the game freezes at this point as you write but you have to wait about 5 minutes without doing anything, it returns to normal by itself and you can continue playing I tested and it's ok, it's possible that the graphics hang on our computers

What I did when it froze was just rollback(mousewheel) a couple of scenes/lines of text. And clicked thru it again. And if it doesnt work, do that again. At most it took 3 tries and it would continue on past the 'freeze'.
Also, might just be me, but I noticed that I had zero freezing/hanging after I changed the game to performance mode. You might wanna try that if you haven't (preferences)

excellent for me there is no rush, even if you are busy and publish it on the weekend it's fine.

I was able to get through the update by using torrent version not the compressed version. I started a new game on performance mode in the preference settings. I clicked slowly through the stutters letting each tag the appears load first then I click to continue. No skipping just slow and steady

This game is so laggy to play, those damn animations make the game experience is very bad, although I admit that the model is very good, but, to be able to play smoothly is the most important

Agreed. It runs horrendously. That needs to be fixed ASAP.
i have been waiting for this game for quite some time
i hope the dev fixes the issue the people are facing
