Guess you never heard of immersion. That or you are the type of guy that is portrayed by this game.
For me the game sucks. It is totally unbelievable from my point of view.
I'm not the type of guy that tolerates a woman who disrespects me or doesn't trust me or herself.
In RL I divorced my first, wife and took on the responsibility of raising my son alone.
If she hid the job by claiming to have had another job and he trusted her. That would be more believable.
If she used a part time cover job to hide a second job or just claimed she picked up a second job because the hours were not enough again more believable.
But saying I got a job and don't want to tell you what it is. Sets off every possible red flag.
1. She doesn't trust you to know what the job is.
2. She figures the job isn't something you would approve of.
3. If the job isn't something you would approve of she doesn't need to be doing it.
4. The fact she would go ahead and do the job shows she has no respect for you.

If you are the kind of guy that accepts that. Well it is probably either you have no self respect or are two scared to risk going out and looking for someone who does. Neither of those are good. Both are pathetic as hell.
The fact is he did use that in this game so that means his intended audience is people that can accept that.
Which give your response puts you in the category.
Not every story is written for everyone to enjoy. None are. I wasn't his intended audience.
You clearly are. That is good you enjoy it. I don't just that simple.
I like stories I can relate to. You may not care so much or maybe you relate very well to the character in the story.
Either way not my problem or concern. Glad you like it for whatever reason it is you like it. I simply don't.
This is the main reason why i got disappointed in the last few updates... Developer picked perfect model for wife with the bunch of material but he just don't want to use it..
I read the novel, was disappointed and concluded that the author is lying. Quote from the author: "IMPORTANT: This game is a visual novel with choices and small interactive elements". This is a lie, there will be a rail story about a white spineless slug and a cuckold, his whore wife will be fucked by the entire migrant camp and all the other characters. Let me remind you that Autumn warned that migrants would fuck her at work, but the wife VOLUNTARILY and CONSCIOUSLY agreed to this and went to work for the migrants. There will be no other route.
The author did not give a choice on how to treat his wife's betrayal, there will be no choice in the next update either. The white spineless slug will bend under Autumn and offer her his ass, there will be no other options. He will unconditionally accept all of Autumn's demands. MC will forgive his wife, forgive Autumn, forgive everyone and continue to communicate with them. Whore wife will forgive Autumn and leave her as a friend and continue to fulfill her demands. Whore wife will forgive migrants and will forgive them every day at work.
The linear plot will be masked by secondary choices (choose the color of MC's socks), which have no significant plot significance.
P.S. Based on the last episode, it is very easy to understand whether it is rape or not. If the whore wife immediately quits work the next day, if she writes a statement to the police, if she breaks off relations with Autumn forever - this is rape. All other options are voluntary and conscious betrayal of the MC and cheating, the whore wife voluntarily fucks migrants.

You are looking from your own bell tower. In your post, everything is you and you, your respect. But what about respect for your wife? Why should your wife adjust to you? You did not love and did not respect your wife. You were just a tyrant keeping a bird in a cage. A loving wife will do anything to help her husband. And I like another plot. The main character becomes gay and offers his ass instead of his wife's ass to Samuel and his comrades. Thus saving his wife and mother? How do you like such a crazy idea. For some reason you have already decided for yourself how it will all end, but these are only your assumptions, or everything can go the other way.

The collective farm is a voluntary matter, no one forced her to marry, no one forces her to live with her husband. I always have a question in such stories: "Was she happy with everything before the wedding? Did MC fuck longer before the wedding?" In a marital relationship, the rights of the parties are equal, if you are not happy with the conditions, get a divorce. Divorce does not prohibit her from loving her husband. She despises her husband, she loves not him, but her love for him. She does not deserve forgiveness. She will not change and will always act this way.
As I said above, the wife will forgive Autumn and they will remain friends, this means that the slut wife fully approves of all of Autumn's actions, past and future. This cannot be forgiven, throw her out to the migrants and forget.
I like the game A Couple's Duet of Love & Lust. In it, the MC kicks out his slut wife and lives happily with a new girl. The MC successfully confronts the slut wife and her friend. In this story, there will be no such route, there will be a white spineless slug.

And where in the game did you see the main character's wife fucking migrants? Yes, there was oral sex. But forgive me, under the influence of weed. My point is different than Nafig 's although I do see his point also.
My point is this is more of a kinetic novel than a game. Your choices so far have been almost meaningless. Katherine no longer want's anything to do with once you lose the Shop Manager position. Your secretary even if you accumalated all the points means nothing. And I can almost guarantee the secretary will start sleeping with the MC's friend Rick. So he is going to get cuck'd all the way around and if you look at the game it was meant to be that way. An illusion of control while railroading down one path.
From a game development perspective it makes it easier. If you've ever coded, it means less paths much easier logic decisions to deal with. It also allows for the lazy writing and weak story. If decisions actually mean something and can actually alter a path that makes the decisions and writing the story so much easier. Think about it? What non cuck male would let a guy stay at his knowing the guy is trying to b*ng your wife and keep in mind the MC isn't cuck'd at that point.
All I have to write is guy "a" b*ngs your wife. Guy "b" bangs your wife. Hell if I want the neighbors dog b*ngs your wife. It's what the weak simple story allows.
Someone else said the devs don't come on F95 and would prefer the game not be on F95. If I were them I would avoid here also. If I can keep my donors/supporters away from legit criticism it helps to ensure the money keeps flowing.

I will add to this piggy bank the episode with the party at MC's house. There are many comments on the forum about "wife fucks with Trevor behind the closed door of MC's FAMILY bedroom." This scene is graphic and distracting. More important, in my opinion, is the scene where the wife and Autumn kick MC out of the house, sending him to get wine. As MC leaves, his wife calls him with a shopping list. PLEASE NOTE – the phone is in the hands of the wife! When MC returns home, his wife and Autumn are gone, they don't need wine. Then MC hears sounds of sex from his bedroom, his wife's phone ringtone in the bedroom, and his wife comes out of the bathroom.
There is a version that logically explains sex in the marital bedroom of strangers (extremely unpleasant and cynical act) and the wife's phone in it. The wife and Autumn deliberately kick MC out of the house. The slut wife, Autumn and Trevor (the three of them) go to fuck, the wife HERSELF brought them to the marital bedroom. Seeing MC return, the slut wife hurries to the bathroom to wash off the smell of sex and forgets the phone.
I'll add an episode with a dream about Rick, it could be a memory.
