The BR version comes with a bunch of mods, plugins and chars. The steam version is the vanilla game.

should be, I'm downloading rn so I will edit later with uncompressed size.
Usually the uncompressed size is close to the same as the compressed so if you wanna risk it now you should still have 20-30 free gb but that's gonna make your pc a bit slow. It's like putting one of those shoes that you know they will fit, but barely.

Edit: Can't help you with data on the base download, I can only download the big one for some reasons, so 200gb there we go..

I need help with how you unpack the files. I have all 15 parts for just the base game that I downloaded through mega. If I use winrar it says it can't open it. Looked through the comments and tried 7-Zip which also says it can't open it. I also tried the torrent download but it didn't work. I don't know enough about this stuff to figure it out on my own anymore.

Sounds like a storage issue or your download is corrupted, make sure you have enough space to extract the archive since you need at least the same amount of data as the unpacked rar files

I have enough storage and I have re-downloaded everything several times so I'm not sure that's it

if it's a fresh installation and the Game was never started before it takes indeed several minutes to start. with the initsettings you can Activate the console, monitor that console window at startup, be patient.
