Yes, a happy ending with a girl whose best friend is dead just because she had the trouble to meet you. She won't be in trauma and resenting you. This relationship will lead to happiness and children.

In real life many couples knowing each other entire lives break up because of tragic loss of children or other trauma. MC and whatever girl lives are knowing each other for maybe a month. You think it likely that after death that happened because of MC that they walk off into happiness? Bull shit.
Almost as bad as saying that death was good thing so no girl gets heart broken which some in thread say.

Fuck this game.
CGI is good, no bugs (not that there will be in a visual novel). But the story is shit. Not because it's weak, but because it's shit. The dev is actually a decent writer, made me care about the characters. But the last episode... no, sorry, fuck it.

Well, that would be an Authors saving throw if I ever saw one. But I doubt it, there are hints about what is going on. I just never expected to have the happiness be so suddenly and savagely yanked away from me. Not in this cheap, comicbook manner. And it is a cheap-shot. There were many other ways to get there, without robbing me of what I struggled to achieve. But you know - any criticism will be reflected with "muh, artistic vision". Sad, since otherwise it is one of the more high-quality games around here.

megan is the most generic / boring love interest ever in a game
Melissa however is really lovely
so to be honest episode 6 didnt bother me that much even though it really sucked
BUT episode 7 is one of the biggest jokes ever
its like episode 7 was outsourced to india or russia or something
seriously it didnt even feel like the same game or the same story who the hell wrote that ?
and for the muh artistic expression folks out there stop shilling excuses for bad writing
no matter what ending this dev writes there wont be a good ending
because the dev shot himself in the foot he did the dumbest thing ever he broke the mc
there is some shit you do not recover from so an ending where mc is in an asylum heavily sedated
so he doesnt care anymore is probably the closest you can get to a happy ending .
oh btw the ending of episode 7 feels like a plot twist just to have a plot twist ...seriously bad writing

The "everything comes out roses" scenario gets played out too often. That ending is a dime a dozen, so what's wrong with something different? The writing was good enough to make you pissed. Very pissed, when it threw you for a loop and changed tones. Character development was so good that you freaked when you were forced to choose one of them. All of this was written into the story before the author began the first rendering, so this was all premeditated. Indeed, some things could have been written different, like forcing Megan upon you, but that part was vital to what Leah does at the end of episode 7 and beginning of episode 8. This was Dr Pink's first try, and I applaud the gonads he showed in making his vision happen.

Holy jarring tonal shift, Batman! What the fuck just happened? This was a great (if somewhat confining) game, that suddenly became a depressing dumpster fire. I know that not all stories can end happily, I'm willing to accept that even in my porn games... but this just feels like a bait and switch.
I'm down for a dark, grim story... but when 80% of it is spent setting the story up as a light, comedic romp and you change that in an instant with basically no warning or foreshadowing... that is not the way to tell a satisfying story.

i think...imho...now that the story has taken a tragic turn..pissed off many...to try and "fix" it and give smiley happy endings would make it even worse..we have now(most of us) accepted that things went to hell bad..thus all the endings must be tinged with tragedy...we cannot have a "happy" ending..we can have a "content" ending..but not a happy one..so i expect..if DrPinkCake is a good writer he'll avoid a sudden change of tone and make it all cheerful and weee.

hi Dr Pink i really love this game bc of the realistic writing. in fact i used to have a finance just for 2 years and things turn to shjt. then i met new girls but i cant love properly. im as confused in life as the main lead here. im 25 btw, have a small illegal business but then things turn to shjt and here i am, jobless and playing visual novel

the writing is good. you never know what going to happen in life, whether u want it or not. maybe some of the audience here too young & have not experience much of life.
