The library it's mentioning is hiding in Blaire's dreamscape. To rebuild the ladder you need to have completely learned woodworking, it takes a few sessions. If you end up needing more precise help myself or somebody else can probably help you out.

Its coming along, I redid a lot of the UI and starting proofreading a few passages, then did all of them. I have all the content done for this update but I am just finalizing things.

I have to admit something... I am sure it is a common enough name and all, but I had a bit of a laugh when I noticed it was Ray Charles asking about adding pictures to the game.
Short of Myscra deciding to commission a bunch of art, or designing a bunch of very customized 3D models this game is unlikely to ever have (much) art. The last thing this game needs is a bunch of generic live action porn with people who look nothing like the characters they represent.

As of right now I have tentative plans. I have built a patreon with the goal of gaining money for some art but I feel guilty since my work has slowed so I never activated it. No real point in doing a patreon if I cant guarantee a set schedule of releases.

Ha, I just noticed the name myself. As mentioned above, I would like to commission art and have even talked to an artist to get an idea for pricing but apparently they want money instead of well wishes and my eternal gratitude (who knew?). I've checked out some of the 3d stuff and just noped out of the program.

I also agree with the live porn. 1) I will never find a person that is exactly what I want. 2) I dont want to limit myself to the available material. 3) I would rather not use other people's art/pics without permission

I don't think art is really needed. Your writing is illustrative enough to build a very good mental picture of the characters, and part of the fun of AIF in my opinion is the ability to imagine the characters in the context of your own preferences. For example, my Kiara looks suspiciously similar to Velma Dinkley...

At any rate, I would say focus on continuing this intriguing story and don't worry about art for now as it'll only add distractions. This game is good enough that I'd expect at least a moderate amount of Patreon support, which as you said could be used to drum up some commissions later.

And in case it weren't obvious from my review... well done Myscra on IMO one of the best porn games of 2020.

I'm hesitant to say because 1.5 has been kicking my ass when it comes to self-imposed deadlines. I am hoping to get everything done at the latest by the 14th.

Thanks for the kind words. Since this is only my second venture (first serious)* into this area of writing I have been pleasently surprised by the response.

There's a game I haven't thought of in a long time. IIRC I ended up turned into a tentacle monster while training her.

One thing that I enjoy is that the characters have interesting quirks that make them seem fleshed out. Even Liane, with her handful of scenes, feels to me like she has at least as much depth as many main characters from other games.

A few things after playing for a bit:
I admit I liked to old font more but this is ofc subjective.

And during the end of arming Kiara this happened:


Also looking at the code I think you need to insert the new missions stuff in both the sidekick if clause and the partner elseif clause of the dreamexit 4 event.

I am having font issues. The font that indicates the MC thinking is absolutely tiny. I can just read it if I zoom the page by a factor of 200 or so, but then the other text is huge, so I have to keep switching back and forth.

Edit: I fixed it myself by editing the html. It is a style called .faint which was set to 5px. Doubling to 10px makes it just legible.
