Seriously, another Unity game stupidly filled with retarded-size PNG images. What´s the FUCKING POINT for 4MB large "10- House_Shower_02.png" ? When u can either make it 1,2MB by Pngyu if u for some fuckin reason need the image in PNG, or about 68kB-100kB in WebP with no recognizable difference. In that case, stupid 2,5GB size of this would shrink to somewhere around 300MB...if much.
We already talked about this mate; 3 pages ago. You can stop your "make your games smaller" campaign now, we've seen it everywhere. Seek professional help; from an IT guy; and buy yourself a bigger Hard Drive for Christmas... and drop the attitude while you're at it ;)

@Dracis3D You know i love you:) But your walktrough is wrong.
You need 2 Indenpendence to trigger a scene
So what you have too do is:
Day 1
drive to town
Pool- Yeah, now did it go
drive again to town
go for a run (normal)
go to meis
Day 2
flex and stretch
go to city by your new car
north side jogging...i´m fine thx, accept help
go for a swim
go to meis
Day 3
flex and stretch
flex and strech again
Take a shower
Just go with the feeling
now back to the pool and talk to Kate, now you are ready:)
after that your walkthroug works fine

Suspect v0.10 created the issue, as I'm pretty sure the car wasn't an early option on the versions I played (Metro). I'll update the walkthrough when the stable v0.10 is pirated out (sorry Unshi - But I do feel this site generates supporters as well)

Thank you.

Piracy is piracy; it's always been there and it always will; and everyone has ever pirated something from one or another.

I'm not against piracy "per se"; but I do think people should always wonder who they are stealing from; there's a difference between obtaining gta5 for free after theyve sold x million copies (for instance) and ripping a game that relies on supporters to get done.

I feel like some of you in here do understand that difference (you; uncleTv; and many more) and drop a link to our patreon page whenever you can; or send em towards us whenever possible; thats cool, and its all we ask for.

A 1$ dollar donation; a free follower in our patreon page; a comment saying "hey good job, but improve here or there"; help inmensely and a lot of guys from this forum seem to understand that and come after afterwards to us in discord or by message with stuff like this.

Point being... as long as you understand that if theres no money theres no game; and try and do something (free if you wish, but still something) to compensate for it; we shall survive and appreciate it.

That's why we keep coming back here, and not any other pirates forum ;)

Usual I shy away from early version games due to lack of content but AOH been on my radar for a long while so I finally played it.

Pros:

Interactivity 7/10
Game - I like how there are 3 different modes based on previous choices. While some of the stats are rather useless , it is after all a 0.1 version. It is also smart to include small plot details on different paths if the clicker chooses to read which helps to give more information and understanding of Natasha's situation and the world she lives in.

From their page you can also tell the developers do try to make an effort with their patreons - wall papers, battle contests, frequent update news etc

Writing - 8/10
At the first run, I find the words to be rather lengthy (There is a lot of read, hello is this a porn game?). Even the porn scene narrative were unusually long but it was then I realised hey this seems like erotic novel writing. After that, I stopped left clicking and started reading the narrative like I was reading a actual book which is actually pretty decent. Its funny how perspective changes when you have a different mindset. Getting Spook involved is indeed the right choice.

Originality - 9/10
Comic view mode is interesting especially the choice differentiation scenes. Superhero parody is also something that hasn't been overused or even used at all when compared to the general porn meta u find these days. Even the writing is very different from what we are so used to.

Artwork - 9/10
Seriously you guys have outdone yourself on parody reference to SJ. Agent Romanov is every bit of what every fan / comic boys imagined of black widow gone wild. She is unbelievable smoking hot. Take the cake, you guys earned it.
Now it would have been more fun if Selina bear some resemblance to AH since the costume was adapted from BM rises but I am more than contended with SJ plus your version of CW is cute. Poison Ivy seems weird to me however , probably with the pink hair which I guess you cant use red coz of BW but why pink lol - Anyhow just a personal preference. Her body suit however is on point. Good pick! While on the body suit topic, yea it didn't spell sexy to me when BW wore it but on the second walk through when I saw poison ivy again, i was like ohhhhhh , now it make sense. Kind of like Batman and robin lol

Cons:

Save slots 6/10
For the love of god, give us more save slots. Becoz your artwork is that good, I wan to save every scene / plot but there is only 7 slots. Not to mention being a interactive game with 3 different routes, it is really hard to manage and play through. Not sure if 10 is the max for unity engine but if so, damn we are stuffed. I know you mentioned of a collection room before (pardon me for only being able to read first 20 pages which i gave up after) back in Feb this year. That may solve it if it can be implemented eventually.

