I used the "vanaillyfy the game" or similar to reset everything and now it is in English but i would like to update my mods with KK, may that have been the cause of the language change?
Another thingthat happended was that the initSettings changed as well, it was in japanese but the menu itself was different, I did not take a photo.
Summarising, is it ok to update mods from the initSettings Update button?
Just went through and redone all my original girls... This is my "Girls Next Door" set...

I seen some folks doing them this way and I liked it also because you can see how the model looks in custom DHH lighting and such -- which the generic character card doesn't exactly provide. Also, if you do get a close up on the face, then you cannot see the outfit/body or vice versa. Thus this being preferred. I know I'm a dork... LOL!Oh hey, i really like this type of preview! Basically my "trap" bases were just using the "build anywhere" and "allow overlap" scripts (now included in the STN packs by default) where I would make walls through the scenery on the paths outside the build area to keep the girls at a certain base. Then I would make sure they had water (well/pump) access, one or more play items (like gamer chair or playground), one or more gather points, bug-catching points, etc., to keep them occupied. The base was just a generic house with a bed, sitting location, cooking location, eating location, and pets. To travel to and from you would need to teleport to the flag. Since the girls will spawn at the last saved coordinates, they can never leave. Just make sure if it's a fishing girl she is at a base with ocean access I guess. All other circumstances are generic and covered. They will forage a LOT more like this -- and stop targeting the far side of the island increasing their growth by eliminating "never executed" decisions. Which is realistically close to 50% of their activities (where they take off running, then like 20 seconds later, pause, then run the other way doing nothing... annoying).Looks fantastic man! BTW! P.S. Hope you found my Glass Beach/Forest Biome houses. That editor creates such a headache. Good thing we never became CAD artists.
It was HORRIBLE that the discord modders never bothered allowing us to create and place new "sleep" spots on the new island nor bothered to add the tier 2 and tier 3 harvest nodes their either. Not to mention every object was locked away under the Studio Neo 2 crap and NEVER added anything to the base game.

Well said. All of it. I am happy how the beach/forest base turned out. It is just a terrible screenshot. I mean the entire idea of making a glass house for the game is to see what is happening inside... aka Nothing what so ever. So we have that going for us. The Wooden stairs had better geometery then the modern ones due to the hand rail placement so I had to use that. Overall It's a nice place. On the other hand if it WASNT a Tropical beach island with no more humans it would be 1.) A real pain to have folks peeping 2.) Okay, so on stairs, yeah they are a pain -- for many reasons. If you make a stairwell to a doorway, the door won't work. Needs a landing, which creates this awkward block of building, which pushes you into the build area further (if you don't use mods) limiting your build space. They won't line up on certain floors at all without overlap. If it overlaps more than two grid squares it creates a wall on the stairs. Yeah they are a PITA. Building is a chore with this game.
They will use the beds and such inside build spaces if:
A. The girls are compatible
B. There is no way to path to the nearest POI on the map where they can do their business. (trap base)
C. The location is in the build space provided on a 1st or 2nd floor. They CAN use the 3rd floor in a couple locations but it depends on the overall elevation. Imagine the build space as a cube not a flat plane. There is a height limit without mods.
D. You have H-ed them there before.
E. On the "Construction Island" (I'm assuming that is a name appointed to the open map after the main game) they will use your built items, I have witnessed it many times.
F. To block Shan you can use my old trap base idea with the walls. At the beach she seems to remain stationary and not initiate Hscenes. At her house and near the ruined city she will roam and forage, at that time she can initiate H. Ergo, prevent the girls from accessing those areas and boom, no more Shan issues.
G. I may have played around with the various ideas regarding "trap bases" back in the day, but the only one that truly worked was walling the girls in at the locations I wanted them to stay at. I was doing this primarily to prevent lag spikes, but found it convenient for many things. Just wall off the paths, I tried fortifying walls around my bases and caused lag due to too many polys.
I never heard of HS2 until the other day. I assume that is a new game on the same engine? Done absolutely zero research on that. What is that like? Similar to AI*Girl or another menu/text based sex animation game like HS?
Not sure which card you refer to as the one that everyone rips off, but I have seen the many rip offs even of my own works. One literally did it yesterday about 3 hours after I uploaded my "Girls Next Door" set (which is my oldest models updated) I logged in to Kenzato Booru and I seen a remake of my Katherine character with the ethnicity changed from Dominican to Caucasian, hair made a few shades lighter, breast size reduced, and the color of the clothes changed -- but no other real changes, even had the freckles in the exact same location, same clothes, same hips/butt/legs/height measurements (exact numbers) etc... I know my gals because I take a lot of time customizing the faces and trying to come up with ways to make my internal vision come true. Katherine is actually based on my high school girlfriend I met in my Vocational Auto Shop class. So I'd recognize her anywhere, even if you make her white, which makes her look albino or something. LOL!
I consider it a form of flattery... Especially since that particular guy/girl has a more popular page than mine and sort of a "branded" name in the character creation communities. It's like when people used to steal my music tracks back in the day and lay down lyrics on them, then claim the song as their own. Most of my stuff was up on CC websites free to use with merely a request of a note of credit for the instrumentals. I used to call people out on it and they'd double down. Then you get their fanboys that come to defend them blindly with no idea what they are talking about. Yet, they could never recreate the stuff exactly without the studio files and individual instrumental tracks -- is that a sine synth or a saw synth, lyre or mandolin? LOL! In the end, who cares? They are posers without a creative bone in their bodies ripping off the work of others. Probably to impress someone else or create a false sense of self-importance...
Yeah the merge option creates strange monstrosities unless the base geometry of the second model is close to the original. I dunno, I find it pretty useless because it just mixes the numeric values between the two models at random with a few points of +/- randomness thrown in. Yet, you still need to make new hair, outfits, and adjust everything in the end -- which is basically making a new character! LOL! What time does that save? I guess it's helpful for those too lazy to learn to create characters, that ripped a few they like, then get bored with the same visuals after a while and are too lazy to log into the boorus for a new one. I dunno. I found it more or less useless.
