It was a fun game to play through, there were some somewhat annoying [REDACTED] but easy enough to [REDACTED]. I wouldn't consider this a hentai game for how minimal the H content actually is, but the mechanics are fun if you put the time into actually setting it all up. The mechanics are definitely the most impressive part of this game and I'm interested to see other games with TF elements adopt something similar, looking at you CoC 2.

Minor (major?) issue: The vampire curse makes it impossible to progress for some longer time sinks. Like, even if you have companions you can siphon blood off from you still just straight up die.
Overview:
You've somehow found yourself at Outset Town, on the edge of an enormous hole that goes deep into the ground. No one knows how deep it goes and no one knows what lies in the deepest layers of the Abyss. What people do know is that there are incredible wonders to be found, but also a corrupting miasma that infuses the entire area. No one who ventures deep into the Abyss comes out looking the same way they went in.
Now, you have a chance to explore the Abyss and see what you can discover, and see the costs you'll need to pay for those discoveries.
Staff Note If you attempt to share or request mods to circumvent the failsafe the dev has put in to prevent content from violating rule 7. You will have your account banned. You have been warned
There is so so much potential for thos game. I'm playing it cause it's actually interesting and fun just add more content plz. Add more content to everything and theirs enough relics and transformations now. Add more interactions and mysteries to the abyss. I only went halfway through made in abyss so in this game I'm actually exploring the mystery of the abyss which is sick. 10/10 game but just more content then it'll really live up to it's 10/10
The dev really needs to cache the current state of the character and _not_ hit the OpenAI API to regenerate an image on _every_ click. That's just wasting my money, and slowing the game.
It shouldn't be reloading on every click, only when you click on the image generation page. Is that what you mean? Or do you mean every click in the actual game?

Im not sure if its been mentioned yet, but it looks like the ability to use Superpositional Skewer by the One-sided Tunnel is not possble presently there is a pop up error
"An error has occurred. You may be able to continue, but some parts may not work properly.
Error: assignment to undeclared variable tunnelSkewer."
its stopping me from effectively getting the Pocket Hoard up and working without losing everything else

Thank you for the in depth feedback! There should be more companion events and interactions coming in 1.4, so you can look forward to that! I'm also working with someone and looking into a system that would automatically insert the player into CG scenes with AI (using a set pose, but filling in the character based on their state), though that may be a bit far off. But I may just add some more CGs in the meantime, I think, depending on how much time I have.
And I'm glad you liked the interactions with Emily and similar things! I'm definitely planning to have more of that in the future, and I meant her quest to be a test of how well that works before adding more of that sort of content.
And we can add tiger options as well haha.
And I'm planning to do some major gameplay changes in 1.4, including major overhauls of some fundamental systems. Since, as you noted, the game still feels more like a CYOA, but I want to move more in the direction of being an actual game, with more dynamic responses and open solutions, rather than fixed outcomes for specific things. And these overhauls include the process of movement, so I'm hoping that could give it a little more of a grounded feeling that you correctly note that it lacks right now, so that time feels like it's really moving when you travel instead of just spending some abstract resource.
I'm not sure I understand your proposal for overhauling the corruption system though, so I can't really speak on that.
And a gallery is an interesting idea! It's something I could definitely look into, especially as more CGs get added over time!

Thank you so much! If you like the game that much, it would mean a lot if you could leave a review here with your honest feelings! That helps other people find the game as well, and when more people play, it both gives me more ideas and keeps up my motivation to keep working on it!

『Was mostly just random rambling about corruption, but to explain what I had in mind bit: I had a bit of tough time looking at corruption as actual corruption of my character. It gave me more of impression of currency that I was rewarded for doing abyss things or taking curses (which are mostly the lewd things). Then there's the fact that you 'spend it' on taking relics or ascending floors (which are kinda the regular sfw items and activities) kinda further solidified that impression. The nail in coffin was obtaining 'corruption' when equipping protective gear built from tree bark - that was hardest to visualize.』
『So I kinda bounced some ideas in my head and figured it might also be fun if grabbing relics/curses was more like the roguelike/roguelite games giving you options of rewards/curses with them directly applying without use of corruption as the medium currency. Then the corruption can just act as it's own separate meter, and protective gear also can kinda function as protective thing that allows you to pick up relics while sacrificing gear in place of taking curses~』
also another alternative could be to just have the game generate prompting code somewhere that you could just insert into whatever service you are using.
Well, if you use promts like futa, futa_bulge, and a lot of others it works just fine. I recomend also using full_body for full body perpective. This ai is simply awesome and totaly offline. I wish in future there will be more games using this tech. For abyss diver the game is 4\10 in my opinion, please add auto-ai-generation with sliders or instances, where new image should be generated.
honestly the best ai model out there for this kind of game would be Pony SDXL as it can do furries very well, i've no idea what models this built in local generator is using.

Yeah, right now corruption is meant to be a currency rather than a metric, so rather than something that tracks how corrupted you are, it's a method of forcing players to balance their interest in getting new Relics with the necessity of pushing their own limits for Curses. So while I've heard that confusion before, I think I'm going to keep using it as is for now haha. Though there will be some major system changes coming in 1.4 that I think will make the game feel much better!
i live in canada, would putting 5 dollars be enough for OpenAI image generation? FloricSpacer
also i should ask before i even try, how censored is the OpenAI method?
im also considering trying the comfy method, i have a rtx 4060ti and 16gb of ram which might be enough.

I know $5 USD is enough, you may need to do a bit more for CAD, but I'm not sure. And the OpenAI method is totally censored. It can produce some good images, but they will be 100% SFW and not lewd at all, whereas the local version ranges from SFW to extremely NSFW depending on the context and state of your character.
Do you mean you have 16GB of VRAM or system RAM? If you have the 4060ti with 16 GB of VRAM, then you are absolutely able to run the local AI image model! And even if you have the 8GB version of the card, I think it would probably still work. It may be worth trying either way, and if you run into issues, we have tech support on our Discord server.
And yep, we do generate the prompt! And technically, you can actually swap out the model for another one by switching the file and keeping the same file name, though there are some major differences in how well the prompt performs, so I'd generally just recommend sticking with what we've set up. For example, Flux has a very different prompt style than SD 1.5 vs SDXL vs Pony models. And in fact, our base model is a PonyXL-derived checkpoint plus a style LoRA, and using our custom prompt field, there have been some players who are able to get great furry images and posted them on our Discord server along with tips for the extra details they added!
But there's certainly more we can do, so we're hoping to make the system better and even more user-friendly over time. Since my goal is really to make it just feel like a magical integrated part of the game, rather than requiring any sort of technical expertise or knowledge about AI! And I think we've gotten closer to that than any other game I've seen, but I definitely think we have more improvements we can make! So if you want to help out or give your detailed suggestions, I'm always open to hearing them and getting more contributors for the game!

too bad you can't integrate something like civitai's own image generator, it does allow API keys for apps to interact with it.
i have heard that even a 8gb vram is enough to get even flux to work locally as long as you use one of the smaller models.
BTW do you need comfy already installed to use the Local AI.
Also for the "generate prompt" i meant more as an alternative maybe providing the prompt on the side if you don't have any AI connected to the game or in the menus or something like a clipboard.
My laptop's GTX 1650 Ti with 4 gbs is able to run it (but I also have a fair few gbs of non-dedicated memory from my beefed up RAM so the dedicated vram might not be enough alone)
