By a chance of timing, I first saw this game just yesterday and downloaded it simply for some porn. In a lot of these games the writing is subpar and I skip through a lot of it and use a walkthrough for the choices.
But about the time I reached the first improv class I had started actually reading the text and realized that I was going to need to start again and do an actual playthrough. My own choices, no walkthrough. So I did, and ended up getting more attached to these characters than any of the other games I've played here. It probably helps that what the MC went through with Ana is not terribly dissimilar from what happened to me many years ago among other things.
I actually didn't mind the drama with Liam; it seemed a little out of place at first but by then I had realized this wasn't really a porn game; it was a drama with sex scenes. And the fact that you had to actually kind of pick a girl as opposed to all the girls being fine with you fucking all the others was refreshing in this case.
Then it happened. That choice was a fucking gut punch and I was furious. I literally deleted the game and vowed not to come back after that, that's how it made me feel. But then this update came out today and I broke down and redownloaded it and played through to my ending. After the way the previous chapter left me feeling I needed some closure and I got it. I got my happy Megan Ending and that's the only ending I'm ever going to get.
I have to say I've never been so torn about a game before. I'd write a review but honestly don't even know how I'd score it. I think I'm still kind of mad that it took such a turn without any real warning and I sure as hell wasn't expecting it or ready for it. On the less emotional side of things I also think that everything to do with Peter wasn't very well thought out.
