Indeed, I definitely feel for all characters here, some different than others of course, and I definitely care what happens to them. Like I've said in a few posts already; this VN is an absolute masterpiece, it has everything, it has it all - drama, romance, bromance, emotion and feelings provoking moments, great and realistic story, humor and then of course the H-scenes, it's just epic
Spoiler alerts are for spoilers this comment reveals nothing pretty sure everyone already knows this game involves choices they know bad things will happen to the MC and if they haven't even played it yet then they have no idea who Ana is who what she may or may not have done and if they have played it they still have no idea what I'm referring to.

Bravo, Dr. Pink Cake. If I think about it, all my most favourite VN's had some kind of captivating drama where things went to shit suddenly. This is the first non-Japanese VN that reached that kind of quality for me.

Lets just say that there's plenty of humor, there's romance, there's drama, and the further you go in the story, the deeper and darker the drama actually gets, and the writer(s) of the story definitely has managed to create a story that will provoke emotions, make you feel certain type of ways, may it be for characters or the stuff that happens, or both.
It's an emotional roller coaster, up and down and side to side, and that's the whole point, that's what the dev is aiming for.
I HIGHLY recommend playing this one, HIGHLY.
This is definitely one of my top VNs this year, probably my choice of GOTY for "adult" VNs, and there are a couple other pretty damn good ones . Weather anyone agrees or disagrees with the storytelling choices, this is a properly well made visual novel. The visual aspect is amazing, but the novel aspect is definitely the star.

Depraved Awakening is actually another VN that fleshes emotions out of me, I definitely feel for the characters and the situations, it's just a much darker story, a noir crime thriller that gives me Sin City vibes, same with His Legacy

I also highly recommend playing this and show support if you can. There will be tough choices you will have to make and that's what I love about it. DrPinkCake doesn't make it easy Lol.

Yes indeed, I highly agree with that.
I'm a little indecisive though which would get the "VN of the year" trophy: this one, or Depraved Awakening. All I know is that I absolutely love both for their amazing stories alone. One is a very dark noir crime thriller, the other is a realistic drama, both at the top of their own genres, haha.

Those two girls that bumped into Megan in the bathroom, that's Mei and Nicky from @MrKnobb 's "Retrieving the Past" VN, Nicky is the daughter of the story's main love interest, while Mei is Nicky's best friend. That whole situation in the bathroom was just a cameo appearance. And that guy on stage playing the guitar, that's Jensen, Rena's uncle, and he's the MC in Retrieving the Past.
