I don't know. They might have payed for the clips or the clips are in the public domain. There's plenty of free shit on sites like pornhub released for free as a demo of a full product. Although, you might be right. I just wanted to play Devil's advocate

thats not how copyright works. even if it was posted for free, there is still ad revenue, and the creator owns them, unless someone else does, but posting something online does not make it public domain. technically, unless the creator contacted all the companies who own the photos and videos he uses, he is breaking copyright law by making money off of it.

I'm aware, I just used pornhub as an example since I'm honestly not well versed in porn sites and of course you need to specify that your footage is public domain or the site that you post must specify that anything on it public. But again, I don't know if there's a porn site like that and to be honest as long as the creator doesn't make a fuss about it then it's fine.
