if it's a fresh installation and the Game was never started before it takes indeed several minutes to start. with the initsettings you can Activate the console, monitor that console window at startup, be patient.man, i've been downloading this game for a couple of days but it keep says it won't respondingView attachment 4131981

the only executable i can open is initsetting but that doesn't seems to be doing anything

been searching for solution, awhile now and seem to have no clear answer.
people been saying if it shows up: Unexpected end of data, every time i try to extract all the file, it's means the file i download are corrupt. but how come? i download it normally.
if anyone have a clear solution please help

theres just many variables to consider. have you tried to download again? are you downloading it in parts or whole?
not extracting the files via winrar?
download again... could be corrupted. have you tried STN's betterrepack public? or the links here?
...in parts? the thing about downloading it parts is that the first download starts the process and it automatically goes to the next files in order. if you try to extract the other parts out of sequence - you will get errors or get pointed to the first file. try identifying which part is errors to then re-download it via different source if possible
...as whole? again, download could have been corrupted (many variables maybe the source file is bad or something)
Using winrar? its the general extracting tool used for zip and rar. like most if not all compressed files are winrar-abled.
ive seen errors due to drive space for a few games. this game and my cards sits at 80.2Gb with the repack updates after updates, no backup files. i have put this game in a thumb drive to hell and back.
I redownload it using the link at page 1 (in parts cause as whole it takes tooo long), and yeh i still have the same problem
i still have 300GB of space left so i don't think that should be the problem, i even tried using 7zip and it still shows up the exact same error on 7zip, so i think the link that posted those r corrupt?

honestly, there probably be more complaints about the links if they were bad and folks would have it replaced. this place is pretty good about that.
is this the only game you downloaded in parts? do the other games work when you downloaded them in parts?
can you test the files to check?
have you tried to repair them?
Again, there are variables. i will detail my experiences with multiple split files for games on here. usually you have to do this at least once for a game this big here.
I recommend putting the the parts in 1 folder, all 15 parts with no other files there. Point your extraction tool to it
now in winrar, it will tell you if youre missing files from the complete archive and you may find errors. try to repair the file
test it again and it should be good. Every split archive ive downloaded here do get errors and i had to test the archives a bunch. if test fails, theres no complete extraction of the game. ive found that repairing , it usually fixes my issues or i have to redownload where the split file errors a few times, same link & eventually it works. In winrar, you see the split files tested each going in sequence as long as the primary file initiates the extraction.
depending on your pc... youll need to dedicate this part as its focus. preferably nothing running in the background like web browsing. your antivirus could be running leave that alone.
Hopefully you could get the game to install.
Are all sex animations available in game? In Studio there are Lotus, Prone Bone, standing tied, and sitting face to face animations available. In the regular game I havent found which furniture or combination of stats to unlock them. For HS2 you can click and go once the player is full unlocked.

You can't get to the cooking part of the tutorial without the fish though

Both should have the same graphic quality. Any differences maybe due to mods.
AI Shoujo is a better game. HS2 is just a scene picker. So if you are only keeping one of them, I would keep AIS

, and I downloaded a few .zipmods and first tried putting them with all the other .zipmods from the author whose .zipmods I just downloaded--[INSTALL LOCATION]\mods\sideloader modpack\cunihinx--but that didn't work. So I tried putting them in \MyMods, and various other places. That didn't work, either. And then it occurred to me the .zipmods didn't seem to include the character .png, like what most Illusion games use for character importing, so... am I doing something wrong, or is that link--which I got in this thread--just totally worthless for characters, since it doesn't include their chara data?

These .zipmods you can put in [INSTALL LOCATION]\mods
or
[INSTALL LOCATION]\mods\sideloader modpack\cunihinx
doesn't matter they should work. These mods are not characters but accessories like hair, glasses, earrings some weapons and stuff so they don't need a character.png card. You should find these mods in Character-Maker/Editor.

HS2 is the successor to HS1 and therefore plays exactly the same. AIS is a completely different game. Here you are on an island and grind things that you can exchange with the trader and later build a house or go fishing. It's a kind of “survivor” game. If you like grinding and you like a wilderness environment you should choose AIS in my opinion, but because of the many mods it can come to FPS drops if you use older hardware.

So where would I get the actual cards for these mods, then? Do I just have to go to each individual modder's patreon or w/e and download all of them manually? I was really hoping for an easier, more centralized place I could just grab them all.
