I have a Radeon RX 7800XT. If it takes too much time to get it to work, no worries. I know AMD GPU people are in the minority.

The debug menu actually really wrecked saves haha, which is why I hid it in the latest updates! It's really only meant for developer use anyway, so it's not something I want to expose to players. You can flip a variable if you really need it lol.

Yeah I understand that, just when you don't program in every possible relic interaction (which obviously isn't a realistic expectation) the debug menu is kinda necessary to simulate those interactions, like using two Skewers for teleportation.

I only used the debug to avoid the frozen area because of "The End" monster that follows you and kills you since I can't find any info on how to get the purity gene to avoid it, Cherry has the perk but I can't get it from her using the shrine that allows you to swap curses.

The Purity Gene is not a curse, nor is it something you can acquire. It wouldn't even make sense for getting the Purity Gene to be possible in the game considering the whole, those with the Purity Gene cannot descend or get relics unless accompanied by someone without the Purity Gene. Also just in general you're not meant to avoid the Spectre of the End, it's just meant to be a time limit mechanic.

Yeah the generation time has doubled for me with the fix and using the --use-split-cross-attention protip. lol my pc is too much of a potato. Massive thanks all the same fam.

Abyss Diver was originally an image-based CYOA that Floric then converted into an interactive version which has since long grown past the original CYOA, with the Spectre of the End being part of that original CYOA. Though the time limit is 900 days, I really don't see how anyone can actually use up all that time, if it wasn't for my save corrupting I would've reached the bottom of the Abyss within the first year and it wasn't even like I was rushing. That being said if you really want to avoid the Spectre you can just use the debug menu to change what day it is if you're getting too close to the time limit, rather than just outright avoid an entire Layer.

In settings go to the "Other Settings" section, the first setting should be "Allows you to hide the sidebar with a toggle button", enable that and just close the sidebar when you're not using it if it causes problems.

We added experimental AMD support in 1.3.1c, so that should hopefully work for you!

Hmm, not sure what would be causing that tbh, but if you're very concerned, you can delete the local-gen folder and still play the game entirely normally, just without the local image generation feature. Or just don't run the script, I suppose. The whole thing is open source, so we aren't trying to sneak anything in.

Must be your detection engine that you're using. VirusTotal uses a bunch of them together and there are no flags.

I use Kaspersky, tho its interesting that virustotal say's it ought to be okay with it. I'm not familiar with virustotal, but I'll try downloading the software again to see if I get the same results, also I'll look into the ui to see if i can get more detailed info(I'm not confident)

Nah don't worry about it, anti-viruses can sometimes be pretty inconsistent when it comes to false positives, I've definitely had files that were flagged by my anti-virus the first time I downloaded it, but after deleting and re-downloading it my anti-virus was fine with it.
