In my book, the personality and how a character is written does a lot when choosing a favorite. As you have no clue of who these characters are, this survey can only be based on visual appearance. I'm interested in seeing if there are any trends in what you like. With the exception of a nudge or two on some dials, the character designs are more or less final, but the result will be useful to me in many ways.
I'm also interested in knowing what you really loved and if there was something that didn't appeal to you (Use the comment section for this). You may vote for as many or as few of the choices as you like.

As this is a survey, it is open for the public.

Cheers

I have finished the 0.6.0 version. So far is a pretty good game, although... like some people say, this is not an usual dating/flag novel game; in a sense, the game forces the path... Megan is bound to be romantically involve with the MC and vice versa. Melissa and Megan are bound to have a love triangle with MC and vice versa. Dick and the Step-Dad are bound to have this antagonism with MC and vice versa. And Ana path.... and of course the ending, which i'm thinking that probably is a hoax or hasn't been flagged properly with the rest of the game.

Acting Lessons 0.6.0 - 9/10 Amazing characters personality and design. 10/10 Dialogues.

EDIT: Voting for Isabella, those eyes.

Think Sage would look better with blue eyes and Maya with emerald/green eyes... Isabella’s waist in my opinion is to thin ( Makes her look unnatural - she doesn’t seem in proportion ) - why not widen it (her waist) after all some people prefer bigger girls.. Josy is spot on ( looks like Megan?) It’ll be nice to find out what their characters/personalities are like :)

Well congrats both to the author and the community in getting me to finally make my first post after more than a year of lurking.

I'm not sure if this was addressed between page 235 and now, but i felt strongly enough about what I wanted to say that I skipped to the end, so sorry if someone else made this point.

Hmm, Ana has her own route. Now i wonder if she is genuinely sorry, because from the last dialogue with her seemed like she is. Dunno. Beside the fact that i don't want to choose between Missy and Megan (i really want to have an option to get a happy ending with both of them), i'm really curious how Ana's route is going to play out ^_^

Is it just me or the developers deliberately makes the ''green eyes'' unnatural. Same thing is in the Milfy City too. When they give green eyes to characters, it is just too bright to be looking like real eyes. They suddenly looks like disguised mosnters in human body.

I know what you mean, but he had a poll and the eyes you see were the winning choice, so that seems to be the preference?

Yeah maybe democracy is overrated... i’m glad that the good doctor had already written the story - there are a lot of other games out there that have negatively been influenced by polls - maybe we should trust the experts a little more often...

I think most of them are using the following asset:

It only sticks out to me because we did some test renders with this product and our characters looked as you described, "Mosnters in human body".

We threw it out and went back to the original model eyes. I mean, they look good in the advertising, but in play, they were just too vibrant.

Let's dissect this a bit. It's an interesting argument, but I don't know how accurate it is. It assumes that because life can feel random, randomness in storytelling is good. It's a similar argument to the one, which you also make... that life can suck, therefore it is realistic when a story sucks. I would argue that the things people complain about are the things that aren't very true to life at all. But let's put that aside. Let's just look at the issue of randomness. Or your assertion that real life doesn't have foreshadowing. I respond this way: In life, everything actually does have foreshadowing, you just don't KNOW about it.

Things happen for a reason. A random gas explosion in life isn't actually random. It can happen because of myriad reasons. There was a leak in the basement, someone forgot to turn off the stove entirely, a man tried to kill his wife purposefully... any of those reasons would cause it. Now it may SEEM random to the person experiencing it... but in the story of the house that blows up, or if you prefer, the person whose house blows up... there are steps that take place in order for that to happen. That's cause and effect, and cause and effect is basically foreshadowing.

Without that causal link, then things often feel random.

There will be two more. One this month and then the final one sometime after (not being snarky, it just may take longer due to it wrapping everything up).

Mr. Mustache, I'm not aiming this post at you, I just quoted you because I'm edging my way into your conversation.

I may regret chipping in on this topic, especially since I haven't a played up to this point yet. I don't know that nature of the debate has an answer, but my two cents...

The saying "life imitates art" comes to mind. In creative writing there are tools like foreshadowing, which when applied, frequently do improve the general acceptance and enjoyment of a story but don't necessarily mimic life. Entire series have been written about the do's and don'ts of creative writing. But these tools are really only conventions that aid a story in appealing to the greatest number of people and helping it gain acceptance by the widest possible audience. It's possible for a writer to ignore these rules and still find success (Dostoevksy comes to mind with his stream of consciousness writing).

I think the more a game or story is meant to be a simulation, the more randomness an audience may be willing to put up with. But at the end of the day, that acceptable level of randomness is entirely subjective. It's right up there with, is Jackson Pollock a talented artist or a worthless hack? (I'm voting hack but there are plenty who would disagree).

The dev should just be aware that most people are going to rate how acceptable the randomness is based on traditional conventions of creative writing. If devs aware of that and want to buck the norm, good for them! Something amazing may result. But people can't be blamed for wanting something that conforms to the more traditional method of story telling with which they are comfortable and familiar with.

Salute mates!

I blame them. All of them. Philistines all!

I vote for the "something amazing" over the "same old something"
