To be honest, I also had some IRL issues.
I went through a breakup, and there were problems with work too.
A lot of people (myself included) think making a game won’t take much time before actually trying it, but that’s just not true. Up until releasing V.05, I was spending an average of 2–3 hours a day on game development—while also working a regular job.


I actually wanted to trim this game down, just like you suggested.


Sure, some of the criticism has been harsh, but a lot of it was fair too.
I knew what the problems were and wanted to fix them.
But by the time I realized it, much of the game was already developed, and it was too late to turn back.


So I decided to just keep the overall vibe of the game. Sadly, that choice only brought me even more criticism.


I really wanted to build the characters’ stories more carefully and create twists along the way. But I think the story ended up being too long.


Still, I genuinely enjoy writing. I love creating stories.


If I make another game someday, I’d want it to have a fresh concept, use a different engine, and move at a faster pace. I’ve already thought of a few concepts for that new game.


I don’t want to give up. Thank you again for the warm comment. From time to time, I come back to this thread when I think about it.

Hope you're doing well IRL, after reading your comment I'd like to advise you not to take the criticism that deeply, this is the internet and most people show their true nature here without holding back, If I were you I would take only the constructive criticism that has objective points since you like what you did with the game, you don't have to oblige to everyone's opinion since you cannot satisfy everyone's wish, perhaps if the game was on a newer RPGM engine people who have issue with the long storyline they can just skip and I'd be honest here and there it really did feel like a lot of story was talking, less action was happening especially since I couldn't skip or speed up the gam. Also about the part where you mention your job and the game making process I strongly advise you find a balance or once they start conflicting with each other both ends turn into a negative experience.

我真心喜歡寫作。我熱愛創作故事。


如果將來有機會再做一款遊戲，我希望它能夠有一個全新的概念，使用一些不同的引擎，而且速度更快。我已經為這款新遊戲打造了方案。

所以，現在聽到你要休息的時候我其實受到了打擊，因為這就像我喜歡的故事，突然腰就被砍了，看接下來的故事很傷心…

如果…可以的話，我真的希望你可以繼續做下去小櫻和她盲人主人的冒險劇情

時間上其實不用每個月更新，2個月也好，3個月也好，真的希望可以看到後續劇情的劇情

我知道我很自私，得利於自己，但不管別人怎麼說，我都覺得你是好作品，希望我有天能看到能夠完整版1.0的時候

Okay so safe to assume based on the devs comments on this thread that it is highly unlikely that work will resume on this game. Meaning, someone like me that tries hard to only play games in their final form can play the game since there wont be new content. If i get some fun out of it = a W with the caveat of going damn the game had potential, shame its development stopped.

same but it is what it is, the art is really good tho
this happens to a lot of game for many reasons, but the good thing is there are way too many other games in japanese that are comepleted but only need a good translation
