I say play it for the laughs. clearly one of the funniest games on f95. The Dad is super funny!

I don't know what to make of this. There's a few funny bits, but mostly... not. The father using the same "I don't like anybody else" bit on everybody is by far the bright spot in the humor here, though I'd bet on that being the most understated bit in the entire game, so... yeah. However normally this kind of thing would have me cringing far too much to continue, but I'm not really getting that feeling yet.

Mostly it's just some disappointment that the dev decided to follow the rather tired outlandishly bombastic humor bit, when they clearly have the chops to write a seriously funny game (imo, obviously) that's not so, well, outlandishly bombastic. I don't think I've even seen any hints in all the other games of this type that those writers could be funny, no matter how hard they tired (and they tried - way too hard). Finally I see a dev that seems like they could pull off a comedy game... and it's more of this crap. Bleh.

Guess I'll keep going until the cringe kicks in and I can't take it. But if the dev decides to make another comedy game, and if they decide to tone it down basically all the way, I think I can see some hope for a comedy game existing that I might enjoy. What an odd feeling, I'd thought that was impossible - though those are some pretty big 'if's.

I've had piss poor results with Grammarly, to be honest. LanguageTool (google it) is so much better. I use it a lot for professional proofreading and the difference is night and day.

I have reached until the Rolling babes when playing this yesterday, and lemme tell you this. 40mins, no porn, no lewds, just love(ly) comedy. It was great. Really great. I'm already soo hooked.
