you've got to juke her out - she'll always move to the room you're currently in on the third movement, but there's a grace period after the message pops up before it finishes reading it out. if you move through a doorway or stairwell during it, you'll leave her in the dust and get away safe. when she starts moving around, try to stay close enough to a doorway while avoiding other threats.

your download got fucked up, just redownload the game and use a different source.

What program are you using for opening the file? If you haven't yet, try 7zip
