-Booga!"
I prolly shouldn't give people any ideas, but oh well. Anyway, fact is, if he's gonna finish up the CS+RS part within the next 2-3 days, he's got atleast 20 more days left till the end of February for PS+P&T, which is ridiculous considering this update will most likely have way less renders he has to photoshop+translate compared to .150. Either way, an end of February release would probably drag the pages translated from previously ~1,5 pages/day down to what, 3 sentences translated per day? Same for the photoshop part if both requires the rest of the month to complete. Same amount of time required for half(if not less) the content provided. Amazing!
I'm really hoping that this next update will have more renders than expected so this doesn't look as bad, but I doubt it.

Jeez man and here i was hoping at some point that he can release monthly updates now that he's making one event per update...
It's like you're from another planet. With L&P There are new and ingenious reasons for delaying the release with each update. And each time you and the other defenders find justifications as if to calm people down. And it's been going on for over two years now. In the next update he will still invent other excuses and once again you will come here to tell us the same falsehoods.
It seems that you are 5 or 6 people here on a mission to justify L&P bullshit whatever he does. Have the audacity to criticize his mistakes even once. Just to have a little more credibility. Because in case you don't know it, he's a human and humans make mistakes all the time. And his original sin here is the fact that he sees like all of us that at the current rate his game will take 40 years to complete and it's hilarious. And rather than thinking of ideas and asking for help to speed things up a bit, he prefers to change the render engine, add animations that nobody asked for, go from 720P to 1080P when he doesn't need that...etc.
knowing full well that it will just slow down the pace of development even more.
Do you think he doesn't know that everything he's done so far has only slowed the pace of development when it's already astronomical for a porn game??
Why every time the voices rise to ask him to do a little faster, he invents a new improvement that has nothing to do with the development speed as if to lure people while promising them that they will be very satisfied and it's worth the wait?
Do you think it's innocent and just because of his lack of organization?
Allow me to doubt it. Because it hasn't happened once or twice. I rather believe that it is a stupid stratagem which he has used too much and which is becoming blatant.
And it seems this scheme consists of gaining a month here, 2 weeks there and in the end it will make him a few more years of earnings.
Conclusion: Accelerating the pace of development for L&P is not a story of organization but rather a story of wanting. And it's clear he doesn't want that.

There is only a 4-day difference between the 2 versions for P&T and 16 pages of text between them. However, it took almost the same amount of time. IMO, he should have been able to translate v0.150 in about a week, when you do the comparison.

I'm so curious about this as well as for the number of renders.
About which he's shown innovation & imagination. They're qualities a good writer needs! Just a little positive statement to make about a negative state of affairs. [It's hard to be positive when 1/10th of a day is going to take 3 & a half to 4 months but we've got to try.....don't we?]. Part of me is almost looking forward to what the next 'festival' will consist of. Assuming, for now, this update gets finished in February or March, the next should be out by April.