User friendly 6/10
Don't get me wrong , game is straightforward - just choose and left click , duh lol. But the stats can be rather confusing, what is the difference between strength vs power, independence vs Will power, huh what?? Also what is with the alien icon when u flick over the stats, is it a bad stats? I think a explanation is required in the walk-through at the very least if its not in game.

Next is becoz there are different paths, players are encouraged to replay the game but scenes that we have watched before cant seem to be fast forward? That can be rather irritating. Or am I an idiot here as there is one but I didn't locate it?

Future of AOH ?/?
It is overall a very well though out game. Your dedication and quality have all been reflected in the game. But I have to ask (which I may be overstepping hence apologies here first), in two more months , AOH will have another update making it 0.12 and it will be officially 2 years old. Generally speaking, most games should be at least 80% completed by the 2nd year. To be fair, I know there was a cooling period + probably some modification since Spook joined as a partner. There are the other projects you have and obviously real life issues.

At the current rate of 1 update every 2 months, AOH may truly only be completed by 2021 or longer lol unless u plan to cut the story and end it early. By no means am I judging your commitment nor the awesome quality game work but i do wonder if it is feasible on how things are going at the moment. Please do not hate me for saying Perhaps it is better to focus on just one game given the constraint resources you two may be facing is what I am getting at. I just feel beWilder deserves better attention + support and I do hope your patreons feel the same way (support wise) and am willing to ride out the long wave if and when AOH does take that many years to complete etc.

* Edit - I just noticed the comments of BeWilder saying this is a full time professional job of working these games + if expenses allow, hiring more resoucres/help so updates may be more frequent than every 2 months?*

Lastly, I do feel like a hypocrite piracy typing these wall of text. I cant be a patreon as i share a joint account with my misses so i cant justify the monthly payments. That said, I came across the commission page and it is something I can provide my support in. So let me get my creative juices pumping and I will contact via deviant art.

Awsome review; indeed; very good points (some of which weve been through and some new ones). First tho, I must thank you for the kind words. I do try to make it slightly "mine"; i mean the environtment is set and the characters are what they are; but as long as you can see who it is at first glance I try to deviate a bit from the original character and give something from us. Ivys pink hair; cat being younger and wilder; etc; might not be exactly accurate but are parameters we can play a bit with.

1- Saveslots; you are 100% right, not even gonna try to make an excuse. Ive been posposing it and posposing it and I have a system working (but disabled) for the main screen with a picture of the scene the save was made in; the stats of the character; path chose; everything... and scales to an infinite number of slots... but i never seem to have the time to implement it in the game.

2- future: we have a plan; dont worry, and we are remodelling it as we speak. We know ourselves that running with this for many more years isnt a valid option so we are exploring ways to get everything done soon and flawless.

3- User friendly: yes totally right there too. One of those concessions Ive made to myself for being an alpha version. The "dark stats" were an initial idea that got discarded during development since it would take a lot of work from my part to make them useful and a lot of grinding weird scenes from the user. I just havent removed the UI yet; which i shouldve.

4- Spook and text: yeah, spook loves to write and describe things but i think he has the skill to pull it off. Its not easy to be as descriptive as he is and still keep the pase going and the excitement built. It surprised me a bit too when we started working together but as you say i think its good for the game and i also think it tells us apart from many others. So yeah! Spook is a great asset for bewilder.

5- replayability: yeap; something i have in my todo list from a while back too and should be easy to implement... i just need a bit of spare time.

Still; great review; thanks foe taking the time to do it ;)

From a web-developer guy - right now, it looks more like you are the one who needs professional help. No-one in IT who actually is worth anything wastes space for nothing and do not optimize his stuff.

Noone in IT who is actually worth anything tries to optimize an unfinished game during development process if that means changing the 90% of the textures in game. The game needs a massive cleaning and not only on images; in scripts and organization too; we can agree on that. Doing it right now and because someone with a very bad attitude in a pirate forum said so is a completely different topic.

If it bothers you so much; sit back, relax and wait for the full version official release.

I was really hoping Maeda had more plans to put Nat's body to use in different ways. By attempting to kill her, however, it implies he has no use for her anymore.
He did what? Really? No... that can't be right...

What a lil' old fan boy like me thinks is that perhaps so wires got crossed between Maeda, his more powerful partners and the people who run the inbetweens... I think Maeda may just have something in mind for Nat after all but if he can last long enough to see it through is different matter.

Unshi has pretty much covered the response already, but I also want to throw my hat in here and say my thanks for the sweet praise and the sincere constructive criticism that helps us out too.

I'd also like to say that I completely agree with the 'Adding Spook was a good thing' notion. More of that please world! Muhahaha. Seriously though, thanks. This and our other game are in honesty my first ever professional writing job and I may still have a lot to learn as I practice the trade but I am glad to hear people take the time to read what I do, appreciate the effort put in and even go so far as to enjoy it. Really, it means a lot. Cheers man!

Also something I'm glad you noticed an pointed out, the fact that each path has subtle narrative differences and hints to different plot points. That is something I like to do as a reward for each path and to make the special, as well as a nice bonus to those who enjoy all parts of the story. It also helps make them each choice just that little bit extra special, am I right? Funny point to that too, in our game Noemi's Toscana Rebirth, I put in a reference to the Monster running loose in AoH too, in part for the fun and in part to help draw the game world just that little bit closer, but mostly as a little thing for those who play both our games to get a chuckle at. I'd expect more simple and subtle things like that happening over the years as we build ever onwards, upwards and outwards!

As for the commission idea, by all means give us a shout when you've got an idea in mind. I'll be waiting to hear what sexy antic you come up with, and I'll be glad to help with any thoughts too. We're still in the middle of kicking this Mission #2's ass, and we've got a quick turn around to get another shot of Noemi out by the year's end, but we'll be sure to have some kinky fun with the ladies up for commissions when you and we have the time and ideas!

All the best man, and all the best to everyone else out there too! Time to get back to the kink-forge with us though!

U two don't need another wall of text about AOH. But the jizz is i am really impressed with the game, enough for me write a long review and to visit your patreon page. I can feel the hype, dedication and attempt in engaging with your patreons which is obviously a good thing. From there , if you allow me to be frank, i saw the number of patreons and AOH was actually developed in Feb 2017. I feel your work deserves ways more than the patreon numbers. There are games out there with piss poor quality artwork abusing porn meta plots that are cliche but may seem to have a higher income generator which I would be frustrated if if i was the developer. (Everyone would be) From a outsider point of view, it may be simply these games have more frequent updates and more sex scenes coz we men think with our dicks.

Playing AOH is like a breathe of fresh air - cutting across other meta games. You two have succeeded in this regard. Perhaps just need to be a bit more commercial savy in getting more followers which there is a plan apparently.

I can see your ambition in creating a Bewilder universe where all your work are semi linked. But such a big ambition needs to be carefully moderated by current resources and still being able to capture enough financial support to keep the house running. As adults, we are all still children (or in this case, perverts) in mind fantasising of games and comics. I enjoying playing these games as It makes me feel young again if you get my drift. Hence I admire your guts in going full time professionalism in trying to make your dream becoming a reality. So much so that I feel like supporting you two in some format, saw your commission page, went to create a paypal account and deviant art account for the first time.

I do hope AOH can have more frequent and larger updates in the future, I am also a fan of NTR and it be interesting to see some good NTR literature writing for Noemi when there is more content but above all, we dont know each other really but I do wish you two the best in your BeWilder adventures to come.

PS - I have send a deviant note message already asking if there are opening slots which was before I saw Spooks reply. Will send another message with my idea in mind.

Cheers~

Oh please, Wall away! I do love me some text!

Then stick around and get to know us, you might find we're quite adorable... seriously though, it's been great chatting with you thus far and we do hope you'll stick around. Not just because we like friendly peoples but we like the helpful and respectful constructive criticism too, the kind that fans perspectives can only give. We do tend to see things from the inside looking out at times so we do listen to what people have to say from their perceptive.

Cheers again for the post, and I'll be seeing you on the Deviant Art side for that side of the fun shortly no doubt!

From an art perspective; yeah, I agree. A trillion low quality images and low quality animations draw more attention and patreons than just a bunch of high quality cgs. That said; AoH was my baby when I started and I never intended for it to be a marketing bitch asset. I always wanted to be something I would be proud of; and something to have on my page and to look at, and put a smile on my face. Being a programmer I always went with the mindset "let's see if I can do this, then that; etc" and improve.

So... yeah; dont get me wrong, we barely manage to reach each month alive... but i would not change that for another "mediocre" game with 10 times the patreons we have right now. Everything I've learnt during this process is priceless to me, and (just as an example) be able to enter and even win sometimes an art contest; just because I decided not to remain on what I knew, but get better; makes me proud.

Money will come; hopefully; and when it does we will improve with it; but quality will remain as good as we learnt it to be; both in art and writing; we always have time to improve our gear and make many more cgs and animations.

Again; thanks for those words and your commitement; we hope we can keep you and many others hooked in ;)
